Hello,  I'm ready to upgrade to PhotoShop Elements (PE) 2021 from PE11.  Reason being PE11 will not read my ORF files from my new Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mk ii.  I've read that updates for PE 11 are no longer available.   I was reading the requirements for the new PE 2021 and it mentioned that I need a 6th generation Intel.  I have and Intel I-5 4th generation with 12GB of Ram.  Will the new Photoshop elements 2021 work?  I don't want to have to up grade my pc.  

Hi all,I had Elements 14 installed on my pc. I have signed out and have it uninstalled.I installed it on my laptop and now I get the message that the serial number is in use for the maximal amount of computers. I have clicked on "Activate again. I have deactivated one of my other computers".  But nothing happens.What to do next?Thanks beforehand,Fokke

any info on PSE 2020 compatability with new Imac running M1 chip? 

Changed out my motherboard and processor.  Moved hard drive (with Elements 15 installed and working on it for years) to the new motherboard.  Computer is working fine, but Elements 15 will not start.  It asks me to sign in, and when I do it offers to let me buy Elements 15.  I have the 24 digit installation code from the origional disc, but have misplaced the disc so I cannot reinstall Elements 15.

Hello I buy two years ago PS element. But when i want to réinstall my software with Catalina, it ask me an update. I don't want to pay for this. How can i do?thank's for your answer.

I had bought a Photoshop Elements 2018 few years ago for Windows at that time; I recently bought a iMac and it has Big Sur. I am new to Macs.I downloaded the mac version of PS Elements 2018 from my orders page and tried installing and it says the developer needs to update the install.  What are my options to use my previously paid for PS Elements 2018 on my new iMac?  

I'm using Elements 20, and have purchased templates from a designer. However, the layers do not open, so I cannot add photos, elements etc. Is there an easy way to open the layers? I have been in touch with the designer, and followed the way she told me to do it, but it doesn't work. Thanks, Linda

Ich gab den key ein. Nun kam die Meldung ist für Adope Photoshop Elements 2020 nicht gültig.Ich habe immer für die Software bezahlt. Da ich Pensioniert bin brauche ich die Bildbearbeitung, im Gegensatz zu früher, wenig.Den Key bekam ich von einem Händler, da die Dowenlaodversion billiger war als eine CD, die herumliegt. downloade ich sie. Ich habe eine schnelle Internetleitung.Wo kann ich den Key hinterlegen?   

Nach ca. 2 Jahren läuft PSE 2019 nicht mehr auf meinem WIN10-Rechner. Der Zugriff auf die Metadaten ist blockiert. Der PC wurde komplett upgedated. Eine Neuinstallation von PSE 2019 ist trotzdem nicht mehr möglich. PSE 2021 läuft ohne Probleme. Obwohl PSE 2019 noch im Support ist soll ich "animiert" werden die neueste PSE-Version kaufen. Da denke ich nicht dran! Als Hobby-Fotograf benötige ich kein Adobe PS-Abo und auch nicht alle 2 Jahre eine neue Adobe-Software. Ich werde dann eben eine andere Software benutzen und auf Adobe verzichten. Offensichtlich bin ich hier in der Community nicht der Einzige mit diesem Problem. 

This error message appears when i try to restore the catalog despite having done this successfully from the same external drive before, and there is no firmware upgrade for the drive. I have all the photos restored but without a  catalog. Moving the backup to a different drive still results in the same error message. Old backups I have restored successfully before also produce the same error message now. I have also tried reinstalling the PSE elemsnts 8 program. What can I try to circumvent or correct this. Any ideas??  

Hello, I have photoshop and premiere elements 13. I want to upgrade to 2021 version. Do I need to buy the full license or I am eligible for the upgrade. I am not sure if the upgrade is only for one version a year before? Thanks everyone

After a recent upgrade to Elements 19 from a much older version, when I choose sort by newest in the Organizer dropdown in my main grid, my pictures show in correct DATE order but within the day the time is still oldest first within each day. If I pick Oldest in the dropdown it is fine. Any ideas?

Trying to run a catalog backup, but the program says "Your system is low on disk space, and Elements Organizer cannot perform this operation." It says it will need 343 GB. I have more than a TB free on my C drive. Can anyone help?

My PSE 2019 has suddenly stopped working?? I'ne always used the selection brush tool to get as ggod a selection as possible - then use the refine edge selection brush to refine - but all I get is a ping!!Anyone any ideas.Thanks

I just purchased PSE 10 on eBay. It installed fine, but I can't seem to register the product. If I understand correctly, it is probably because the original owner (not the person I purchased it from on eBay) did not do a transfer of product. Will this effect anything, e.g. upgrades, etc.?

When opening some image files in Elements I receive the message "This file was created to be viewed on a television screen ... it is recommended that you use a video monitor to preview and edit this image." What is the image property that is driving the message? Most recently the images were created by exporting a PDF to a PNG in Adobe Acrobat, but the source varies. What am I missing? Where do I fix this error?Thanks,

I just purchased APE 2021 on July 22. After communicating with Adobe Care, I uninstalled then reinstalled the program, but defect still exists. I can't see the mistakes I make when I'm typing. Editing gives me the same hassle; I can't see what I'm editing either. Image 1 below shows the line before typing. Image 2 shows the line after typing. The text is not visible. The background is white & the text is black. Image 3 shows the text only after clicking the check mark. Image 5 shows the grayed out update button. Due to this malfunction, I can't update APE 2021. I updated Windows 10, but it didn't fix the problem. Does anybody have the same problem with APE 2021 version? Hello again!  A friend of mine wants to purchase Elements 2021, but she has a couple of questions which I am now asking here for her. The laptop she is thinking of buying is an HP 17inch Win10 Home, x64, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, with Left/Right clicks and DVD Writer.  It comes with Intel Celeron N4020 (I have no idea what generation that is) I purchased my new Elements 2021 and my new HP laptop a couple of months ago and I received some really good information and help from some of the people here.  I've been talking to her about Elements 2021 and she's interested in purchasing it. Will the Intel Celeron N4020 be sufficient for Elements 2021?  If not, what kind of Graphic card should be appropriate for Elements 2021? Thank you for your assistance.

I purchased the upgrade to PSE 2021 on the App Store. Here is About box:  Is that the latest version? If not, how can I get the latest version? Also, I'd experienced a crash when choosing Save for Web, but that no longer happens. Was there some kind of automatic update?

I have a very slow connection.  It took me 6 hours to install PS Elements 2021 today.How do I solve this error message without uninstalling the program? Error Message:Your application is dynamically linked with Intel (R) IPP libraries version 2020.0.1(r0x35c5ec66)No DLL from the list below is found on the system search path.ippcvm7.dll is the best suitable for your CPU--------------------------------------------------------I have no clue about what this means or the expertise to make changes.Del Chausse in Paso Robles, California 

I'm currently using Photoshop Elements 11 - no problem in Mac Mojave ...it looks now to be impossible to use that if I updated to Catalina .... is there any possible workaround with Catalina to still use Elements 11 ... or is it best just not to update my OS .... thanks for any advice .... I really want to update ... but don't want to use my current version of Elements .... 

Processing multiple files in photoshop elements editor stops with this message: "A command was canceled or stopped while processing multiple files. Continue with next file or stop?" If I press "continue", one file is deleted and not processed.

is there an easy peasy way to automatically add copyright metadata to my images? I watched a 10 step process for Photoshop. Too complicated to follow a long period.  

I have not upgraded my camera.  But my photoshop has stopped being able to open RAW files.  That is has always opened without an issue.  I have an Nikon D3500 camera.  I have updated my Camera RAW plug-in (this includes version 11.4 and 13.3), re-installed Photoshop, Downloaded Adobe DNG Converter - and converted my NEF files into DNG.  It will not open either file types.  It states "It can't open the file as it is not the right type of document."  I have gone back to RAW files that I have edited before, same thing.  I have read the forums and can't find any other steps to take...  Anyone???
