P: Unable to download Colorize filter under neural filter Photoshop 22.4.3

My colourize neural filter worked fine yesterday,but today it's asking me to download it. It of course will not download now,and just stays grayed out. The other Neural filters work fine. I've updated to 22.4.3 now,but still the same problem. I've changed nothing from yesterday to today (except for the update) and I rarely use any of the other filters but use the colourize all the time. I'm using windows 10.

    Found the solution:
    Delete all Adobe folders in these folders (Local, LocalLow, Roaming). you can access these folders by pasting following address in explorer. You will be able to download the filter after deleting temp adobe folders.... 🙂

    Can confirm that the solution described by "william5C1F" worked for me.  Just follow the  instructions.

      Hello Mohit,

       

      Using Win 10, PS 22.4.3. Colorizer used to work. I did the work around and deleted the colorization folders as recommended. restarted PS, re downloaded colorizer. Now it just generates the triangle warning.

      Had the same problem

      this worked for me...as mentioned in other posts

      went here: %USERPROFILE%\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\PluginsStorage\PHSP\22\Internal\com.adobe.nfp.gallery

      opened PluginData folder

      removed every folder with the word "Colorization" in the title ( I had 5 of them)

      restarted PhotoShop

      opened a random image

      went to the neural filters

      and was able to download the colorization plugin, and use it

      ...but it seems that Adobe would have noticed such a problem, before sending out the latest update...

        I am having the exact same issue and have tried everything you have tried. All of a sudden neural filter colorize will not download while everything else works. It worked great 2 days ago..

          The following worked for me, and is easier than looking for hidden folders in Windows Explorer.

           

          Try completely removing Photoshop, including manually deleting the Photoshop 2021 directory in Windows Explorer after Windows uninstall. Reboot your system, and reinstall. Load an image in PS and go to the neural filters. You should now be able to download the colorize filter again.

           

          You may have to reinstall other plugin filters again (Alien Skin, etc).

              Hi, I’ve looked at those issues before I contacted you. I don’t understand why a Neural filter that I’ve been using since they came out, and yesterday, asks
              me to download it again and then refuses to download! I had up to yesterday morning, not changed a thing on my computer. Seeing that there was an update
              I download and updated to 22.4.3. It did not fix the issue. All the other Neural Filters work including the Betas, and none of them needed downloading again!
              This is extremely frustrating as I use this filter all the time. Please could you give me more of an answer to the problem than just sending a link to something
              most of us would have researched right off.

              Windows 10.
