SInhala Fonts doesnt work in Photoshop but does work properly in illustrator ! Help needed 

Hello. I purchased a mockup for prints I am selling.  The folder includes the PSD and 2 video files. When I open the PSD file it asks me to link the video ‘’CurtainVid.mov’’ which I do but I get the attached error message. I thought the video file was maybe corrupt and downloaded it again but same issue. It won’t play in QuickTime either and states ‘’This file contains some media that isn’t compatible with QuickTime Player.’’ Any ideas? I am running an M1 Mac Mini and Ventura 13.0 with Photoshop 24.1.1. Thanks in advance.

Help!  I'm getting and error when I'm trying to use content aware crop.  Error 54: Uncaught JavaScript exception: General Photoshop error occurred. Hello, I wanted to point out that the color replacement function works very badly on the latest version of photoshop.

Hello.I have a problem with Photoshop’s AI generator; it shows an error and asks me to try again. It has been like this for over a month, and I don’t know what to do. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled it, reset the preferences, and updated the program, but nothing works.

I've been looking all over this forum for a solution, so please forgive me if I missed it.I don't use tabs. My workflow requires separate windows for each image. When I open images, the window will resize to the image for the first 3. If I open more, the window will fill the screen while the image remains the same size. I need to be able to see the tabs cascade so I can find my frame numbers without scrolling through a dropdown menu. In CS6, it was automatic. I have unchecked 'overscroll'. I've attached an image in case I'm not using the correct terminology to explain my problem. There's probalby something obvious that I'm missing. This issue also hides my tool bar until I drag the windows to snap them to the edge of their images to unbury it. My workflow has been negatively impacted by this issue. Thank you for any suggestions.

Hello,I have a model car that needs decals. The decal does not exist, so I have to create it.The decal is a scanned PDF file.If I print the PDF at the original size, the decal size is perfect.I only need the black lines from the decal image (not the blue, orange or black and white, only the black lines from the decal image) As the PDF was scanned, there are no printer margins. I therefore have to move the image into the printable area, as it is currently on the edge.I also need to print the black lines five times, as it can fit on A4 paper and I do not want to waste decal printer paper.I am a beginner with Adobe.Could someone please help me? What do I need to do? If any part of what I wrote is unclear, please ask. Thank you.

How do I remove these + signs appearing out of nowhere? It appeared suddenly and I thought I accidently typed it but it kept appearing and is only visible when the layer is on.

Hi, Thanks to everyone who took the time to put forward an image in our previous 'Electric Avenue' challenge. The imagination in this group is excellent.This week we have different challenge. Cellphone masts appear everywhere these days and sometimes they are bare masts but occasionally the cellphone companies disguise them with a few tree tree branches or similar. I got to thinking that the collective imagination around here could do better than that. So I bring you a undisguised mast, actually it is an an Adobe 3D asset that I textured, rendered, and added to a photograph of some trees near Loch Morlich in Scotland. How will you cunningly disguise it?For this week can I add an additional request, when you post your response can you add just a few words on how you went about it. débutant sur Photoshop je rencontre un petit problème qui doit avoir forcément une solution.Dans certains cas, le ciel est mal détecté, notamment à travers un feuillage dense. J'ai ce problème sur d'anciennes photos Jpeg (je n'utilisais pas les raw à l'époque).  Comme je cherche à remplacer le ciel avec les hautes lumières cramées par l'option "remplacement du ciel", Photoshop ne me détecte qu'une partie du ciel et le ciel généré ne semble pas modifiable directement. Y a t'il une solution pas trop compliquée ?

Hi everyone,Has anyone here ever been asked by a printing house not to use the LZW TIFF format?I have to say, LZW compression has always been incredibly useful for me when working with billboard or large banner files, and until a recent request from a print shop, I’d never heard of any issues with using it for print.I haven’t yet received an explanation from them, so I’ve been digging through forums trying to understand what the potential problems might be. Unfortunately, I’ve found very little—just a few hints suggesting that some RIPs may not fully support LZW, which could lead to major issues when interpreting the file.If anyone would be willing to share their experience on this topic, I’d really appreciate it.What exactly causes the issue? Is it something that happens often, or could it just be outdated software on the print shop’s end?Maybe most printing houses just re-save LZW TIFFs before printing, without informing the designer?Thanks in advance for any insights!

For some reason every time I open the color balance window now it opens up with my most recently used settings, which are literally always wrong for each new image I wish to adjust. I assume some setting was accidently set somewhere to cause this. Where is it, and how do I change it back?

I want to sharpen a Layer and watched PHLEARN's video on youtube which used this worfklow: 1.  Dup layer2.  Desaturate the layer3. Make the layer a Smart Object4. Change Blend mode from Normal to Overlay5. Go to Filter, Other, High Pass, adjust slider6.  Create Layer Mask.  Fill with Black7.  Paint with White to reveal sharpened areas. Screen shot 1 shows how things look after the first step, duping the Layer.  Screen shot 2 shows at step 3, after desaturating the Layer and making it a Smart Object.  Screen shot 3 shows after the blending change., and screen shot 4 shows at step 5, after creating the High Pass Filter.     My questions are: - why is the SO Layer so dark in screen shot 3?  -  is this a referred method of sharpening?  The PHLEARN guy said he liked it better than using the Sharpen tool.   Before and after shots in screen shots 5 & 6.  I guess it's better but th

Hi there, I couple weeks ago got a new MacBook Pro and have encountered an error when using Photoshop.I'll get a "Could not complete the Export As command because of a program error" error when I tried to export images whether it's on the canvas or on artboard(s).Our IT guys checked on my system but they seems not able to fix it.We've also tried almost every possible ways that we can find, including update to the newest version, downgrade to the previous version, delete preference settings, disable graphic card driver, checking the permission to access disk, and so on, but none of them work.So I'm wondering if has there anyone encountered the same issue? Down below I've attached the snapshots of the error message and the info of my laptop.Thank you. Terry 

ちょっとしたことですが、特定色域の選択のインターフェイスがつい最近のアップデート(26.9.0)で変わったようです。補色とグラデーションになったことが自分には使いづらいです。元のインターフェイスに戻す方法はないでしょうか？

I have been a user of Adobe products for like 3 decades I think. This is the WORSE release I have EVER worked with.    I'm not sure what is going on at Adobe [cursing removed]! It is SUPER SLOW now, several changes in the way you do things now that have been the same for decades, crashes all the time, if you open a file from my network share though PS it locks the whole laptop up. I'm on Mac.    I get the Gen AI add ons... But NEVER [removed by moderator] with a good thing. I LITERALLY HATE this new release and I'm considering cancelling my whole CS subscription and moving to something else.    Adobe.... PLEASE... NEVER change the way basic features work and QA your releases. I'm cool with maybe some bugs on the AI stuff... but this new PS is garbage and super buggy.   PS... FIX YOUR [removed by moderator]

I have tried going to Get Info and changing it to default to Photoshop, but the change will not hold.  Anyone have any suggestions.  It either opens up in Acrobat or Preview. Thanks! 

Every time I click 'Quick Export' or 'Export As' I'm met with an error message;Could not complete the Quick Export as PNG command because of a program error. I currently can't export any of my work. The error is present on both Photoshop 2023 and Photoshop Beta.I have updated both. Reinstalled both. The issue is still present.

Hello. I have a PC, the Windows version is 10, and I ran into a problem that is in photoshop version 26.9 (in beta version too). The problem is with an Extension button that is not working/unavailable (outdated version. Can you tell me how to solve the problem?

Having trouble figuring out how to not only cut out a subject and remove the background but also saving that subject as an individual image so I can add that to a powerpoint slide. Does anyone have any ideas?

On Photoshop, I use a thumbnail template, where I have multiple groups: Title, Talent, Products, Background. I've been using that template for years now, I clean up once in a while but I have a couple of recurring images I use and like to keep in my template. Recently, even when some layers are not checked, it's like Photoshop thinks they're there? So if I want to resize one of the images that's part of any group, I need to hit free transform in order to be able to resize this image using only this image's borders. Or when I have to have 2 images on the thumbnail from the same group, I can't move them separately, it moves both of them and I need to remove one from the group to move it and then put it back in. I don't mind if that's just the way Photoshop is going to be, I'll re-organize the template accordingly, but it's kind of annoying and it didn't use to be this way up until the latest (I'm on v26.9, on PC) update? So, am I missing a quick fix?
