The Shift + Brush tool works the other way in Photoshop 21.1.1

In previous versions of Photoshop to draw a straight line you must first press the Brush and then Shift. In the new version that I recently installed (21.1.1) it works the other way around, first you press the Shift, and then the Brush, this is not very convenient. Can this be changed somehow?

Hello, do you mean to join a point with a straight line, or to constraint painting in straight lines?

I get a regular behavior; are you on a PC or a Mac?

Hi! I mean to constraint painting in straight lines.
I am on a PC, Windows 10.

I don't believe this has changed. To draw a straight line, you have to first click the starting point with just the brush tool, then move the cursor to the end of the line, press shift, then click with the brush tool. If PS isn't behaving this way, then you might need to reset your preferences.

I already reset preferences. It didn't help.
