I keep getting this error window each time i start any of my Adobe Apps: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Can't figure out how it's affecting my work yet, any thoughts on how to fix this? Thank you kindlyAndrea 

I think if I ever met the person in charge of PS development I'd probably get arrested. It's the only program that I use that simply hogs memory for no reason and causes my system to grind to a halt.  It just sits there with zero files open and zero tasks to do just guzzling memory - I just had to shut it down for the 10th time today as it was hoarding 18GB of memory while doing NOTHING. This has been going on for over a decade. Mind you I suppose it's par for the course from a company that can't even fix the CTRL D (deselect,) problem in over ten years.

This has been an ongoing problem since the recent release of Photoshop. Photoshop becomes nonresponsive for about 3-5 minutes when copying text from another program like MS Word, for example. If I edit a menu via Edit -> Menus to hide items, the hidden items do not persist and reappear in the menu when I restart Photoshop 2025.How do I get them to stay hidden?

After update Photoshop 25 does not appear on my Windows 11 desktop!Everything else does, like Lightroom, but Photoshop doesn't work. The previous PS Icon on my desktop it's not working. 

This problem has existed for at least two years. For years I was able to use Neural filters without problems. Overnight it stopped working in the middle of a project I was working. Since then I have faithfully kept up with the lasted version of PS. I have reported this problem in the past and after weeks of following all the Adobe help suggestions I can still not use the filter. Tentei de todas as formas utilizar a nova opção da ferramenta remover do photosop, mas sempre aparece esta mensagem. Gostaria de entender como corrigir para que ela identifique as pessoas na imagem e faça a remoção. No modo, deixei a opção: IA generativa habilitada e também marquei as opções obter amostras de todas as camadas e remover após cada traçado.

Sometimes when I drag a jpeg or png from my desktop or folder it opens up all distorted and the colours messed up. Usually a yellow and white tint over it. Happens even if i right click the file and open with photoshop. The only fix I have been able to find is open it in illustrator and move it into photoshop from there.If someone could tell me the reason why this is happening? or if they have had the same issue and how/if they were able to fix it.Thank You!

This new "Generative Credits" system? It’s an absolute scam.Now, every time I use a generative feature in Photoshop, it drains my credits—and for what? 90% of the time, the results are useless garbage. Why should I be charged for so weird results?And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Adobe has already doubled the subscription prices. So now we’re paying more while getting less. First, they lock essential tools behind a paywall, and now they’re introducing artificial limits on features that should be included in the overpriced subscription we already pay for.Adobe is squeezing every last penny from its users while delivering worse service. You call this innovation? Because from where I’m sitting, it looks like a rip-off.Fix this nonsense. Either scrap the credit system or make sure we’re not wasting them on AI-generated trash. Enough is enough.

I’m trying to install Photoshop via Creative Cloud, but the installation gets stuck at "Initializing" every time. I’ve tried restarting, updating Creative Cloud, and clearing the cache, but no luck.Any solutions? Thanks!

I'm attempting to redo migration from an old Silicon Mac to an M4 Mac, and I understand that I should first uninstall all Adobe apps from the old Mac prior to running a last Time Machine backup.So I used the CC app on the old Mac to uninstall Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge, and CC ended up showing no apps installed--but of course I had chosen with each app to KEEP the prefs, hoping to migrate those and then do fresh installs that would pick them up.But the step of keeping the prefs seems to prevent running the "Uninstall Creative Cloud": it complains that I still have CC apps installed.I'm stuck.

Am I free to distribute plugins built using SDK headers and library files without including the SDK files?Is it required to mention Adobe's license information in the plugin's license file?

I am trying figure out how work rotation shortcut on Mac, i saw many tutorials,..and everybody say hold option and shift and then < or > ,..but nothing hapend. I had right now screen sharing with Adobe and wanted see if they will able fix it. Nothing,.restart preferences etc,.nothing hapend. Hi!I have an image sequence with 600 png file where I want to optimize each png to decrease their filesizes. Thought I could use automation and run a function macro (their called so in the swedish version think they are called actions in english). The optimization I want to use is in the "export for web" dialogue to change from png24 to png8. It works fine when I do it manually.Then I record the macro (action) doing the export for web routine and run it with a group automation from one folder whith the original files into a new empty folder. But then I get the save as dialouge for each and every image. Not fun having to do this 600 times.  I have tried with the "ignore save as" option on/off in the settings for the automation but it doesn´t help. Also tried the image process script but it wont do png files. Sigh...What am I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance for any input regarding this!

Hi all,I recently encoutered an odd problem where pure blacks have some kind of noise/grain in photoshop. The problem does not appear in illustrator, or on web generated pure black, so I do not think it has to do with my screen.It appears in different files with different color modes as well, however if I switch devices and open the same file it does not appear.I am running macOS Monterey 12.7.5 on a 2013 Mac Pro. Attached is a sample of pure black, next to a gradient so you can see where on the spectrum the effect occurs.Also attached is the colorsettings. The issue was not fixed by changing to srgb, everything else is default. 

Is this possible.  I try to follow the help direction for editing typ but I can't select the type.  When I go to the type tool and then to where I want to change the type, it instead puts what looks like script Lorem Ipsum. I don't remember how I created the png, and I have a PSD with the right type I could replace it with but in help it doesn't give a choice to do so.  Seems like this should all be so simple.  Unbelievable how useless the help is.  I search for creat png, and nothing relevant so then just png.  and stell get a whole list of generalized things to spend hours reading it seems.

Trying to paste text from word into  PS26.3.0  on a circular path. The text tool won't change to a I and makes a new text layer instead, no matter how long you hover. Text pastes ok without pasting onto a path. I have a problem. When I zoom in too much in Photoshop, so-called "artifacts" appear. Disabling the graphics processor helped, but without it, Photoshop lags a lot

Nikon Z50 NEF files will not open in either Photoshop or Lightroom - and I've downloaded latest raw update.  I can drop them into Photo Mechanic and I can see both the JPEG and NEF files.  I also have a Nikon Z6, and those NEF files can open up in Photoshop directly. 

In Photoshop 26.3, when you work on a file, it automatically saves the file to the cloud. This setting is undesirable. Apparently it cannot be turned off. Yes at the end of the job I can save my work locally, but how do I prevent the continuous saving to the cloud. There are many photos and content for which it is inappropriate for it to leave my computer. This feature should be strictly optional. For the first time in 20 years of use I am thinking of leaving Adobe Photoshop. Or if I'm wrong and would really like. Tell me how to turn off the continuous cloud storage feature.

Hi!Silver Fx and other plugins from DXO Labs does not work anymore after the latest update of PS (20250108).Both PS and the plugin stops working. I am on an iMac 2019, 32 ram  with latest Mac OS.Anybody else have the same problem? 

Hello, I should start off by saying that all my color settings on my monitor, laptop, and photoshop are all set to the exact same sRGB profile. For some reason, when I go to export an image as a .png, the colors get shifted DRAMATICALLY and I have been searching for hours with no answer.Can someone please offer some advice/help? See attached screenshots for reference.
