doesn't keep text formatting when pasting from indesign. ie: i copy an image with text (century gothic) from indesign, paste into photoshop changes all text to Minion Pro.

as you see in the attached screenshot, my generations with nano banana are always misaligned and at wrong scale. any idea why and how to fix it? 

Why is it that when I try to use “Generative Upscaler” in Photoshop Beta 27.05.0, an issue keeps occurring and it tells me to try again? Is there a way to fix this annoying problem?

This happens with the most recent version of Photoshop for an Intel Mac. When I try to save files as JPGs (I haven’t experimented with other formats) those files appear to save, but when I check the directory they were saved in, no files appear. This is on the startup disk. I just wasted 2 hours only to find my work evaporated.  Now, I went back to the 27.3.0 release and this problem doesn’t exist on it.  I had tried eliminating other plug-ins and system extensions until I found rolling back the app fixed the issue. Now I don’t know if or when I could update the app to the current version. More info: iMac 3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5, Sequoia 15.7.4, 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4  

If you twirl down Dynamic Text in the Properties Panel it has some problems showing the word / line spacing without the entry fields if a text layer (non dynamic) is selected.   Also when deactivating Dynamic Text in the Properties Panel the space where the entry fields were stays there, but this should be narrowed down to a smaller height. Since the latest Photoshop update, the Remove Tool now automatically creates a new layer for each use or segment of editing. This is a major disruption to my workflow as a professional photo retoucher. In previous versions, I could apply multiple remove edits directly to a single layer, especially when working on a blank layer with “Sample All Layers” enabled. Now, after 50+ remove strokes, I’m left with numerous layers that I have to manually collapse or merge — which is tedious, inefficient, and prone to error. I strongly urge the Photoshop team to consider adding a toggle or setting that allows users to choose whether the Remove Tool outputs to a new layer each time, or keeps all strokes on the currently active layer.While I understand the intention to promote non-destructive workflows, this new behavior doesn’t suit all professionals — especially those who need speed and precision in high-volume editing. Reintroducing user control here would greatly improve efficienc

While in Neural Filters, once finished picking the filters, if you choose to save them as a "new layer" my photoshop crashes. and it has happened more than once on different days.. mainly because I forgot that was what happens when you do that. lol This does not happen when you choose to keep it on the same layer

I am editing an exterior image of a house.  I want to add a new entry.  No matter whether I select the entire canvas or just the entry, none of the generative fill options are actually working.  I’m sitting here, for example, 5 minutes for Nano Banana to finish and I get something that doesn’t aspire to what I’m prompting for.  The prompt I use is generative via ChatGPT for just the entry - so it’s reasonably accurate.Maybe the/your servers are overloaded or something else on the technical side, but it’s simply not delivering what I’ve paid for.  This is a problem for both the latest beta and production versions of PS.

On startup the default font shown is Arial Regular, but the actual type generated when I start typing is Arial Italic.  If I select the font to be Arial Italic then I get another incremental lean to the angle of the type.  I cannot get Arial Regular font at all.

Just as the title says, the pattern preview under View is broken and not working.

Being able to switch between Gemini Flash Image (Nano Banana), Adobe’s commercially safe Firefly models, and FLUX.1 directly inside Generative Fill feels like a big shift. It’s no longer just one model doing everything, we actually get to choose what fits the look we’re going for.Personally, I’ve found that being able to test different models quickly makes experimentation way more fluid. And paired with the new non-destructive Clarity and Dehaze Adjustment Layers, the Beta is feeling surprisingly solid. I’m curious: have you tried the new multi-model Generative Fill yet? For your workflow (photography retouching, compositing, graphic design, etc.), which model is giving you the best results so far?  But since it’s Future Friday… let’s look ahead 👀Imagine you had a magic wand and could ask the Photoshop team for one new feature, 

In Photoshop, under Keyboard Shortcuts, there isn’t an option to set up a shortcut in the top Window pulldown to view the CC Libraries as there is in Illustrator. See attached reference screengrabs. Best, W

Hi everyone!   The Block style of dynamic text is now available in Photoshop beta!   Dynamic text is a new form of type layer that automatically resizes and adjusts your text to fit the shape of the text boundary, and enables you to easily create different looks and layouts by resizing the type layer's boundary rectangle.     How to make dynamic textCreate a Point type or Paragraph type layer, and convert to dynamic text using the new button found in the Tool options bar and Properties panel  or from the Type menus.    You can customize the spacing between words or lines using the Word gap and Line gap options in the Dynamic text section of the Properties panel.   Try Dynamic text & Share what you create! Hi Adobe Community,I am experiencing significant issues with the Photoshop Beta on my Mac. The app is not working properly (harmonize ), making it impossible to use the features I am paying for.System Information: Operating System: macOS Ventura 13.7.8 (Build 22H730) Photoshop Beta Version: [20.5 ] Hardware: [Intel iMac 2017] The Issue: I have been paying for my Creative Cloud subscription, but the Beta version is currently unusable on this OS build. While I understand this is a "Beta" branch, it is frustrating that updates are not being optimized for standard macOS versions like 13.7.8. 

Photoshop version: 27.4.0 OS and version: macOS 15.7.3 (24G419)Issue: Photoshop Beta crashes immediately when switching between file formats (JPG/PNG) in the "Export As" dropdown menu. Steps to reproduce the behavior: Open any existing document or create a new one. Navigate to File > Export > Export As... Once the "Export As" dialog window opens, click on the Format dropdown menu (top right). Attempt to change the format from PNG to JPG (or vice versa) by selecting it from the list. Expected result: Photoshop should switch the format, update the file settings, and refresh the preview image. Actual result: Photoshop Beta crashes instantly to the desktop without any error message as soon as the format is selected.

You do a Liquify correction, if you like to do it again straight from menu it crash.Select and mask crash too with any image.  

After the last update I am experiencing slowness when zooming in and out in a high resolution photo  

All of the saved elements in CC My Library cause PS beta to crash when applying them. No crash report or send report dialog. The same library elements work in my other PS versions PS 2025 & 2026.
