Questions

Is there an easy way of deleting all the files on the cloud. Lightroom CC has been a disappointment for me and I am going to try a more manual way of handling my files where I will try and preserve my directory structure. But first I want to empty the cloud of everything. I have over 30,000 files and I have had placeholders created for these overnight when I left the computer running. At the moment all I see is the option of selecting them one by one and deleting them, which is not feasible.

I have a directory with several files, but none show up in Lightroom. I've checked Mac permissions, converted files to various formats, moved files to another directory. Still no luck. Screen pic attached.     Mike  

I do a lot of Hyperlapse videos where I need to import anywhere from 200 or more images to batch edit then export. I'm running into an issue where I will import say 300 images but when it's done importing, only 250 images get imported. Why are the other 50 not being imported? I usually will have to go back and manually import all the images that weren't imported initially. Then on export, I can only export about 30 images at a time for some reason. Is there a different workflow I should be using for importing and exporting?

Hi! It turns out that when I'm in Lightroom and I want to edit some file in Photoshop, it opens the Photoshop Beta application; and I don't want that. What I want is to open the normal version of Photoshop, how could I set it to always open the normal editing? Thank you.

I'm sharing photos to clients through LR CC albums. Using Mac in Chrome browser.  At the top of the album page, when it's shared, it shows the album name, with 'by [me]' in smaller text underneath.  For these photos I collaborated with others, so need to include their names as well in this section.  How can I do this? Thanks Mark

I am currently running the most recent version of Lightroom on my iPad, 7th gen.  There is plenty of storage space as I am only about 1/2 way to capacity.  However, it is taking forever to dowload a jpg to the device, at least several minutes  or more.    Wondering if its a function of my device age or something else.  If it is age, can anyone suggest specs on a new iPad that would make the whole experience faster?

Hope someone can advise. I have Lightroom on my android phone, however want to also use it on my Mac desktop. Is it possible to load it on to that on my existing account, and if so, how to do this? Hope someone can please advise anyway! Hugh 

I have the Adobe Cloud suite with 60 workstation licenses, but every time I want to use Lightroom Cloud it starts and shuts down? on PC or Mac machine, by changing the identifier, or same account. do you have an idea ?

Unfollow someone in iOS iPhone Lightroom mobile. Stop their posts from appearing in my notifications feed. 

I am using the most recent version of Android LR.Since yesterday, when I run Lightroom,the attached pop-up message constantly appears.I can't do anything because of this messageand when I click update, I can see a web page error message.

How do I upload my edited images to my Etsy listings?

I download Lightroom last night, created an album and try to edit 1 photo. After done, i close the app and went sleep. But this morning when I open my Lightroom wanted to continue editing other photos, there is nothing in there like a new app and asked for storage permission.Anyone know how to restore?Thank you. 

Hi All, latest software update for lightroom mobile on iPhone has made it so in album view thumbnails are much larger and not regularly sized. This makes it hugely difficult to move to photos in the album, and also very difficult to view versions and groups of similar photos for quick edits. Can the thumbnail view be set back to the smaller all regularly sized more of a 'grid view' or is there a setting in the app in general to resize thumbnails?Thanks!  

Am I missing someThing on the new iPad Pro, I can not use Command+Z to undo changes. If this is not a thing this would be a great feature to have!

I am using Lightroom on my Android Galaxy S20 FE 5G. I have synced images from Lightroom Classic on my Windows 11 PC. When I try to share the images from LR on my Android phone, I get "Couldn't Complete Share  Unable to share  Edits from Windows PC still need to sync". On the PC in LR Classic, it shows that everything is synched. The last time I tried this was before the October LR update and it worked fine. Alan Hunt

As my question states, I have over 1 tb of photo in my local storage, but when I import them in to my Lightroom, due to cloud storage limitations, I cannot upload all of them, can I just upload preview of them on the drive?

I'm a regular user of Lightroom, and I have been for quite some time. Today I went to use the app, and all of my edited photos/ presets have disappeared. I log out and log back in, and only about 130 of my edited photos (last ones being in 2019) and 32 of my presets are showing up. Can anyone help me? I have dumped a lot of money in to nice presets and now they are just nowhere to be found.

Hello, randomly some color noise spots appear on DNG photos taken by the mobile Lightroom app on my Iphone 13 pro in the HDR mode. A sample attached, the spot is in the lower left corder. I have never experienced this in the native app / nor in any other third party app. Anyone suffer the same issue, or know how to solve it ? Thank you!

Please help! Today I upgraded to Lightroom 7.0, no issues, later I am back on lightroom editing photos. All of a sudden half of my photos just disapear! No idea where they have gone, how do I get them back?  I can always reimport as I have the original files but all of my hard work and time spend editing is gone! I'm devestated. If anyone can shed any light onto where they have gone & how I can get them back it would be much appreciated! (The photos are not 'missing' as many other discussions discuss they have literally just vanished!)
