Questions

Question:  I'm in PS Beta and it wants me to update, but it appears that it's going to the latest update to traditional PS.  Does the new update (which I assume is PS 2024) include all the skills in PS Beta as well?

Trying out Photoshop for the web (Version: 2023.17.1.2 - Git Commit: 073de894c9d) on a laptop prior to a trip abroad (already have latest version of PS on home Windows10 PC)When trying to drag/drop/open any jpeg file I get a "Insufficient PC Cores" message and everything stop s from there...The laptop actually exceeds the minimum requirements https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop/system-requirements-web.html64 bit, 6 core processor16MB ramFully patched Win10 osI'm using the latest version of Firefox (117.0.1 -64-bit) as my browser Anyone have any clues as to cause or fix?

Ciao, ho da poco scaricato l'AI generativa su photoshop, ma quando vado a generare l'immagine mi dice che è impossibile generare il promt a causa di problemi di connessione. Eppure prende benissimo! Ho provato a collegarmi ad altre reti, a disintallare e reinstallare, ma niente, sempre lo stesso problema. Qualcuno sa perché e come risolvere?

It runs fine at first, then it slows down to a crawl after a few weeks. Then I noticed it also affects the regular version of photoshop. I can sometimes fix the issue by opeing the app from Creative Cloud. Eventually I had to delete the beta version which doesn't make sense to me.

I see you plan to charge us for using Generative fill etc per edit! What happens when it's an unusable result or a violation error?  What happens when,like yesterday, I asked for a night sky and got half a woman's face? Is that going to cost me? Is every violation error and buggy response going to be billed to me?  I can find nothing on your website about this? What's going to happen?

The Generative fill is not working for me at all.When i give a prompt it loads for a long time and it gives me nothing.

The Photos app on Mac has an "edit with" option. PS and PS Beta (including 25.1) appear as options. When opening in the beta, making edits, flattening, then saving, PS Beta refuses to save to the temp file that Apple Photos set up. Instead it wants to save a new file. This isn't how the "edit with" flow is supposed to work. It should replace the file and appear in Apple Photos.

I have the beta-version of illustrator and photoshop on my pc suddenly. (I didn't install them) I tried to de-install them cuz they took over being the default app to open my files, which is super annoying. I don't want to switch to them cuz both application are buggy and don't work. Illustrator beta even crashes on start. The problem is that when I try to de-install the beta version over the creative cloud desktop it ALSO de-installs the normal photoshop/ illustrator version!? How do I get rid of them?

So I'm making a digital polytych of 6 images. First, some file info: Each image is 6240 PX x 3512 PX, RGB, 8-BIT, SCREEN sRGB. It was originally 72 PPI, then changed to 300 via going to Edit > image Size. I downsized these files to 1805 PX x 1122 PX to fit an overall file.  The polytych file is set to: 11420 PX x 1320 PX, set to 8-bit, RGB, sRGB colour profile.  To keep myself organized when I put it altogether, I put each image's individual file info (their adjustment layers etc.) Into a group. Here's my issue.  I'll duplicate image one into the new document (poly file) and it'll look exactly like it's supposed to. But once I duplicate another image into the poly file, the second image is washed out, dull, and the blacks have a crazy amount of banding.  I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong. I tried duplicating different images as the first one to see if it was the file itself, but it isn't - the first image always works out fine, i

i cant use the content aware fill  its says this feature is not available

Hi all, So up until the latest update of PS Beta the generative Fill AI results have been pretty incredible for a numerous amount of tricky challenges that i have used it on.BUT now with the latest update earlier in the week even the most simple of fill challenges and it fails massivelly like removing a sign from a plain ten bar  metal fence it either gives a complete mess or random items from cats to rock wall textures etc . This is using zero keywords and pre update it would smash this process no problems. iv set this as a discusion rather than a bug as im honestly intrested if anyone else has noticed a lack of performance / accurate results since the latest update. Cheers Nick

I recently purchased photoshop, generative fill was working for about a day and then just stopped working. The bar loads up for about half a second now and then disappears. Any idea on how I can get it to start working again?

I cant use AI.

Does not work. Cannot set a default text size--it changes randomly everytime when going from LR Classic to Photoshop Beta even though I have set the text size previously with no file open in PS. And each time the text is set to a different random size.

Since latest PS & Beta updates, Lightroom is only showing PS2024 as an external editor option. Tried uninstalling PS2024 & Lightroom detects no available external editor option, even though PS Beta still installed. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling all 3, LR, PS & PS Beta. No change, PS Beta still not detected. 

Hi,in newest beta version (and in previous to) when I use Burn tool and Range is selected (blue border) then CTRL+ALT+S doesn't work.I need to uncheck the Range and then everything is ok.

Generative fill doesn't work after the update it's always giving the Internet connection error allthough i am using a high speed connection everything else in the desktop is working online but not the Generative Fill
