In order to transfer my PSE catalog to a new computer, I was told by Adobe tech support to upgrade PSE on the old computer; backup the catalog in the 2021 version; restore on the new computer. Now, after installing PSE 2021 on the new computer, I'm being told that the serial number is no longer valid, perhaps because it was already installed on the old computer.  I posed this question to the Adobe tech support, and never received a reply.  So how do I activate PSE2021 on the new machine without having to purchase it again?  Do I de-install it on the old machine? Thanks

I purchased Adobe Elements 12 in 2013 at office Max and cannot get it to work.  Even have receipt.  The agent took so much of my time and cannot help me. Very federated. My first adobe purchase.  Frustrated with poor customer support and service.  Cannot rely on Adobe and their support and products are not too good.

I am running PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC (ver 21H1). My PC has an Intel i9-9900K CPU, 32 GB mem, 512 GB SSD C:drive, 2 TB HDD D:drive, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. My C:drive has 300 GB free and D:drive has 1.2 TB free. Windows 10 and the NVIDIA graphics card are both fully up-to-date. I was attempting to import about a dozen TIF images into my Organizer. The Organizer crashed during the import and shut down. After this crash, the Organizer crashes every time I try to reopen it. The TIF files were not that large - about 6000 px X 6000 px. There were two that were larger - about 10000 px X 10000 px. I had previously used the registry hack to increase the Organizer's MaxImageSize to 300 Megapixels (314,572,800). This registry hack was working and allowed me to have a few images that were about 11000 x 13000 px without the "broken" icon in the grid display. I can open these TIF files in the PSE Editor and I can view them with the Windows Picture Viewer w

I keep selecting a subject but it's selecting some parts that I don't need selected and when I deselect it removes everything that I selected 🤦🏻‍♀️Then, I don't know why it's not creating changing the background color after inverting. I'm doing something wrong. I also need to change backgrounds for multiple images - any advise?

I'm trying to backup my PSE 15 catalog to an external SSD so I can transfer it to my new PC, which is running PSE 2021. The problem is that PSE 15 tells me that my C: drive is too full to complete the backup. I've optimized/ deleted nearly all of my personal files from the C: drive to make room for this transfer... ....So ironically, it's the PSE 15 data itself that is filling up the lion's share of my hard drive. And I have TONS of room on my external SSD drive. Is there a way to utilize the ample space on my external SSD to complete this PSE catalog backup? Can I move the C: drive's PSE catalog data to my external SSD, and then initiate the backup? Or is there another way? After gigs and gigs of deletions, my C: drive still has only 10.7 GB remaining, and the majority of the used disk space is being used by PSE 15. Yet PSE15 is telling me that my C: drive is too full to complete the backup. It's a vicious cycle.

Hello! I'm new to this version of Photoshop and I'm trying to find the History brush (if there is one). I'm praying there is. I use it all the time to edit in small areas but still be able to go back and replace the original picture where I want it. Please tell me there is a history brush?? If so can someone tell me where it's located in Photoshop Elements 2018?

How can I set up Elements 2021 to use Windows Mail as default instead Outlook? 

I'd like to be able to search photos in the Organizer by Date Created and/ Date Modified.  Even better, I'd like to search for a range of dates in either of these fields.  Is this possible?

Last week I found a series of "engraving" or "etching" filters/effects on myPhotoshop Elements 14.1. One of the filters/effects was (as I recall) "Vintage newspaper illustration engraving (or etching)". It was really neat. However, I'd be damned if I could find these filters/effects again and spend the entire weekend with no luck. I see that there are some "add-ons" that you can download from the internet, but I am certain these engraving/etching filters/effects were built in, but not readily visible. It seems I must have stumbled upon this list. Does anyone know where these etching/engraving filters/effects can be found? There should be a list of different kinds (including one for "vintage newspaper illustration"). Thanks!  

Hello.  I have elements 15.  Totally new.  I am trying to reduce the size of a repeated image within a photo, not reduce the size of the photo itself.  Is this possible?  Thank you.  Claire

Until recently, I used Elements11 for printing images. I use an Epson R3000 which allows prints up to SuperB (A3+). When printing in Elements11, it was easy to choose from a dropdown list in the print dialogue box, which size I wanted to print. With Elements21, the dropsdown list available only shows options up to A4 even if I choose the 'more options' or 'advanced' buttons. I really need to print bigger than A4. Can anyone give me any pointers? Thanks, Tommy.

I have recently bought a new computer and have tried reinstalling PSE 13. I am getting an error message sayng the Activation code is already in use. I can't access my old computer any longer. How can I get passed this problem? I have looked on the web and cannot see any way of deactivating the software on old computers. Thks

Using Photoshop Elements 2020. Until recently I could rename a file of any length within the information field of the media panel using cut and paste from the caption field. I use that rather than the rename option under file menu as my preferred filenames are greater than 30 characters. Suddenly this stopped working, giving a message "file rename operation could not be completed". The operating system in Windows 10 with all updates installed.  Please advise how this functionality can be restored.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra that I used as my primary camera -- unfortunately none of the photos are viewable in Organizer.  I've tried adding a registry key for maximum image size limit, but it did nothing to help.  I'm a relative novice.  Didn't have any issues with my previous phones and/or cameras -- just this Samsung.  Any help would be appreiated.

When transferring files from my cell phone, I came to a stop with this message: "File cannot be created,um:dr:mu:programcard:5bf494bba11f9f15d82b3231.jpg.  Cannote create the specific file. The file name is invalid or you do not have the permission to save to the specific directory."The file is not found on the phone. I can see that it is a file once acessed from an official danish site (I viewed a video from this site) at some point in time. The transfer process halts when I come to this point and the only option is to press OK which then aborts the transfer process. What to do ?Secondly, can it really be that Adobe in the "Get Photos" menu does not allow me to select a date interval of the pictures on my phone I wish to import ? If not, is that a possiblity if I upgrade to the newest version of Adobe ?Thirdly, some videos taken with my Samsung S10+ imports , but will not display in Adobe Elements 13. Can this be fixed (how) and if not, will it work if I upgrade my Adobe to the n

I have PSE 2020 installed. Recently my color picker has changed from photo 1 to photo 2. Is there any way to get the old color picker back?

I want to merge 2 images together as easily as Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 this is no longer possible with the new Photoshop Elements 21 ?  thanks for your help

I am trying to install Photoshop 2021 from DVD but the installation fails with error code 127. The advice given is to check permissions on [Windows]: <system drive>\adobetemp, however this directory does not exist on my system. Any advice would be useful.

Hi, I am trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 19. I have the latest operating system on Widows 10, no updates needed and I have internet explorer 11 and Edge but I keep getting this message "Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system."I contacted support but told me to post my query here. They also told me to try a download link  and try emptying my ccache and cookies beforehand, I did this and still didn't work.Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I am new to Photoshop, and am wanting to create a logo. I have used photoshop in the past for basic things. When I watch a video, they have a window full of layer styles, but I only have Drop Shadow, Glow, Bevel, and Smoke. I find this tab by going to layer, then layer style , style settings. I am on Mac OSX Sierra.
