Windows Photoshop 24.1.1 freezes when trying to print

We have multiple printers and this only happens when a specific one of our printers is off (HP Designjet Z6100ps). Currently this printer is under maintenance, so I don't want to turn it on. I want to print to another printer in the office (HP Color LaserJet 500 Pro). The Designjet is not set as Windows default printer. The Color LaserJet, the printer I want to print to, is set to default. Every time I hit print it does not open the print dialogue box, not giving me the chance to select another printer, and Photoshop completely freezes. I have to then force stop the program and start over.

Try holding the space bar when selecting the Print Menu. It will reset the dialog box.

This happens to me but only on older files that I've printed before in other environments.  Space bar reset didn't clear the problem for me.  New files print with no problem.  So my work around is to "save as" to create a new file and print from the new file.

I'm not sure if  I can edit the original post to put this in but update: Print One Copy DOES work and prints to the correct printer (the Color Laserjet).
