Questions

I just installed the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 trial (in Windows 10).  I see no evidence or prescence of ACR, or of older Elements menus and tools.  Does Elements still surpport raw editing?   Organizer button reads raw files but is apparently is just a viewer of simplest auto jpg conversions (without .xmp contributions) with almost no editing options.  Elements spawn simply shows three buttons choosing Organizer, Photo Editor or Video Editor (not installed).  Am I doing something stupidly wrong, or does Elements not support ACR any more?

Serial numbers provided for 2022 photoshop elements and premiere elements purchased from adobe do not work for activation. Support useless and phone numbers to call just send you around in a circle with the same old answers solving nothing. Products downloaded fine and adobe had no problem accepting my money.

I've downloaded Elements 2022 for trial.  It will not install.  Before installing, Task Manager tells me there are no other applications running.  When I try to install, Error 81 tells me that another installer running preventing Elements from installing.  Task Manager tells me that the only installer running is the one trying to install Elements 2022!The only other Adobe application installed on my computer is Acrobat Reader and that is not running.Without help, I cannot install and will not be able to purchase Elements 2022.apIago

Hallo zusammenSeit ich Photoshop Elements 20 neu installieren musste, fehlen wichtige Werkzeuge.Im Modus "Schnell" erscheinen keine Werkzeuge (z.B.: intelligente Autokorrektur, Schärfen, etc) mehr. Im Modus "Assistent" erscheint auch kein Werkzeug. Kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich diese Funktionen wieder zurück holen kann?Vielen lieben Dank.    

Bonjour, Je suis sur PSE 20 et sur McBook ProSuite à une probable mauvaise manip, lorsque je fais un copier (d'une zone sélectionnée cmdC) que je crée une nvelle photo cmdN, et fais un coller cmdV, PSE me colle un cadre flou  de qq mm. (cf exemple joints)Pour enlever ses marges il faut qu'à chaque copier-coller, je passe par le menu Image puis Recomposition (ou image/recadrer) et que je recadre les 4 bords. manuellement.Comment rétablir un copier/coller identique sans marge à chaque fois ?? Merci beaucoupeb 

when importing an image from the hard drive into the organizer, PSE 2022 adds 2 hours to the shooting date in the metadata EXIF.I didn't have this problem with PSE 2021

I've scanned a photo for a friend and it has a distinctive red color to it. I'd like to restore it to natural color but all of the automatic tools are insufficient. I'd love to know what steps I can take to correct the color. I'm not very savvy when it comes to the different brush modes. I fiddled with one of them but now I see pink streaks in her hair, as seen in the second photo. Also, I've forgotten what I used to decrease the red. I think I painted over with some bruch. ? ? (It's been a long day!)

Does Elements 2022 support Z6 RAW files?

Elements 2021 crashed a couple of days ago and when I rebooted my Viewpoint 3 plug in would not work.  I went to edit preferences and it shows up and I add it but it does not show up in my filter drop down menu. Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I am including photos to show what I am looking at on my end.  

I recently updated my computer and now when I save as in Photoshop, it no longer automatically highlights the file name everytime. Some times it does and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else noticing this problem or have a solution? It sounds like a compatibility glitch between photoshop and the latest Mac OS. Thanks

I can not find a color setting for CMYK? Is there one?

I have a student using Photoshop Elements 2020 on a Mac running Big Sur.  She cannot get the keyboard command to hide the current selection (Cmnd "H") to work.  I am using the same setup and this keyboard command works for me. What might she have done to lose this keyboard command? Mary Lou 

I am using PSE15.I have just created a new backup and I see .json files are still showing. I had already ensured that facial recognition was unticked and I had also performed the reset, so can anyone suggest why this is happening? Also could you tell me what the following files are in the backup just to help me understand the process?B0000000.cache.xmpBackup.tlycatalog.buc

Installed Mac is Monterey 12.0.1 on my MacBook Pro this morning and photoshop elements 2021 would not open after sleep mode and only reopens after shutting down and restarting the laptop. Has anyone else had this problem?    Title changed by Moderator

This is a continuing problem for me.  I've had restore my organizer 4 times in the last year due to catalog issues.  The latest occurred when  I booted organizer from an external drive -- where it is always kept -- and discovered the plug was not firmly planted.  The only Catalog it shows in my "Manage Catalogs " has nothing in it - the standard "My Catalog".  When I check in my lastest"backup" folders, I can see a "catalog.buc" file but can't seem to do anything with it.  Somehow anything I name the catalog when I have to do another one doesn't show up.  PLEASE help -- what am I doing wrong?  Is there someplace that the catalogs are put by default?? 

I've had quite the runaroudn trying to get Elements 13 to work again (it worked in this computer for years). AFter trying many solutions from Adobe and others in these forums I contacted their help via email and received this: "We would like to inform you that PSE 13 is too old and no longer available and supported Adobe and Secondly PSE 13 servers have been shut down. If you will try to install or update it further, then it will create conflict with your system. so, we can do is we provide you the Photoshop Elements 2021. My Photoshop Elements catalog contains around 60 000 pictures. It is painfully slow, in spite I have 32 Gb of ram and plenty of disk space, an Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.50GHz processor and the latest version of the program. Windows 10. Repairing or optimizing the catalog doesn't help. So I would like to have a smaller catalog by splitting it in two or three smaller catalogs. Maybe this will make things go faster. Is it possible to do so? For instance one catalog for pictures before 2010, one 2010-2020, and one after 2020. Regards, Øivind Øvrebotten, Norway.

After noticing that my photos were taking forever to load on my website, I was told that my file sizes are much too large and need to be below 1MB in size to load faster. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and know about the "Process Multiple Files" option. Unfortunately there's no way to change the actual file size, only the pixels. I need an option that lets me change the actual size of the files, hopefully at the same time.  Does anyone know if there's a way for me to process hundreds of files (that's how many need to be fixed!) so that the size is below 1MB? Thank you!!

After over an hour with the most unhelpful indian tech desk I have ever had the misfortune to encounter I am no closer to understanding if Elements 22 (Photoshop and Premiere) will work OK on a Macbook with an i5 processor. The requirements on the site state you need a "6th Generation" processor which I'm assuming is i6 so the answer would be "no" but the tech help desk seems to think it should work fine.Does anyone have any experience trying this?

For some reason, I can't apply (my own) frame to the document I'm editing.For the frame to be set, I have to save the document, close it, reopen it, and only then apply the frame to it. Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 20Windows 10 x 64

After moving Photoshop Elements 14 and it's catalog to a new computer, most, but not all, of my people icons/thumbnails are blurry even though the source picture is clear.  See attached for an example.  I've recreated all thumbnails but no improvement.  I also tried Photoshop Elements 2022 with not improvement.  Any ideas?

I have installed Photoshop elements 12 twice on the same Mac not realising you should uninstall the app first. My mac crashed and i had yo reinstall it a third time but when i get to the verify stage i can go no further.I have tried the chat line and have been told many many times they would phone me back, but i NEVER get a call. I tried the chat line again today and they said they do not support old versions. How the hell can they lock me out of a leagal copy of the app and just say "up yours".To say i am pi**ed off is an understatment!!
