dodgy copy of lightroom 6.5?

i have recently bought a sealed copy of lightroom in a sleeve(not box)which will not install from disc.

I managed to download lightroom from a link on another website but when i enter the licence number that came with my disc it says it is invalid.

Does this mean it's a fraudulent copy?
