Hallo zusammen, ich habe seit einigen Tagen das Problem, dass sich kein Katalog mehr öffnen lässt. Egal auf welchem Wege ich es auch versuche. Habe Lightroom auch schon deinstalliert und neu installiert, es tritt keine Besserung ein. Ich nutze die aktuellest Version von Lightroom auf einem Windows PC. Ich hatte einen Fotoauftrag abgeschlossen und wollte einen bereits erstellten Katalog eines anderen Auftrags öffnen. Es kam der übliche Banner auf dem Desktop, dass der Katalog geöffnet wird, aber nichts passierte. Keine Fehlermeldung, kein Hinweis. Ich habe den PC neu gestartet und nochmal probiert den Katalog zu öffnen, wieder das gleiche.Dann habe ich probiert einen anderen Katalog zu öffnen, auch hier kam nur der Banner, dass der vorherige Katalog versucht wird zu öffnen. Das habe ich jetzt seit drei Tagen, es ändert sich nichts an dem Zustand.Ich habe Lightroom mittlerweile auf einem anderen PC installiert, um den Auftrag zu bearbeiten, aber es ist nicht mein PC.Gibts

Hello brains trust,Re Windows 11. Lightroom Classic.I upgraded (I assume form v13-3) to v13-5.1 and when i opened it, it said i had the following error: 'Local Sync database damaged' and told me how to fix it..... well i did as instructed - https://helpx.adobe.com/au/lightroom-classic/kb/local-sync-database.html?trackingid=W6K8JK3M&mv=in-product - and when i re opened lightroom classic i now dont have any of my catalogue folders and drives in the library. It also is now syncing my icloud (iphone photos), which it has never done before, and it will take forever, its about half way and has been going for a few hours now.All the 'collections' i had seem to be synced, and when i click on an image in the collections and then click 'go to folder in library' (from one of the collection photos) it takes me to a Folder called 'Other Lightroom Device' and sub folder 'Imported Photos'. Did not have this folder listed on previous version, and all of the collection photos came from the previous

In lightroom classic for my surface studio, tap-and-hold for right click does not work. Works just fine everywhere else, like in browsers and in photoshop, just not Lightroom. Anyone known what could be causing this?

How do I delete duplicate preset brushes? There are hundreds of them.

At some point I tried setting up a sync from Lightroom Classic (13.5.1), only to shown a message that I can only sync with one catalog. Apparently I set up sync before, but totally forgot about that. I cancelled syncing the new catalog.When I now start LR from the catalog that I tried to sync, the same error message keeps popping up. When I click "cancel" it shows an animated help which turns off sync in the top right. But it will happen again each time I open the catalog. I cannot find a way to permanently disable this attemped sync. How can I fix this?In the meantime I already deleted the mentioned "catalog.lrcat", but the message remains.  

Currently trying to backup my existing external hard drive that I used to store all my LR stuff to a secondary hard drive for safekeeping and it keeps failing.  Error message reads as such:“The finder cannot complete the operation because some data in “AMW_Lightroom Catalog 2-v12 Previews.lrdata can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)”This is my current active catalog that I have been working off of with no problems so I do not understand where the problem is coming from. currently working on a newer MacBook Pro.The file tagged with the yellow dot is the one that keeps failing. 

HEllo!I am hoping that someone could help me with my LIghtroom Classic problem.  Last week, I was unable to open  Lightroom on my windows computer.  It would twirl around and then stop.  SOmehow or another we got it to open but it seemed clunky and slow but I was happy to be using it.  My folders were not all present but everytime I tried to move them from my back up drive, it would say the files were already there.  My frustration mounted but I decided to edit some photos for a wedding video that I am doing. I neede to crop some of the photos but as I was doing that, I got a message to delete files from the C drive.  Lightroom would not let me do anything else...even close it out.  We deleted files from C drive and it sorta worked but not as usual.  I thought I should go back to Catalog 13.3 and see if that would open correctly and my folders return so that I could see them.  I was (am) thinking that one issues is the catalog and the h

Hi,   I am using LR CC and I created the Smugmug connection to upload pictures.  Is there a setting to upload pictures in full res to Smugmug directly from LR CC?  My files are being being published at a much lower res.    Thanks,

why cant i import these .RAW files shot on my new panasonic GH7 to lightroom? i get the following error messages, i don't understand as i never had an issue importing raw to lightroom before when shot on my GH5

Bonjour, j'ai un bug avec mon Lightroom, mes fichiers sont tous présents mais je ne peux plus voir de quoi ils ont l'air sauf quand je clique dessus. Une fois cliqué, ils restent visibles, mais pas plus de 4 ou 5 fichiers à ;a fois. Quand je clque pour visualiser un autre fichier, ils se remettent en gris comme sur l'image. HOLA! Tengo porblemas al abrir mi catalogo de lightroom. Me dice que esta corrupto, le doy a reparar y me dice que no se puede.   ayuda por favoooor!! Tengo una boda editada casi entera en ese catalogo, necesito poder exportarla en JPG por lo menos para no tener que hacer de nuevo tooodo el trabajo! GRACIAS!

Hi all,I've been using Lightroom Classic on my new PC for a while, but have the following problem:  First, everything worked fine - but soon the problems started when Lightroom wouldn't open for some time and I had to click the shortcut multiple times for it to happen. This went on for a while, but then all of a sudden, Lightroom did not open anymore at all. I would click to open it, the cursor would show a loading circle for a while and then absolutely nothing happens (in the taskmanager Lightroom is listed as a background process multiple times). I tried to reset preferences when opening with ctrl+alt, which allowed me to open one of two catalogues that I had (Catalogue A) - but it is completely empty. Then I tried to open the other one (Catalogue B) from within Lightroom and said to restart - a black pop-up would appear roughly saying "opening catalogue A.lrcat" - but it would just stay there forever and nothing happens. So I closed the software again, and re-startet again

Hello, Until now I only use the Lightroom Version. Now I want to change to Lightroom Classic. How can I export and import my own Presets to Lightroom Classic? Best regards Kim 

Lightroom Classic 12.5, Windows 11 Pro My Previews.lrdata "file" seems abnormally large. I had Lightroom delete any Smart Previews that might be lurking.  I believe it found 72, and they're gone.I did the same thing with 1:1 previews, so they're gone. A search in the previews file shows around 250,000 preview files (standard?), which is 2 - 3 times the number of images in the catalog, about 70,000 of which haven't been updated since 2020. Is there some intelligent way to remove old standard previews and other junk in the previews file rather than deleting the whole thing and making Lightroom start over?I presume Lightroom always deletes any previews associated with a file it deletes, but is there a way to check or have Lightroom check that orphan previews DON'T exist in the catalog - and delete any that are there?

For the last month this error is recurring with only one of my catalogues. The only solution has been reopening the catalog from a catalog backup file.Even so, some days later it happens again, and again. The other catalog I work with is fine.Can you please help me?

Hola: No se como etiquetar varias fotografías a la vez, es decir seleccionar varias y etiquetarlas con un solo toque a la etiqueta en lugar de una en una, me parece una perdida de tiempo innecesaria tener que hacerlo de una en una y seguro que hay una forma que yo no soy capaz de encontrar. Hi Guys, Im using the latest Lightroom Classic, and I've had the same problem with tthe previous editions. When I scroll trough my images in Lightroom, either Library or Develop mode the image starts out sharp, then a second later it get a bit blurry and stays like that. When I zoom in it shows a perfectly sharp image, but when zoomed out it stays a but out of focus.  I'm using a BenQ monitor together with a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019) and I've had this problem for about a year, before that there were no issues. Looking forward to your tips:) Stijn  

I uploaded my photos to LR and they were fine but then I remembered I have to use LR Classic to be able to export multiple images to Photoshop for focus stacking.  So I then used the same flash card and uploaded to LR Classic but the images are blurry.  Can anyone explain this?  I wish I only had to to learn to use adobe not how to constantly fix it! 

Unable to post cropped images to IG so I have decreased the scale using the uncropped image, a white border is produced around a smaller image and am then able to successfully post to IG.  Have been doing this for years without a problem.Did this yesterday and this is what resulted. 

I lost all of my edits on images placed in my synced collections in Lightroom Classic. I've checked periodic backups going back years and none of those backups contain the edits I made. The images are there, but the edits are gone so the images just look like they did straight out of my scanner. I tried opening up other catalogs on my system (there were several catalogs, not sure if that's normal). The different catalogs had different combinations of images (some were older so didn't contain the newest ones), but none contained the edits I'd made. I know for a fact that I made these edits because I exported some of those as JPGs and I can see that they are different than the raw versions (even in the edited versions, the edits aren't saved into the file itself, so in lightroom they show up as unedited photos). I'm on the PC that I first edited the photos on and nothing about it has changed. Still the same hardware. Is there anything I'm missing here? I'm not sure what happened to my da
