I have an issue while creating 1:1 previews in Lightroom Classic. The Disc C: is getting full when there are more than 1000 pictures generated at once. The disc is getting so full that there isn't any free space left and I have to restart the system. After restarting the system everything goes back to normal. I'm sending the screens in attachments. I often have 8000 pictures from one wedding and I didn't have any problems like this a few months back. I haven't changed anything since then. I generate previews only, without any presets or adjustments.  I optimized the catalog, purged cache and deleted all the old previews (also the  previews file) and it didn't help). Of course I also made all the updates. Looking forward to your feedback, I can't work like this any longer! Thanks in advanceAnia

I am going through multiple similar pictures to reject the ones of lower quality.I don't use any filters.The problem is that, whenever I reject a Candidate picture, it becomes the Selected picture.The Selected and Candidate change place.Any idea what I am doing wrong? I find it hard to believe this is intended functionality.  

Hey guys. How do you exit a catalog and go back to being able to view all your photo folders under folders.Lightroom classic defaults to opening the catalog you had been working on. I do not use catalogs all the time so I just want to be able to exit the catalog and just work in lightroom with access to all folders.ThanksJohn

Hi there. I have been using LRC for years, so I know quite a bit about it. However, I have been struggling with this issue for months and have tried every workaround I can think of. I hope someone out there knows how to fix it.  The issue: In my folder pane, when I create or move a folder in LRC, the folder moves/is made, but then a big chunk of my folders disappears. I have to restart the program to see all the folders again. It is so annoying and really taking up too much time in my workflow. Does anyone else have this issue?  Not a lag issue: I have my catalog running on my fastest internal drive and don't believe it is a lag issue since it never resolves unless I restart. I have the problem on both versions---on my laptop and my high-performance PC system. I have checked all the settings I can think of, and nothing is set to be hidden. The whole nested structure shows unless I move or create a new folder. I have tried to flatten my folder architecture

Hello all, I am all of the sudden getting this error in my lightroom classic, I am running on a macOS Monterey, the error says that it has encountered an error with the local sync database and needs to quit. I push learn more to restoore from a cloud backup that I do not have, and the instructions that say how to solve make no sense as I don't have any of the files they describe. Does anyone have any extra insight with this error? I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it remains with the same error. Thanks for your help! Kalyn

With the new update, when using  Select Sky or Select Subject, i get an unexpected error message saying something went wrong and the request could not be completed.

Hätte da mal eine Frage. wenn ich beim bilderbearbeiten unten in der leiste rechtsklick auf die bilder mach kommt ein menü. kann ich in dem menü dann sachen Fablich hinterlegen um sie leichter zu finden?? Ich brauch sehr viel das Feld Entwicklereinstellungen und das Expotiernen. For years, I've used Publish Services to update folders on my computer (screensaver folder, desktop background folder, etc). I recently updated LR Classic to the new version 10 and now all my services are missing: How can I recover these or locate them on my computer?

For various reason, not imortant, my photos have moved from one drive to another and as a result LR does not know where they are located. I want to delete ALL my old Ircat files and restart with a new catalogue based on the current locations of the photos stored and protected on my hard drive (F as it happens to be called) with a backed up set on an external drive so I am not worried about loosing the actual photos and edits.Because of the moves and multiple restores / backups, I have multiple locations for the "old" Ircat files. I am a user not a nerd so I just want to "Clean My House" and start again. In simple terms is there anyone who can help me. I have over 20000 photos some with edits so I will not move them to yet another drive but I have capacity to put a new catalogue anywhere either on the same drive of a different one.

I have had to reinstall LrC after a PC repair. All went well until I mistakenly accepted a pop up to apply HDR effects to the Library.  Now every image is oversaturated and looks ghastly. Is there a way to reverse this or do I need to reinstall LrC and use a backed up copy of the catalog and preferences (and maybe other files)?

I consider this a bug. If I select several images with the same mask and change one setting in one of the images, it updates all images's setting with the same exact settings of the updated image, including the position, size , etc... instead of just the changed setting.   eg. 3 photos with Linear Gradient "Mask 2". All have different settings. If I change the Blacks on the selected image, it should update only the Blacks on the other photos and not all other settings, and much less, the size and position of every mask   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Good morning,   I have Lightroom classic and everything was fine. But for the last 2 days, I cannot save and export the pictures i have imported and modified. When doing the export, the tab at the top goes directly as full and stays like this wih no export of the pictures into the selected folder. Can you help?   Thank. Alex

Hi, among several thousand images that I have imported into LR (NEF => .dng) several single files are corrupted. LR cannot open them. The NEF files are ok, imported . dng-files are corrupted. File names and Metadata are ok, the development protocol is greyed.How can I repair the corrupted files?Is there any program to find single corrupted files among thousands of images?Thanks!Robert, ViennaWindows 10 Prof, latest version, LR Classic latest vesion

Has anyone with a laptop running the new Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or 9 185H chips checked how lightroom performs on these new chips and can their integrated ARC graphics handle any GPU acceleration tasks in LR? Or it that something I still need a dedicated GPU for? Been using lightroom on iPad OS and Android and while it works, the workflow is kind of clunky, slow and lacks features that the desktop lightroom programs have (like the AI Denoise feature) and lightroom moible doesn't seem to reconizse the image stacks I made on the desktop versions. So I've been considering getting a laptop for photo editing (among other things) and would like to know if the if those new Core Ultra chips and their Integrated ARC Graphics are a good fit and and handle at least some of the GPU accerated tasks that would normually be offloaded to a battery sucking GPU.

Hi, I just upgraded to Ventura on a new MacStudio. I'm printing with the latest Canon driver for my older Pixa Pro 100. When printing from Lightroom Classic, I am unable to select Color Sync, the option is greyed out, although I can select a custom profile in the Lightroom printer's menu. First print was totally off. Help!

Hi - Lightroom Classic crashing on the library module after a few seconds to a few minutes use. Just installed v14.2 on Windows 11 hoping it would fix the same issue which was also affecting my previous install making it unusable. I've sent crash reports. Can anyone help?

i regular use sync across different images, but if i want to copy over general adjustments from mask to mask with the level of detail and individual slider control in the sync dialog box that pops up when syncing different images, is that possible? thanks

Lightroom Classic frequently crashes during basic photo operations, particularly when cropping or resizing images. I'm running Lightroom Classic 14.1.1 (currently the latest version) on a Mac with the latest OS, and I've been having recurring issues with the Develop settings. Every time I import new photos, the develop icon on the thumnail no longer appears, and the Copy/Paste develop settings option is grayed out completely.Sometimes I can go back and see that the settings will still copy/paste on previous imports, sometimes not. And sometimes *certain* photos in the new import will allow me to copy or paste develop settings, but sometimes none of them work. I've restarted LR and reset preferences so many times I've lost count, and doing so does address the issue—but only temporarily. However, doing this every time I have new photos wastes a big chunk of my work time with every new edit session, which is getting extremely frustrating.I've read every "fix" on this thread that I can find, but not one of them actually *fixes* the problem for good. I'm not sure if this is a Blurb issue or Adobe.  I have posted a similar question on Blurb's support site. Creating a Magazine with 240 pages.  Blurb says this is the limit for a Magazine.  While creating this magazine ( and have saved it) it will let me put 240 pages in the magazine.  But, once I start adding images to pages greater than 215, then for whatever reason close LrC, then later launch LrC and go back to the Book module there are only 215 pages in the magazine. The images that were placed on pages greater than 215 indicate they have been used on a page, but those pages no longer exist.I thought I had messed something up, so to get rid of the indicator that they have been used in the book I had to remove those images from the collection and then re-add them.  Otherwise if I added pages after 215 and used them again they would indicate they where used on two pages.  I then added more pages and images.  But if I close LrC and come ba

HelloI faced a problem that my video did not import and Lightroom and Adobe Bridge both failed and stalled during import...The import file format was 3840x2160 with 30p and the lenght was about 1 min.Using the nikon file transfer software copied the file without a problem.I also tried a much shorter video of about 10 second and lR and Bridge could import that file (that was to check if maybe the fileformat .MOV or the video format was the culprit.Now after several tests I can say it is the adobe software which failed.I do have had the latest version of the adobe suite updated automatically by the internet.   The imported file (using nikon file transfer) could be opened in adobe premiere pro.. no issue and the fileand format was not corrupt.   Mac: 15.3.1 (24D70) Lightroom Classic 14.1.1. I have installed Lightroom Classic on my new desktop but it is not recognising my catalogue which is on an external drive. The catalogue works on my laptop. Any suggestions please? I am working in windows 11.
