Por algún motivo cuando inserto texto no me deja escribir nada en adobe illustrator de iPad. A alguien le ha pasado similar? 

I have recently started using illustrator for ipad and have been stuck for a while trying to erase a little part of a drawing I made with the line tool. It is an octagon. It seems to me that there is no polygon tool in the illustrator for ipad, so I ended up using the line tool. The only problem now is that if I try to fix the corners with the eraser it erases too much of the line, even when using sisze 1. Do you have any suggestions how I cound fix the corners or somehow draw an octagon in illustrator for ipad (btw the desktop version is not an option for me). Thank you.

I never used iPad. I use only desktop because I am only comfortable with larger screen work area.  What is the purpose of having separate tutorial for iPad? Is it possible to use this tutorials in desktop?   

Not a regular user of illustrator but went to do a project yesterday and a landing page appeared (see attachent) but whatever I do, restore purchase, log out and in again, remove app and reload, cancel subscription and re subscribe it always reverts to this page after then whirring circle. Any suggestions ? 

I have been using my ipad illustrator app for months.. the problem is that lately it has been days since my projects wont sync, they always show the blue circle arrows icon (syncing) on the latest files i made changes and wont get the green check sign (synced)... i usually work with my macbook also since we dont have all features on ipad yet... is there a way to see a progress bar or way to force restart the sync? Unfortunantly it does not make sense, since i can open older cloud stored files, it downloads in few minutes massive files like a 1,5 gb ...does anyone have an idea to make the sync work?!

Hello everyone. I have been using illustrator for less than a year and for about 2 months on ipad. I am pretty new but. I am struggling to find answers on how to create a simple stroke outline of text like the picture attached. I have tried so far making duplicates of my text and and playing with stroke thickness and stacking them but it's not looking quite like my reference picture. IAM trying to do EXACTLY the effect circled on the picture attached. Please let me know how I can achieve this step by step on AI for ipad it would be very appreciated. I have been searching for a while but can't find any clear iPad instructions. Thank you 

Hello, I have drawed a line and selected direct selection tool to move an anchor point to another location, so the lines will be smoother. But the anchor point disappears when trying to click and drag. One solution might be that I should turn off real-time drawing under "preferences" but I can't find this setting in adobe illustrator ipad. Any ideas or help what might solve the problem? PS I have also re-installed the app and checked my adobe version and ipad version for compatibility- this should be ok. Any help would be much appreciated. KR,Helena

I'm from Cambodia and Khmer is my language. I am a graphic designer and most of the works I am working on is Khmer. We are using Khmer Unicode as our keyboard layout. I was so excited to use Khmer on illustrator for iPad but I am so disappointed to see that the illustrator for iPad doesn't support Khmer Unicode but surprisingly Photoshop for iPad does. Why doesn't both support the same features as they come from the same company. I have used Affinity photo and designer too but they also don't support Khmer Unicode on both desktop apps and iPad apps. Illustrator and photoshop both supports Khmer language and I was so excited to use illustrator on my iPad to work on some Khmer text but, again, I reached the same disappointment.

Hi, I would like to export only the content of the artboard and not outside of  it, is this possible? Also, I have created a document that is roughly 7x9 but when I export it it is about less than a quarter in pixel dimensions. I would like to export it as a 300dpi png at 7x9 is this possible?

Weird thing here... is there a way to adjust the length of time that is a long press? When drawing with the pen tool on iPad, my indecisiveness consistently deletes the point I want to adjust because it thinks I'm doing a long press. And then I have to undo and go back to my train of thought. Eventually as I gain more experience I'm sure I'll get faster with the app, but right now it's slow going as I learn. Is there a way to adjust how long is a long press? iPad OS setting or AI? I feel like I should know this...  Thanks!!

Hi, I use illustrator on my ( iPad 15.6.1 ) for a while now and it's all of a sudden stopped working. I already paid my subscription for this month ,I reinstall it even though I can not  access to the app or create a new artboard, it won't allow me to use any of the tools... there's a screenshot of what i got when i open the app, i clicked on everything ,thank you

Does anyone know if the apps work well on the new iPad Pro's with M2 chips? I know there were issues when the M1 chip originally came out so I want to make sure the apps work well on the chip before purchasing. (I'm specifically concerned about illustrator) For reference: I had my Macbook M1 & iPad Air stolen and looking at getting an iPad Pro M2 to replace both hopefully. I'm a little concerned about the iPad not being able to keep up RAM wise when running the Adobe apps though.

Hello, I am trying to create text on a path in illustrator for iPad. I create a path and text, then group together, but when I click on the T option to the right of the screen the 'text on a path' option is not highlighted therefore is not an option for me. No matter what I do this option stays greyed out, someone help please!!!?

Hello there, I have just bought myself a brand new iPad 7th generation and tried opening pdf files i have created via my desktop illustrator, that are over a 100 mbs but although the launches normally on its own whenever i try to do the thing that i've mentioned above the app just keeps on crashing and throwing me out. The same thing happens also when i try to import more than 8-9 png files on an empty artboard.. can somebody help me with this issue urgently?

I'm using Apple Pencil, but I can't get the full-size keyboard to come up. Keep getting the little mini one... drives me nuts. Anyone else? I managed to bring it up once, but I have no idea what I did and I can't seem to replicate it...

Eye dropper window goes black sometimes. How can I prevent this?

I can download and sign in to adobe illustrator on my PC perfectly fine, and I can download the app on my iPad too without any issue, but upon attempting to sign in, I type in my Adobe ID and password, verify it through the text sent to my phone, and it takes me back to the sign in page, and I'm stuck in an endless loop. I can download creative cloud and photoshop from there just fine, but not illustrator. I have a student account. Many thanks in advance

Pretty self explanatory... I'm sure the solution is simple.. but right now, if I want to draw a straight line from point A to point B.. then start a new line going from point C to point D, what I'm doing is after point B, click the arrow tool, picking an empty space in the canvas, then re-starting the pen tool... seems like I'm missing something obvious.

A short question I'm hoping to find the answer to. Do the pre-installed brushes for Illustrator on the iPad come with a license for commercial use?
