Issue Display Driver - All drivers up to date

Hi,

I have  Dell XPS 15 9550 laptop, until yesterday everything was working fine but this morning I couldn't launch Photoshop CC at all.

- I updated photoshop CC and even sign up to a new creative cloud subscription

- I updated the driver for my GPU, both for NVIDIA  GeForce GTX 1050 and  Intel HD GRaphics 630.

So in overall, all the drivers for my laptop are up to date. But when Photoshop CC 2019 finally launched, I got the message "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and temporarily disable enhancements which use the graphic hardware ".So I clicked on the link that was shown on that message and  saw that my graphic cards haven't been tested by adobe yet, but they do meet the requirements. So I have not clue what could cause that message to pop up.

Is there anything else I could do to fix that issue ?

Photoshop was working fine yesterday and I didn't updated anything before this morning when I saw it was impossible to launch the software.

I have a lot of freelancing work to do so I would appreciate it if you could help me with that problem.

I am looking forward for you reply,

Best Regards,

Marie-Stephanie Surga.

And also this: https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/photoshop/kb/photoshop-cc-gpu-card-faq.html

The general advice is to disable the Intel adapter for Photoshop.

Hi

Take a look here

Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues

Section 7 make sure that Photoshop.exe is added to the Nvidia 3D settings

Hi !
Thanks for the prompt reply, I really appreciate it.

I did the actions requested in section 7 but even after I added photoshop.exe and sniffer.exe to the 3D settings it doesn't work. I restarted the laptop and every time I did that manipulation again and it never changed anything to my situation. How can I check that this change is applied correctly ? Because whenever I click "add" then "apply" I don't have any confirmation message and I would like to be sure the changes had been applied.

I then decided in a desperate attempt to do the recommendation in section 8 and  to disable the Intel(R) HD Graphic. When I launched photoshop I received the same message as before "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and temporarily disable enhancements which use the graphic hardware ". I cannot use photoshop as it is because it seems really buggy [the software "blinks" when I move the cursor around and when I open the window for a new document it's all blank and I cannot see any menus.

And then I went all the way with section 10, but turns out that the option "use Graphic Processor" was never selected. When I do select it (to get access to the advance settings) it freezes the software and there is nothing I can do but to force the task to end.

Could you share any other recommendation so I can try to fix that problem please ?
Thanks !

Hi

I know you mentioned that your drivers are up to date, but try downloading the Intel GPU driver from here and installing

Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 630

Also can you post your Photoshop system info, go to Help > System Info and copy and paste that in this thread
