Questions

I can no longer import videos from an SD card in Lightroom Mobile on my iPad. I’m running Lightroom version 9.1.0 on iPad OS 17.2. I am able to import photos from a connected SD card, but the videos on the SD card don't even show up. Can anyone help with suggestions on how can I import photos & videos together again via the Lightroom Mobile app from an SD card? I have a workaround, but it requires downloading all files onto my iPad prior to importing into Lightroom. I was last able to do a combined photo/video import from an SD card in late November 2023.   Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm running into dead ends with Adobe support. Thanks! 

Moving film strip to either left or right side of Lightroom CC layout. Is that possible or am I stuck with it on the bottom and can not move?

hey, this is my first time posting so idk if this is the right place to post but I thought id put this on here. I've been doing photography for over 2 years now so I know how to use Lightroom quite well but there's one thing I've never figured out, so I download my photos of SD cards (the proper san disk ones, the best you can get I think) and on a few of my pictures they don't show up and it's just a white background with weird pink lines, I've got no idea what this is and my cameras not to old, and sd cards are all pretty new and it happens on all my sd cards, should I buy a new sd card converter maybe?? I'm editing photos taken back in 2005 and for each photo I'm getting "Legacy Settings: This photo contains settings that need to be updated before it can be edited.  Note that this may cause visible changes to the photo."  Rather than doing this one at a time to 1000s of photos, is there a was to perform that update  on large batches of photos? 

I have a Mac with a small HD, is there any way I can use the cloud to edit and store images, without using any Mac HD space    

Hi,    in my private account, I managed to work with Lightroom CC perfectly.  But in May I started a new job and for that account, on my business laptop I fail to see my local folders as well as a album I created on the mobile app.  Any advice, what the problem could be?   Thanks!

As you can see on the attached video, toggling masks visibility behaves badly, when GPU acceleration is disabled. (and I have it disabled due to ongoing issue https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/choppiness-when-dragging-zoomed-in-photo-on-gpu/m-p/14631373#M91236). After clicking mask visibility toggle, the picture is not updated until I move the mouse over to the name of the mask.When toggling all masks visibility by pressing and holding the eye icon, picture is not updated immediately on the mouse press or release, and only on mouse move or another press/depress. This renders the exactly opposite effect (when mouse button is pressed down, masks are visible, when it's not pressed, masks are not visible). Small, but annoying issue.When GPU acceleration is enabled it works properly.

Mac OS Sonoma 14.5Lightroom 7.4.1 Im looking to move from LR C to LR I'm looking to cull a great deal of my images and in essence start again from scratch without migrating my catalogue. I've started to tidy my folders up that were date based within year to one folder with each years images in. I've tested this and on the folder that is now containing all the images from the year containing only about 30 images only one image is shown. There are no filters present and all the images are in the folder when using finder. Any ideas?

So I've been using Lightroom for many years and never encountered any issues like this but I've been having this issue lately and it's driving me nuts! I have looked for an answer on this community and Google but to no avail after trying many things... So what is happening is I edit my pictures how I like but then the picture becomes over exposed in the filmstrip and when I export the picture, in detail mode the picture is the way I want it. I made a test and opened the file from my cloud account into Lightroom on the web and the pictures is also overexposed on the web in detail mode, so I'm able to fix the over exposure on the web, which is giving an extra step for no reason as I should be able to do it all in the app. Attached are printscreen showing what I mean one for the app, one for preview and one for Lightroom web. So my question is how would I go about fixing this? Would uninstalling Lightroom fix the issue? The weirdest part is when I come back to the edited picture in the fl

I can't seem to find an easy way to backup and sync my entire photo library on Lightroom Cloud to an external local drive connected to my MacBook. Sometimes when I travel, there is poor internet, and Lightroom mobile is of no use. I then need to be able to access the photos from an external drive. Thanks for any help.

Hi,I've beem experimenting with HDR and noticed that it obviously produces better quality in highlights, when viewed on HDR screen.But, I've also noticed that it produces better quality in highlights on SDR display, in areas that are not clipping.In SDR mode highlights are loosing saturation, and I was not able to have them more saturated.But it can be helped using the following trick:* enable HDR mode (you'll see highlights are more saturated)* click edit the photo in Photoshop* in photoshop go to Image->Mode->16 bit (as it was 32-bits, because of HDR export from Lightroom)* select HDR toning method to "Exposure and Gamma"* OK, Save, CloseNow in Lightroom you will have a much nicer, more saturated highlights, in SDR mode.I was trying to achieve the same nicely saturated highlights using the original RAW file in SDR mode, but it's just impossible. I am trying to upload photos saved from photocircle into lightroom. The upload continues to fail and I have no idea what to do. The photos are JPEG, they are not anything that does not normally upload to lightroom. I am unsure of what could fix this issue and have no idea if its an issue with lightroom or photocircle.

Unfortunately the Lightroom Android App have erased all the pictures from my gallery without storing them in the deleted or trash folder of the phone/app.The employee from that chat told me,it not possible to recover them at all. How in the world can an app erase all the pictures from your phone without storing them at all????

Hi, I am working on the cloud based lightroom application. The AI Denoise stopped stacking the images even though the toggle is on. It worked perfectly fine on both my Mac and Windows Machine until the denoise dialogue crashed and I had to force a restart of Lightroom. Now it just ignores the toggle and shows both images in the filmstrip and other view options side by side. I already tried reinstalling both lightroom and creative cloud and even downgraded to 7.3. without any luck. Also I cannot manually stack the two images by selecting both and right clicking on them. The option to stack is greyed out.  I am on macOS 14.4.1 the Lightroom version is 7.4.1 

Hi, I'm exporting from my Lightroom (Mac, 7.4.1) library individual JPGs to be uploaded to a print service. I want to install their printer profiles (and have them show up as profiles in "Color Space" in the Export dialog.) I've searched and can only find how to do that for Lightroom Classic. Is it possible in Lightroom? Thanks!

When I go into settings on my iPad, it says that Lightroom (for tablet) is over 100GB. I have deleted over 7000 photos from the app thinking that would clear up space but it didn't. I turned on smart preview, so it wouldn't have originals downloaded. And I also went to another adobe app to see if any cloud files could be deleted, but I didn't find any. So I'm not sure why my app is over 100GB and would love help trying to get the app size down again!

I am using lightroom mobile, recently after editing my photo if i switch to library or another phot all my edits will be lost. I am using a Samsung S23 Ultra for my edits.Thank you

Working with 45mp images Lightroom mobile is continuously crashing when I'm in the 'export' module.

I purchased the Lightroom premium subscription but the app doesn't recognize it. What do I need to do to make it work?
