hi everyone, I decided to recently migrate from Apple Photos to Lightroom CC yesterday, selecting the "Migrate From Apple Photos Library" option. My Apple Photos library is 265GB. I didn't have an option to do this migration locally, so have started the process for the cloud storage after upgrading my Adobe plan. It's doing the migration now, and gave me a report saying: Size of Valid Assets : 140746347025 (140GB).What happened to my other 125 GB???  I think that means almost 1/2 of my media is not getting transferred? Can someone help me understand this, and if there's a way to determine what was not transferred? After the migration is complete, are the images removed automatically from Apple Photos? If yes, maybe it'd be easy to see what wasn't copied... otherwise, I have no idea how I'd know.   

just upgraded to LR from PS elements on Mac. My keywords didn't transfer... saw a post online about importing, but must have been an older version, as that option isn't here. also - when i tried to bring in all 50K pictures on my hard drive, LR told me I'm puot of space and can't... any help?

I use LR Classic exclusively for importing photos, and creating synced collections. I use LR on iPad strictly for viewing these synced collections. Sometimes I will add a new photo to a synced collection from LRC and maybe it shows up in LR for iPad but frequently it doesn't. If it doesn't show up on iPad, the only way I have found to get it to show up is to go to my desktop (a Mac) , quit LRC and restart it. After that the newly synced photo(s) will show up on LR for iPad. I keep my software up to date on all my devices. This has been happening REGULARLY for years (as long as I can remember). Is it possible to force LR on iPad to show the newly synced photos so I don't have to quit and restart LRC?

Hallo,seit heute Abend habe ich das Problem, dass ich sowohl bei jetzt neu erstellten als auch bei bereits gesetzten Radialverlaufsfiltern weder die Größe noch die Position verändern kann. Heute Mittag hatte ich ein Update von Camera Raw auf die Version v 16.4 machen müssen, da ich ein Bild, welches in LR geöffnet war, in PS bearbeiten wollte. Dabei hieß es, dass ich vorher auf Camera Raw v 16.4 aktualisieren müsste. Dies habe ich gemacht. Nun musste ich oben beschriebenen Fehler feststellen.Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Problematik mit diesem Update zusammenhängt. Allerdings habe ich im Netz hierzu nichts gefunden... ich gehen jedoch nicht davon aus, dass dieses Problem nur mich betrifft. Das Update haben sicherlich mehrere Menschen durchführen müssen. Liegt es dann doch nicht an dem Update?Woran könnte es liegen? Wie behebe ich mein Problem? Bitte alle Lösungsansätze möglichst einfach und Schritt für Schritt erklären. Besten Dank.Katrin

Updated my phone last night and all my presets are gone, has anyone else had this issue? had 100s and absolutely devastated they're all gone 

Starting in June the iphone photos that I import into lightroom mobile will not upload to the cloud.  I can import photos and edit them, but they do not show up in the cloud when I open Lightroom for the web or Lighroom on my desktop (I'm not attempting to do any syncing with Lightroom classic, this is purely between the cloud based versions of lightroom).  When I open lightroom on the web, I see that the latest photos are all listed under sync issues.  It tells me to open lightroom on my phone to upload them. Lightroom is open on my phone and I have pressed the manual upload button on each image, but they still just spin and do not upload. I am on the latest version of all apps. I'm not sure what to do to get these photos to upload to the cloud. Help appreciated.

Kann in LR keine Bilder mehr sehen nur noch grauen Fläche.

hallo! ich kann auf viele meiner raw files nicht zugreifen. immer wenn ich bilder ai entrauschen will oder das bearbeitete bild exportieren will kommt diese meldung: "einige bilder konnten nicht in der angegebenen grässe exportiert werden, da auf das original in voller grässe nicht zugegriffen werden kann.."es ist nur eine qualitätsreduzierte vorschau verfügbar. was soll das? sind meine raws verloren oder was? ich kann das bearbeitete bild (ohne ai entrauschen, weil das da nicht existiert) von der online variante downloaden aber nicht in voller grösse. in der lightroom app geht es gar nicht. bisher konnte mir bei diesem schwerwiegendem problem niemand helfen. 

Hello.I have a series of photos of relatives and find it hard to get one there everyone is looking at the camera at the same time. Is there a way to change the eye diraction in Lightroom so it looks like a person is looking at the camera? Or do i need to buy and edit it in Photoshop?Thank you.

I tried ot upload a big photo library via older computer to Lightroom CC and the entire process failed. Now I am stuck with more than 100K photos in "Sync Issues" folder on the web browser version of Lightroom. There appears no way to simply press "delete all" and deleting these photos on the slow and clunky web version is taking forever because the web browser version keep crashing every time I try to delete larger number of these photos. How can I clear out all these failed sync photos? My new faster computer is not pushing any photos to the cloud and is not able to sync - I think it is because of the large number of failed syncs from that other batch. 

Mac OS Sequoia 15.3, Lightroom version 8.1 When I Select "Edit in Photoshop" both choices "Edit in Photoshop" and "Open as a Smart Object in Photoshop" will open as a Smart Object.  Edit in Photoshop should not open as aSmart Object.

Er zijn veel Youtube video's beschikbaar hoe je bijvoorbeeld een catalogus of individuele foto's kunt exporteren naar een externe harde schijf. Alle exports lijken binnen de Lightroom omgeving te blijven. Ik wil de mappenstructuur van Lightroom terugzien op mijn externe harde schijf, dus in de verkenner (explorer). Ik kan wel alle foto's in 1x exporteren, maar dan heb ik de mapppenstructuur niet meer. Exporteren van mappen en foto's vanuit Lightroom moet toch mogelijk zijn? Ik wil een back-up op mijn externe schijf hebben. 

Hi,All my lightroom photos are gone after switching to different phone. Were they not suppose to be backed up to the could? I have a paid version of the app.

I'm editing on both an M1 MacBook Air and an M1 iMac. Both display HDR properly in the Lightroom app, but once exported, the lighting is not as intense--highlights are dimmed. I've tried exporting in AVIF and JPEG XL, with all available color spaces, with no result. I've tried viewing the images in Preview, Safari, Chrome, and Photos, but they all look identical, i.e. a little too dim. HDR Output is selected while exporting. A notice displays while exporting that "HDR is not visible in this preview," and the preview looks VERY dim, even dimmer than the final exported photos. I've attached a screenshot here. Obviously the colors don't look like they do in real view, but you can see there's a difference. Left is the Lightroom app, right is the exported photo.   Everything I've read online leads me to believe that MacOS Sonoma should be able to display HDR properly. Does anyone know why they are not exporting properly?

In mijn lightroom app lukt het me niet de premium functies vrij te krijgen. De optie om in je account te resetten wordt bij mij niet gegeven? Iemand enig idee hoe ik dit kan oplossen?

I finished editing 104 photos in Lightroom but its not letting me save the files anywhere. I treied the export and nothing happens, tried save locally and nothing happens. I can't figure out how to save and access them. Didn't realize it wasn't the classic until it was too late.  Any help would be appreciated. 

the program keeps crashing and failing  it started doing this about a week ago, and it is making it very difficult to get any work done. i have reported the issue several; times in crash reports and still having problems. i have re-installed the program, and tried to re-install an older version. nothing seems to help. the pic attached is a screen shot of what happens when the program crashes. editing the colors or light on the photo causes this to happen to the photo, then the program crashes. crashing and

Can anyone help me to get my pervious data on mobile phone

Hi!  Due to airplane weight restrictions I need to use my Ipad (M1 Pro with 2TB storage) as my device to view and backup my photos while on a trip.  I'm a wildlife photographer so I may take many hundreds or even thousands of photos in 1 session.  I will be backing up photos from the card via Files onto the Ipad storage.  Then I would like to import them into Lightroom Mobile on Ipad so that I can view them properly.  The problem is that the import from Files is extremely slow: it takes about half hour for each 1000 photos (from 45MP camera - raw photos).  On my Macbook it takes seconds or maybe a minute.  Is this normal or is there something I can do to speed it up?PS 1: In case it's relevant,  I do not want to sync via Cloud - the volumes I work with are too large and the internet connections where I will be would anyway not allow it.      PS 2: due to the impaired way iPadOS handles files I do not want to import straight to LR a
