Is it possible to have a "lighter color blend" per brush stroke within a same layer ?

To sumarise the situation, I need to draw multiple lines, with ligher ones being on top. For this I want to use a brightness jitter to get random light value on each stroke, but the last one always goes on top.

The "easy solution" would be the "lighter color blend" but it only applies between layers, which mean I would need to make a layer per stroke, which a lot more time consuming.
So my question is, is there any way to apply the blend per stroke on a same layer rather than making a new layer each time ? Or alternatively, is there any way of achieving the same result ?

You can set the brush's blend mode to lighter color. Not sure if it will do what you want.
