I accidently clicked 'NO" on recovery of my files -

How to recover the data of my files - Adobe options Yes to continue recovery or 'NO' - which i pressed accidently - only to realise that all my history and data of many years are no longer accessible!!!

That pop up only appears if InDesign crashed while you working on a document. Even if you say no to that, you should be able to open the document as of the most recent save.

Hey Bob, I appreciate your response. Thank you. I bought the Apple Mac mini with M4 Pro chip and now when I open any of my indesign files it opens but the spinning apple icon carries on spinning?

Did you crash or force quit InDesign? If not, InDesign is not shutting down properly. I would consider and un-install and a re-install. Also, are you saving to a server?

 

As to your original question, I'm pretty sure the recovery file is removed after you click "no".
