Here is an idea: why don't we leave Merge Down / Merge Visible / Flatten Image where it has always been for decades! At the bottom of the list of options. My muscle memory hurts to see somebody needlessly moved that thinking it was a good idea. Am I missing something or is this a bug? It has slowed me down by about .65% and I don't like it!   Photoshop Beta version 25.2.0

Reinicie Photoshop e inténtelo de nuevo."Probe de varias maneras de reiniciar el programa pero no encientro solución.

I have both Photoshop 2024 (v25.12) and Photoshop Beta (v26.0) installed on my Windows 11 PC. Both updated to latest versions. I had created an action to change from soft brush to a logo brush (2 actions  in one group - so I can click and run any one and my brush changes accordingly). The actions seem to work very well in the PS 2024. But I get the error "The command "select' not currently available" in the Beta version only. I deleted the action in beta version and re-recorded it and yet it shows the same error. While manually I can go and select the logo brush with a 3-4 steps(select brush, select the logo brush from a group, adjust the size to 150px and press enter). So what's going on? It's not that there is any conflict of names since the same works with ease in the PS 2024 v25.12. The action to get soft brush from logo brush works very well!

Whenever I click and hold a tool icon to get an alternate tool, the flyout icons appear in a new Mac 'Space'. (See attachment showing the icons floating on their own).

Hi. There is a brutal difference in memory consumption when starting Photoshop, in the normal version, and in the Beta version. Mainly, in the Beta and without opening any files or editing anything, it drastically increases the amount of ram memory.In the pictures you can see the difference in consumption between one version and the other. macOS Ventura 13.6.9Adobe Photoshop 2024 25.11.0Adobe Photoshop Beta 25.13.0

Hi. Why do I get this message when I use the “Remove” tool?I guess macOS Ventura is not such an old operating system for this tool to be so slow. I am using macOS Ventura 13.6.8. Regards!

when try to load a tiff file in bridge to photoshop beta an error in windows this app can't run on your PC?

getting this when i try to use generate ai. non-beta photoshop works fine but not beta. internet is working fine.

So I opened the PS Beta today, and gave the "Generate Image" (Assuming it's powered by Firefly) feature a try. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.Prompt and settings: Results:   This seems to happen no matter what prompt I feed it, what reference image I give it, or what style I have selected.Does anyone know what's wrong here?Would be great to get this feature working properly inside PS so I don't have to generate with firefly on the web.

On my MacBook Pro (2023, Sonoma 14.6.1, Apple M2 Max) all .nef files will open in PS and PS Beta, but when attempting to then open the file in Camera Raw the notice "The ICC color profile of this document is not compatible with the Camera Raw filter. Convert the document to another profile to apply the Camera Raw filter." This happens with files from either the Nikon Z6-II and Z9.

How do I activate generative fill for my Photoshop? I use the select tool and there is no button saying 'Generative Fill.' I saw from another post that I have to update my Date of Birth on my account in order for it to show because I'm over 18. The person who suggested it also said that if I signed in using social sign-in (like Apple, Facebook, Google), that I should set my DOB on those accounts to be public. However, I don't really know what category my account falls into since it's a school Outlook email account. I've looked around trying to update my DOB (or set it to public) on my school Adobe account AND my school Outlook account, but have found no options to do so. What can I do?

As a user of Photoshop on the desktop and iPad, I don't find many occassions to use Photoshop Web. The one time I would find it useful is when I'm on my little Linux box (Pop!_OS). However, it doesn't seem to work in either Chrome (Chromium) or Firefox. The web app hangs when trying to load or create a document. Photoshop 25.11.0 BetaOS Vetura 13.6.3Macbook Pro 16in 2021 Apple M1 Pro Working working, add a curve layer... photoshop is gone. Throw wacom tablet in the corner, when I cool off and open Photoshop again and add curve again - it works. This happened like 4-5 times already. Add curve - done. Anybody else?

PS 25.13.0MacOS 14.6.1 As in the title, my brush cursor tip preview is gone. It shows briefly if I change brush sizes but disappears immediately after. I tried a few different tools and with normal and full-size brush tip. And changing the brush tip outline weight (new feature to me - kudos, look forward to playing with that). Quit and relaunched photoshop, but haven't tried a restart. Never mind, I moved over to regular photoshop and it was doing it there too. Did a restart, all is well. Sigh "did you try turning it off and then on again?" When will I learn... Thanks!N.

I've come to really appreciate tools like generative fill and content-aware fill, but (within the past 24-hours or so) the results have been really bizarre. As an example, I made a portrait of a physician and the edge of my beauty dish is slightly in frame, which shouldn't be a problem for either tool because it's covering a single-color wall and someverti blinds, but my first result for "extend wall and blinds" was textured wallpaper and a bed hanging from the ceiling. i'vr tried multiple variations of the prompt for generative fill and various selections for content-aware fill, which should be delivering great results, but the results just keep getting stranger and stranger ... leading me to believe that the tools might actually be broken. Am I losing my mind over here or are others expecting similar issues today?

UXP 8.0.1 was brought to Beta about a month ago.  Since then we have been tracking a small rise in instability due to the update.  We have reverted to 7.4.1 until we have a better understanding of the issue.

Hello, I have updated my Photoshop. It's on the latest version. 24.4.0. I literally was using the generative fill yesterday, and now it's not even showing up in my window tab. I only see options and tools. I don't know what to do. No, I don't have multiple screens; I use a laptop. Am I missing something?

I encountered an issue where, after updating Photoshop beta to the latest version, I am unable to save files. I also checked Adobe's support and tried using an older version and uninstalling, but the problem persists. The following image appears when I attempt to save. 

I swear when reading and watching advertising for photoshop AI beta, it said it could be used to create conceptual ideas as an art base and the art created from the idea was able to be used commercially. But no where have I found documents that have repeated that. It even talked about being able to be used for bookcovers. I remember thinking why only book covers but not for sell commercially.    I really want to take the ai ideas I created and paint or draw them, either with real paints, pencils or software painting. I don't want to do things illegal.  I swear it said it could be used for conceptual idea. Thank you. 

I want to create a generative fill in the area I want in Photoshop, but I can't find a tab to put the reference image. It's frustrating.    The reference image appears in the entire imageI want to make generative fill only the area I want.Anyone know how? 😂

Hi, I go through the steps to expand using the crop tool and then nothing happens. the canvas expands but it does not fill in anything. any suggstions?
