Lightroom updated to where when you try to import and plug in your camera, it asks for permission for you camera. I didnt know what it was so I denied it and now it wont access my camera! How do I find how to grant access now? Really annoying to add that extra step in for no reason.  This is for DSLR camera, it isnt showing up on my privacy and settings but it shows up on image capture. Im unsure whats going on and really need the help to be able to import again! Thank you

good morning! I would like to know how to export a group of presets on an Android device. On iOS this is possible, but on Android there is no option to export groups of presets. I know this is possible, as there is a competitor of mine that provides groups of presets in .xml this way, but I can't find how to do this!

I exported some TIF photos locally to Cloud and edited them in both Lightroom Desktop Cloud and Lightroom Mobile for iPad.  After editing them, I clicked archive album locally...saved them back to the original local folder and selected the option to replace existing files.  Lightroom Desktop exported the TIF files to the local folder, deleting existing files and removed the Cloud Album and moved the TIF files to the deleted folder.   When I opened the exported TIF files in the local folder, it exported the original files that I imported WITHOUT the edits.  Is this the way this feature is supposed to work?  I would have expected it to archive an edited file or the original file with edits, as I understand it, Lightroom can export a TIF file with orginal file and the edits.  If not for the fact that Lightroom moved the edited files to the deleted folder so I was able to restore them back, I would have lost all my edits.    Please advise.  An a

Yo, Can you blur a license plate or face in LR?

I have been using Lightroom mobile on my ipad for years and photoshop as well. A feature i like is using the "edit in photoshop feature" when i am Lightroom.  It seems to have disappeared. Advice anyone? I have the basic subscription. I have an IPad Pro 11 third generation. Advice please.  I use this feature. I am travelling and not able to access my computer. 

have light room 8.1 can"t adjust the zoom level of just one thumb nail withot the program auto changing the remaining zoom size of all the other pics in that albu to the new pics zoom level.  

All the edits l have made are in the "Recent Edits" folder and l can't remove them. Also Lightroom keeps rearrainging my photos after an edit..... Help

Hallo,seit dem letzten Update (mit der KI Leiste) sieht man im normalen Barbeitungsfenster das Bild nicht mehr ganz.Es zentriert sich nicht in die Mitte der Arbeitsfläche. Erst wenn ich die Bearbeitungsleiste schließe, sehe ich das Bild im Vollbildmodus.Vor der KI Leiste hat sich das Bild immer mittig im Arbeitsbereich zentriert. Da ist sehr nervig, da man nur einen Teil des Bildes sieht. Verkleinere ich das Bild mit (command -) ist es dann zu klein.Mit der Bitte um Anpassung.Freundliche GrüsseStefan Donner

Good day,  hopefully someone can assist.My Lightroom crashes as soon as it is open, or a few seconds afterwards.  I have turned the GPU accelerator off, I have uninstalled and re-installed it, I have run a diagnostic tool on my RAM and all my apps are up to date, including Lightroom.  It has been doing this for a few months now, but is worse the last month. I have seen a few suggestions for settings in Lightroom, but most of the time I cannot navigate in Lightroom because it crashes so quickly.

I"m a long time LR Classic user but I've been away from it for a couple of years.  Looking to jump back in with both feet, including a computer upgrade.  I might switch to LR Ecosystem. Big question:  what are hardware requirements between Classic and Desktop Cloud Mode?  Also, are there any workarounds for making full use of Sensei image seach in Classic?  I'm actually toying with the idea of copying .jpgs of entire library into a folder outside of LR just to enable access to the more robust AI search tools in iOS Photos or Google -- using that folder has a look up to direct me to the full res image from LR.    Any advice would be greatly appreciated  - Frank

I recently got an iPad and when I open my lightroom app in it to edit, the only presets that appear are my mobile ones. I am trying to instal my desktop presets onto my iPad so that I can do my editing on the go, rather than bringing my laptop (where my current desktop presets are). When I click "manage presets" on my iPad, there is no option to "import presets"- rather there is only an option to "create preset" from an existing image (the way that you would install a mobile preset on LR mobile. I am wondering if I have the wrong LR installed on my iPad or if there is even an option to have desktop presets on my iPad lightroom? The desktop presets that I am trying to import into my lightroom on my iPad are .xmp files. Thank you in advance for any guidance. 

why can't I see the option to round trip from Lightroom mobile to photoshop on my iPad.   My apps are up to date.   Is there some specific setting that needs to be set?  It is driving me nuts as all the videos on round trip processing never mention what's to do if you don't see the option.

hi. i got a gh5 and i'm trying to import 10 bit 422 videos from it into lightroom mobile.until now, i've been able to import 8 bit 420 from another camera or from my phone and they load fine and i can edit them (in lightroom mobile), but now when trying 10 bit it says "video failed to import".opening in vlc app, it plays well, so it's not that the phone can't display 10 bit videos. here are two samples, one recorded in mov and one in mp4. they're both 10 bit 422 and have rec709 colorspace.i am referring strictly to lightroom mobile on android, not lightroom on pc. here is the link with the files:https://we.tl/t-jXIuGcDeMp 

making a curves adjustment on any photo crashes lightroom

I've recently updated my lightroom phone app and it is now not allowing me to add any photos from my phone to lightroom for editing. It appears this is due to cloud storage being full however I don't want to save to cloud storage and can't work through why this has only became an issue since the app update. Can I return to my previous settings and turn off cloud storage or is this a trick feature so I have to pay for more storage.  I have ample space on my phone and I'm only using this for quick personal edits so I'm not wanting to upgrade storage or have to sort through 20GB of images.Is there any other solution to avoid have this icloud storage issue!

In some conditions, when you check a box in the panorama merge preview window this causes a failed render, there is no way to reset the checkbox or other settings and go back to a functioning state of the preview. Steps to repro:1. Three photo merge using "Panorama merge" for photos that are to create a vertical panorama2. Once the initial preview shows, enable "Fill edges" (for example)3. The new preview fails after showing briefly, with the message "Unable to merge selected photos"4. There is no way to dismiss this message except for cancelling. It is not possible to uncheck any box or change the projection. I also don't know why it's failing when the preview looks good for a split second. Expected result: Either allow me to confirm I'm happy with the preview (which looks ok) or somehow revert the settings and try something different. Video attached once it is in a broken state as I can't show the initial steps due to the bug. Buongiorno, non riesco più a importare file in lightroom. Cercando di importare i file dalla fotocamera come ho sempre fatto in formato .NEF, ora mi dice " formato file non modificabile" e mi compare elenco dei file che ho provato a importare. Come posso risolvere? Grazie 

In LR Classic (or LR CC; it doesn’t matter which desktop version of LR I’m using) in the Development module I select a profile from the Camera Matching group (it doesn't matter which profile, the problem is always the same) as a starting point for my editing. After editing the photo completely I synchronize the photo to Lightroom. If I look at it in LR Mobile (it doesn’t matter if I use Android or iOS, the problem is the same) in Grid view then everything looks great and in the same way as in LR Classic. But as soon as I wanna start to edit it in LR mobile the color changes and the photo looks quite different then before. I shoot with a Nikon Z8 in RAW mode and I never had that problem with my older Nikon D800. I also checked the installed Profiles on LR Mobile and the Profile group Camera Matching with all its profiles is there and they have the same name as in LR Classic. Not compatible versions of Lightroom, new versions are not Not compatible for windows 10. Previous versions worked good, now not posible to install previous version and new versions are not posible to install. Please write what I can do. Previous was same wuith photoshop and you fixed it through 2 monthes Photoshop started to work after this bug, thanks, even we still payed for not working versions now same with Lightroom please fix it
