Camera Raw wont start when drag and drop files in Photoshop 2024

Hi, 

 

Its has been working fine till one day Camera Raw just wont start when I drag and drop files in Photoshop 2024. I am still able to open files by Click Open or Ctrl+O. But just Drag and Drop wont work. 

 

Also, if I open 1 photo already with photoshop, drag and drop works fine then. But at the beginning with no documents opened, camera raw just wont work with drag and drop.  I tried many ways to fix but all end up frustrating. Any one got same problem?

What version of Windows are you using?

I use Windows 11 Pro 23H2  

Note that everything works fine till just the day I reported this problem. 

 

And its not that I can not drag and drop files to Photoshop, it works fine when a document or a file is opened already. But at the beginning, just the Camera RAW wont start when I drag and drop files to Photoshop. Complicated!
