Hi there,   In Lightroom CC I do editing and culling for clients and we've always just exported the catalog and dropped it in Dropbox. I'll open it, do my edits and then the client can just open it on their end when I'm done and it's closed out. My new client, regardless if I just use the live catalog in Dropbox, or I export the catalog as a new catalog and send it to her, cannot see the same thing I am and cannot open it. The screenshots attached show what I see (thumbnails) and what she sees (list). Is there a new process on the latest updates or what am I suddenly doing wrong?   We're both on LR CC 14.0.1  |  OSX Sequoia 15.0.1   Thanks!   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator} 

Hello everyone, i need your Help please, because i cant work with Lightroom at the Moment. For Timelapse and Pictures i edit them in Lightroom, then i export them in Tiffs Rec2020 HDR. To make a Timelapse or Video i use DaVinci. All Colour Spaces are right for the Workflow and it worked very fine all the Year. But seems like after last Lightroom Update, Lightroom changed the intern Colour Space and Deep. If i test old Pictures Tiffs with HDR edited with LR in DaVinci, they work fine and they look exactly like in Lightroom. So it can't be the Problem from DaVinci. But the new ones look ugly and i cant match another Colour Space. So my Question is, is in Lightroom is an Colour Managment update or Failure?I really hope someone can help me fast, i want to upload my next Video   Patrick

I have hundreds of thousands of photographs taken over fifty years in a Lightroom CC catalog. The normal metadata fields for all images include, among other things, the date/time and longitude/latitude.  I can see the locations in the Lightroom map module. A) My current project requires county data. Since there is no "county" field, I have been inserting that data into an otherwise unused field. Due to the quantities involved, doing this manually for older images or where the city/sublocation may straddle county lines is unrealistic.B) I need to generate captions from this metadata showing "year-sublocation-county-state." Future projects may require some other caption configuration. In the Print module, I can do what I want, but that does not generate durable metadata.Neither of these objectives seems to be included in Lightroom CC. There is a commercial product that might handle the county issue, but they want $1,000/month so I am clearly not their target audience. I have no

I am very excited to see the growing support for deeper bit depth screens with the adaptive modes, JXL support, etc. This can't happen soon enough for me, so qudos all round for this work. However.... Even in Lightroom itself, Grid and Survey mode do the HDR->SDR (terrible), whereas the Develop module and Loupe do HDR rendering. On an iPhone (to just take one quick example) a JPEG (with HD content) will only render properly sometimes, but is often displayed as the HDR->SDR (terrible) mode. I cannot see any way that I would be comfortable, or gain any benefit, to distribute a JPEG file with HD content and nobody I've shown it to wants HDR content in a JPEG file because of this. So, I think this comment from the Adobe Blog about the new Adaptive mode worries me that this is just compounding the problem:"Using the Adobe Adaptive profile is straightforward.... Mein Lightroom Classic (Win 11) ist mir nach dem neusten Update irgendwie durcheinander gekommen: Die Steuerflächen oben links zum steuern der Größe im Bildschirm sind verschwunden und auch die Funktion der Taste "F" für die Bildanzeige im vollen Bildschirm ist zeigt nur noch einen grauen Schirm.Kann man Lightroom irgendwie reparieren oder muss ich es neu installieren? Danke für eure Hilfe!Helmut

When I zoom in on my images in the development module, they are blurry.I didn't have that before, I still use the same parameters as before.1:1 dynamic preview.Once edited and exported they are of course clear again.Where do you think the problem comes from?THANKS

Lightroom Classic v 14.0.1 was recently updated on my computer and now when trying to click on an image to export, it gives me the spinning wheel of death before saying "file could not be found" and ejecting my external hard drive. I tried to uninstall and reinstall an older version but the catalog had already been updated and was no longer compatible. I have removed some of the pictures that it seemed to freeze on to see if the image itself was corrupted - doesn't appear to make a difference. Other folders won't even open at this point. Currently on a Macbook Pro with Sonoma 14.6.1 using a Seagate hard drive.  Help!! It's peak season and I essentially can't do my job.

Hi, Basic one, this - but I just can't figurte it out.  So I do corrections to one image and wish to apply across several.  Somehow, shift + clicking is only resulting in one image being corrected.  Huh? DC   {Thread renamed by moderator}  

I am trying to create a color profile in LightRoom Classic using the X-rite Colorchecker target and the workflow in LrC. But whe I get an error message "Profile Cannot be Created".  I am directed to a help link, but it produces a 404 error message! I have the photo of the target, cropped (I've tried many), and use the File>Export with Preset> Colorchecker Profile. Help will be gratefully appreciated.

You can see when the folder sturcture initally expands for 2024, it only displays a few folders.  I have to condense and reopen 2024 to gain access to all the folders.   This has been an issue in prior versions and is still an issue in the most recent Lightroom Classic update.  

I've experienced repeated crashes of Lightroom Classic. At first I thought they were caused by updating to 14.0. I updated to 14.01, but still experiened crashes. I tried the usual fixes - uninstalling and reinstalling, then deleting preferences, but that did not fix the issue. I tried opening a different catalog, and that worked fine, so I figured the catalog was corrupted. So I reverted to 13.5.1, with the previous catalog, and everything worked fine for awhile. But then it crashed, and again I experienced repeated crashes. In these cases Lightroom would only stay open for, at best, 30 seconds before crashing again, while I was just doing simple things like browsing through images.   In both cases - with 14.0, and 13.5.1 - the issues begain when I added images to a synced collection. After further investigation, I've narrowed it down to two files that cause this issue. Both are DNGs created with the Panorama Merge, which I subsequently (after merging) ran through Denoise. This i

After updating to LrC 14.0.1 the copy settings from picture to another pictures is not working as before. When I try this options many times do now work, to get it to work I have to either use the Sync option or to hit copy, unselect settings, select again the settings and then paste in the other picture or pictures.

I have a vexing issue to deal with. I was asked to make some enhancements to a portrait (taken by somneone else) The model is happy with the edits except for her lip colour. She has gone to the extreme of providing a jpg image with the color she wants. My issue is using LR, I can't replicate the colour and thoughts on how I can use the color in the attached image to be the same as her lip color? 

 I just purchased Lr+Ps and cant install them in my mac !! I must admit that I used a non-registered Ps before, but I´ve deleted Lulu and everything to use the original   Please help, web version isnt the same.

My (very) old laptop is on its last legs, so I've taken the plunge and bought myself a shiny new i7 ThinkPad. I've managed to re-install all my apps apart from Lightroom. I have the original installation CD and the product is registered to my Adobe account. However, Adobe doesn't provide any live download links and the new laptop (predictably) doesn't have an optical drive. I'm loathed to download links from obscure websites I've never seen before. When I bought LR6, it was a one-off cost north of £100 for a 'lifetime' licence. I'm not inclined to start paying a monthly cost for something I've already bought a lifetime licence for. The Adobe support chatbot was worse than useless - is there a real human that can help?

How long should a Lightroom Catalog Update take? Mine has been 'frozen' since about 10 hours ago when I started it with no progress showing, however I can see in file folder that it created a temporary repaired catalog file that is growing in size but if that has to match my original catalog size I am thinking this would take literal days to update, the original catalog size is around 7gb. Is it safe to cancel and try it again with that file building or should I just leave it?

After updating to LrC 14 & Photoshop 2025 my desktop freezes whilst working in these apps. At this moment both applications to me. Since Photoshop 4 & LrC 5 i have been working with these apps but this is new to me. Can it be fixed?   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

   I am having this clipping issues ONLY when I upload to social sites. It does not look this way on my computer or phone but as soon as it uploads I can see the color shift and blotches enhance. I have tried every single color profile, turned all sharpening luminous and defringe down or off completely. And even exported in several different sizes, ranging from 4200 on the long side, down to 909 as one page recommended. Ive exported in 300, 240 and 72 ppi and jpeg and png. Nothing seems to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?
