Question

How do I save my photo album settings of LRCC to my local drive like the older version catalog?

After updating my LRCC and started a new catalog with all my edits in it, I could not locate the catalog setting for the album. And realised the whole album now is in the cloud? And where can I download the setting from the cloud (LRCC)?

Tks

Could you explain what you mean by "catalog setting for the album"? Yes, the "catalog" is held in the cloud, though there is also a local copy of it, but I'm unclear what exactly you are wanting to download. Can you clarify?

    Hi Jim,

In the earlier LR version which I suppose the current Classic version, user are prompt to create a catalog and import photos which allow us to edit at later stage. This catalog contain also the edit settings for this batch of photos.

Where can I find them in the current LRCC?

    Thanks.

In the Share icon in the upper right corner you will find the option to export original + settings. This is how you get the edit settings out of Lightroom.
Lightroom stores everything in the cloud, originals, catalog and settings. If this isn't what you want, you should use Lightroom Classic instead.
