Questions

The location data on photos taken with Iphone and viewed in Photo app, always show not only the city/country, etc but the actual site name. In other words, it provides greater detail on the location. When photo has been imported to Lightroom, the GPS  data only shows City/State/Country. It does not include that detailed last piece that can be seen in Photos. And I will be asked how I'm importing photos. I typically download what I want from Photos to a new folder on my External drive where all of my photos are and then import into LR. Any tips much appreciated.

I am looking on my images on my iPad one day and when all the image thumbnails populate the screen, they all have the meta data over the top of each thumbnail. I have no idea how I turned this on. All I want to know is how do I turn it off. Many thanks,Houston

I imported wedding photos over a month ago and was editing them... a couple weeks later, over half of them were gone.  I then learned about "sync issues" and discovered they got moved to that area and I don't have the photos to reimport anymore because I assumed they'd go into the cloud since I pay for extra storage and they'd eventually sync properly. I've never had this issue until now. Is there any hope for retrieving these images? there's over 7k photos of mine in "sync issues" and I don't understand why. Cause I sure didn't put them there. 

When i open a photo to edit a can't edit it and show a massage "Failed to load development version" all my recent photos show the same massage and can't edit or save them local 

I'm genuinely impressed with how much of a downgrade the latest updates to Photoshop and Lightroom are. Adobe constantly insists on ruining their own products but I've never experienced it quite to this degree. When I hover over my presets in Lightroom it now constantly glitches out. When I click a preset and then slide the effect amount slider to 0 the photo is still drastically changed from before I clicked it. With every update the programs we all used to love just get worse and worse. Good thing Figma, Davinci Resolve, etc are now all available without these glitches. Going to talk to my boss next week about getting our marketing team switched over.

I've been using LightRoom for years (Lightroom CC). But now, when I go into LR, none of the tools are available, i.e., (not sure what they're called): the circle, ellipse, etc., etc. I can't do any work on an image.

Help-I've uploaded the new Version of Lightroom and I uploaded new photos and started to Edit, to my dismay I've noticed that the editing I've done has not saved and for the life of me I cannot figure out why.  When I export my Photos is so clear that none of my editing was saved ... I'm going crazy can someone please help ... thank you

As Google tells me I was looking for a my photo folder but I was not able to find it either.  

hallo,I have recently had the problem that no more photos are being uploaded from my iphone or ipad. They run into a synchronization error. Lightroom mobile loads and loads and loads. Only when I make a change and then force the update load is the image uploaded. But only the one. I can't always do this for many pictures. It used to work without any problems. What could be the problem?I really don't know what to do.

Hallo,ich filtere in meinen Alben und gebe in der Suche den Dateinamen ein. Die Suche findet aber nur maximal 2 Bilder. Ich möchte aber weit aus mehr Bilder mit dieser Funktion filtern.Wieso ist das auf 2 Bilder beschränkt? Kann jemand helfen? Beste GrüßeHaakon    

Hi everyone,I usually shoot RAW file only, and I am new to Lightroom. Recently I'm confused about Lightroom cloud storage. I want to rate my photos using my iPad, so I need to upload my photos on my laptop. I didn’t shoot JPG files, but the 20GB cloud storage space can’t hold many RAW files.I tried to export JPG files in Lightroom Classic, then upload these JPG files to Lightroom. This save a lot of space, but when I finish rating these photos, I find it hard (or maybe impossible?) to relink to my original RAW files.What is the recommanded workflow of shooting on RAW and rating them on remote devices? I do not need a RAW quality for just rating a photo. So I think it's meaningless to upload all my RAW files. Can Lightroom only upload preview quality files of my photos?

Além disso eu estou tendo que editar as fotografias individualmente porque o lightrrom di<z que eu tenho que atualizar a máscara da inteligência artificial o tempo todo durante a edição. I've been using Lightroom on my phone for years and I have just noticed that since the start of this year, the only photos in the cloud for 2024 (and therefore accessible on the web or on my laptop) are those that I have actively edited or added to an album. Most photos on my device, even if they are in my Lightroom library in Android, don't even have a manual upload to cloud option on them. But if I just click the 'edit' button and then close them again, they are uploaded. This is really irritating behaviour - I want all my photos to sync to the cloud automatically like they used to. If I hadn't noticed, I may have purged a load of photos  from my device to free up space and lost them forever. Is this a bug or is this now happening by design?

How can you step back just the last one or two adjustments or more in LR when making multiple adjustment, say with the clone tool. I do not want to delete all adjustmnents just the last few of many that I have made.

When i have the photo open in lightroom on my tablet, the sidebar opens onto the photo.I can not edit the part i don't see.How does that work?What to do?

I absolutely love the ability to finally use Lightroom offline. It might be what finally allows me to move away from Classic and to the new versoin fully.One thing I don't understand is why if you want to save a copy locally from whats already in the cloud, it only archives and removes it from the cloud.For example, if I import a shoot to my iPad, its going to upload them and I am going to be able to edit them. When I get to my desktop I want to pull them down locally so I have my own copies and right now that requires me to archive them out of the cloud,  save them locally, and then go to local, and re-upload a copy to the cloud. It seems like it would be much easier if alonside the option of archive (for when you want to pull them out) there was a "save a local copy" so I can pull them down to my desktop but leave them in the cloud.Ultimately what I would love is for none of them to need to be saved in the cloud and that its only used to sync across my devices locally, but I kno

Hello, got problem with saving photos on my phone. However, the saved (or either screenshot version) is not the photo I make in LR. I'm not surr is that some hdr problem, or i just don't know to do something here (from two weeks ago)?

So I'm unsure if this is due to computer settings, my camera quality, or lightroom settings.  For context, here is what my equipment is:Camera - Canon EOS2000DLenses - Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III & Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IIIOriginal Monitors - Qnix 2710New Monitor (replaced one that burnt out) - Acer Nitro XV282K V3bmiiprxGPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti I haven't done any editing since acquiring this new monitor because I moved across the country. But looking at old and new photos on both monitors shows a dramatic difference in Pixelization/Graininess. Settings for the following photos:  On the 2k Screen: 4K Monitor  These images don't even do justice to how bad the pixelization is on 4 K compared to 2 K.Has anyone else experienced this when switching from editing on a 2k to 4k? Hello,I am hoping someone can help me with a critical issue - all my files have disappeared from my Creative Cloud storage! For a while I have used the following workflow which worked well. I uploaded photos from my iPhone to the Lightroom mobile app where I edited them. The files then synced with Creative Cloud where I could access them on other devices such as my MacBook. There was no local copy created on the MacBook as I considered them secure in the cloud. However, I was recently automatically logged out of the app and, when I logged back in, I found that all the my photos and albums had disappeared. Cloud storage is showing as 0MB in the app, and when I access Creative Cloud through the web, there are zero files and no deleted files.  My account is an enterprise account and I have looked at both enterprise and personal profiles. Please help! I had about 17,000 photos stored in the cloud and they have all disappeared. Can someone from Adobe please hel

I have just bought photoshop and lightroom, and they say my operating system is invalid and wont let me download the apps. but it meets the system requierments and iv used photoshop on this computer before.i have also updated my drivers and computer and that didnt work.

Hello! My office has been searching for ways to more efficiently store and organize our many photo files. I have been adding photos in batches into Lightroom Classic and syncing to the Cloud.  However, I have not seen a way to easily share all of the photos we have on Lightroom Cloud office wide. I know that albums can be shared with individuals, but, ideally, we want for all staff to be able to access all photos in Lightroom. We are a team of 28 and they will all need access.  Is that a possibility with Lightroom? Or are we better off looking at other solutions.
