Tengo problemas para convertir un trazo de pluma mas fluido con la herramienta lápiz

logro dibujar encima del trazo de pluma con el lapiz (seleccionando el segmento deseado), pero el trazo de pluma continua debajo, nose que hacer?

You want to edit that line by drawing over it with the pencil tool?

Can you double click the pencil tool? Is "Edit selected paths" turned on?

hola! muchas gracias! si! asi es! aun con la opcion "editar rutas seleccionadas) sigue apareciendo el trazo anterior y encima de este el trazo de lapiz.
