Streamline ???

For years, I used Adobe CS 1.Recently, I was able to get my office to update to Creative Cloud. Now, I have access to all kinds of powerful new features that I do not know how to use.After CS 1, I heard that Adobe incorporated a new technology into Illustrator. It was originally called Streamline. You can take a simple drawing, like scanned into pencil artwork, and transform it into a vectorized image in Illustrator. My question: where do I learn more about how to use this "Streamline" technology in Illustrator CC? Are there basic tutorials on Adobe's web-site? What about Lynda.com? (I have an active Lynda account) What do I look for?

In CC the feature is called Image Trace.

You can also look for the keyword autotrace or vectorize

New image trace

What won't be of help is any content about the older function (CS2 to CS5) which was called Live Trace. It works differently now.

Wow! Streamline. Haven't heard that it a while.

As Monika mentioned, the feature you're looking for is Image Trace.
