Questions

Hi all, I've seen several posts asking versions of this question, but not a definitive answer. I know that iPhone 12 video is Dolby Vision HDR, HEVC. Been editing in iMovie and was ready to move to Premiere Elements. Imported video looks super hot in the PrE preview, and is also wrong when exported. Can Premiere Elements Mac not work with iPhone 12 video? In other posts, I've seen users say that Adobe support told them engineers are working on it, one has Support replying to turn off HDR on the iPhone, and a few say the iPhone video has to be converted. Seems like this should be a pretty simple question? Either Premiere Elements can work with native iPhone 12 video, or it can't. Based on what my imported video looks like, I'm assuming it still can't. But if the answer is actually yes, I'd love to know what I'm not doing right! Thanks,B 

I'm creating 2 videos of some coworkers in training for an event - a "before", and an "after" to be posted about a week later. I have them set up with three music scores. Intro/body/finish. For the body, I am using the provided "The Flux" music score. It one video it comes out fine. In the other the beginning of it is garbled for a few seconds. I've fussed with this far longer than I wanted to today. The only way the audio comes out ok in the problem video is if I put the track at the beginning of the timeline - but I don't want it there! Help!Premiere Elements 2020, version 18.0.0.0 (I don't seem to be able to check for updates). Windows 10 with all the updates. 

I took some videos with my phone upside down. The videos have metadata like "rotate: 180", which I confirmed with ffmpeg. So with other tools, for example Google Photos and the default Windows video player, these videos are played in normal orientation. But in Elements Organizer 15, they are played upside down. What is worse, Adobe Premiere Elements 15 cannot add those videos to a project showing an error message. I know Organizer 15 and Premiere Elements 15 are quite old. My question is, does the latest version of Organizer and Premiere Elements support such rotated videos?

I've been using Prenier Elements 2020 for a year now. Today I opened it, but when I presses play it didn't work. My hard drive was full so I made plenty of space, but that didn't fix it. I uninstalled premier elements and reinstalled it, then restarted my machine. It still doesn't work. Help!

is it possible to add a background image in premiere elements 2021 that will constantly play in the background for the entire video?

I have cellphone footage that I've edited in Movie Maker and exported. It's 16:9 aspect ratio with black bars on the side. Is it possible to crop the sides off and set the aspect ratio to vertical so that when the video is viewed on YouTube on mobile devices the video fills the screen? (I have Premiere Elements 15)

I wanted to make a video from daily screenshots of one of my security cameras to show our fertilization tech how some weeds have suddenly appeared in the lawn over just the last two to three weeks. I brought the stills into Photoshop Premiere Elements 2021. I tried making the time for each fram less than the default of 1 second but it kept going back to one second. That is not so bad as it provides enough time for each frame to register in the brain before moving on to the next one. Here are a couple of things I'd like to improve on.1. The screen captures from my phone had some extraneous material, maily on top and on the right so I cropped the image but this resulted in a sort of letter box effect and I would prefer the movie to be more full-frame.2. I would like to add titles in the lower left corner using the file name of each file so one can see what date one is looking at. i need to export but i keep getting errors

I captured 11 hours of video from one of my security cameras with playback set to 16x realtime. I used the XBOX screen capture app. The resulting video was 45 minutes. I wanted to compress it to about 2 minutes so I tried using Clip > Timestretch and was going to type 2000 percent. But as soon as I type the 2, the Speed field changes from 100% to -3.23%. It shows two more zeros because I then types two zeros after the 2, hoping that would overwite the -3.23 but it did not. Please see screenshots below. The capture I did is .mp4 format. I have used time stretch before in Premiere Elements 2021 to speed up video I shot with my drone and that is also .mp4 format so I don't know what is going on. The only difference is that I used the CROP effect to crop the video frame first.Thanks,Don 

Hello! I bought Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements in 2013 on my Mac. The current version I have is Premiere Elements 12. I am trying to upgrade to the newest version of Premiere, but when I log into my account and go to my apps there is no option to upgrade. When I search Premier into the account application page, only Premiere Pro and Rush show up, with options to purchase. The only applications visible on my account are Photoshop and Lightroom, which I am paying for a subscription currently.Can you guys help me out with this please? Hello, I am frustraded, that I thought, that Adobe Premier Elements 2019 start a new project, by dropping UHD films, NOT in UHD (= QFHD 16x9 25), rather in actuall standard define: 1080i :-(((( So my question to you is: How (and where) can I setup Adobe Premier Elements 2019, that Projects starts always in PAL -> QFHD (UHD) 16x9 25, when I drop a film, or just hit new project, withou going in the settings and define PAL -> QFHD (UHD) 16x9 25 manually? Thanks for your help.

Hello My problem is as follows,I have elements installed on two different machines over a few month. now I have in each machine different developments, like tags and folders. I need to terminate one of the machines.How can I merge the two differnt Contents????Is there a way to avoid double entrys?I am really a bit lost here, sinc I can not find any help in the adobe world (as I know it)Thank you for any tips

After Windows 10 v 20H2 upgrade premiere elements 12 will not load. I have reinstalled the software upgraded the graphics drivers and the welcome screen just sits there and will not open existing or create new.

Hi All, I hope you can helpin 2021, in Expert view, when I make a cut it does not cut all of the tracks that have loaded from the original video and leaves the voice and music tracks uncut. Then if I try to delete and close the gap of the cut section those uncut tracks prevent the Audio 1 and Video 1 from closing. How do I make a single cut that goes through all of the tracks or alternately, just load the videos I am trying to edit onto just the Audio 1 and Video 1 tracks?Thanks for your help,Marc

Ich habe Adobe Premiere Elements und Photoshop 2021 erworben.Photoshop (Fotoeditor) und Organizer funktionieren ohne Probleme.Nur Elements (Videoeditor) bricht beim Starten ab. Ich bekomme die Meldung sie unten, nach ca. 50 Sekunden erlischt die Anzeige und passiert nichts mehr.Historie: Ich habe schon mal probiert das Programm zu aktivieren und habe den Hinweis erhalten, dass das Programm auf einen anderen Rechner installiert ist, das ich deaktiveren müsste. Ich habe, dass Programm auf dem anderen Rechner deaktiviert, aber irgendwie kann ich es nicht auf dem Notebook aktivieren. Es kommt auch nicht mehr die Maske, wo ich aufgefordert werde Seriennummer eingeben kann. Ich schon mehrmals das Programm deinstalliert und neu installiert. Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen. Vielen Dank im voraus.Ich benutze ein Acer Notebook Concept D3 Pro mit Core i7 10th Gen mit einer nvidia Quadro T1000.

My config: Imac 27 "5K 2017 - 4,2Ghz Core I7 4 cores 64 GB of RAM and Radeon 580 8 GB graphics card.Prem.Elements 2021 that I just installed is very slow. The video files are HD720 5Mbits / s (very small) and do not play smoothly. While I have no problem with them in Premiere Pro CC 2021 or Final Cut 10.5 installed on this same computer. I recently edited 360 ° videos on this machine in 6K without any worries (on FCPX).The user interface is very slow (Zoom of the monitor, of the timeline, manual movement of the playhead ...). My projects are adjusted identically to the characteristics of my source videos.I uninstalled the software with the utility provided by Adobe, installed again ... Dumped the PRAM from my Mac (CMD + Option + P + R). Increased the Premiere Elements cache from 2 to 10GB ... I emptied the Premiere Elements cache ... I don't know what else to do 😞

I am currently using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 as my video editor and was wondering if there was a way to play two different videos of people singing the same song and getting it to synchronize somehow.  I know there is the video collage option but I was hoping to be able to get both people synchronized with the song they are singing.

Brand new gaming PC, top of the line- i7 6700k, 32 gb ram, 256ssd, 2 tb hard drive, nvidia gtx 1080.  The pc is literally 2 weeks old.  Runs flawlessly.  And for the most part Premiere Elements 15 runs as well 14 did on my old Windows 7 pc, but when I use Hollywood Effects (dreamy look), it freezes the system.  Not all the time, but most of the time.  It is an effect I use a lot.  Anyone have this issue before?  No other effects seem to be problematic.  Any solution?  If not, this is one for the bugs/glitch team to work on.  Thanks. 

Windows 10 Adobe Premiere 15 (Hollywood Effects Dreamy Freezing Premiere)Almost every time I try to apply the dreamy effect the system freezes up. Seems to only happen on the effect. I am using Expect mode and I am rendering my video prior to applying the effect. And I do have the latest drives.Your help is greatly appreciated as this is the most important effect for my work.I found this link but there never was a final answer!Windows 10 Adobe Premiere 15 (Hollywood Effects Dreamy Freezing Premiere)  

when starting elements 2021, it showed a info box, that it´s collecting personal data for user experience which can be revoked at any time in user setting, well I didn´t find anything in all the settings to block or deny any kind of data collection - does anybody know where to block this - btw I´m using an EU Version. thx 4 any feedback
