Question

how can I import images in folders into lightroom classic

When I shoot for image stacks I have my camera save to individual folders. Is ther any way to have LRc import the raw files in their separate folders to make processing and locating so much easier? Searched high and low and can't find an answer.

Thanx.

If you used Windows, you might be able to use Downloader Pro (which I use) to offload camera card to disk with specific names & folders.  While I have not used this, it seems to have 'tokens' to use to create them based on card folders.

In the import dialog Destination pane, you can setup if and how Lightroom Classic should create subfolders (like dated subfolders). There is an option to use the existing subfolders from the memory card.

Sorry, it seems I remembered this incorrectly. There is an option in the preferences, as shown below in the screenshot. To be honest, I have never turned this off, so I don't know how exactly this is different from keeping it checked and if this will do what you want.
