There is some possibility of working with .cpt files (from corel photo paint) on adobe illustrator ?

Hello guys, today i start a new pessoal project, and i need buy a lot of files with digital arts from differentes sources. The majority is on .ai files, but some ones of files come on .cpt files.

I open this files with corel photo paint software and looks full editable, when i use export to .pdf and open on illustrator i don't can edit, show only one layer. On .psd export something similar thing happen, the image is fully broken.

Anyone know a method for can work and edit this images on Adobe softwares ?
