19,1 iMac w Monterey 12.5, 11" iPad Pro iOS15.6, Apple Pencil 2, Photoshop 23.4.2 & iOS Photoshop 3.6.3:

Can I open Image A in iOS Photoshop on my 11" iPad Pro and paint a mask over an image with my Apple Pencil 2, then send mask to my iMac w original Image A?

Yes, masks are carried with the document. You don't even have to send anything. As soon as you create a Photoshop document on an iPad, it will stored on Creative Cloud, and will automatically appear in the Home screen of Photoshop on the Mac and Windows versions of Photoshop. All you have to do on your Mac is go to the Home screen in Photoshop, and click to open that document. The mask you created on the iPad will be that document.
