If I purchase Premiere Elements 2021 and later find that my computer does not handle this version well can I revert to Premiere Elements 2020 using the same lisence key?

I am new to Premiere Elements (2020), just upgraded from just Photoshop elements to be able to edit video. I'm probably missing something but I cant seem to get Video Projects to show in Organiser, the video files themselves show up but not any Projects. Have tried opening directly from organiser (get unsupported file type error for .prel file) and have also tried "Inport in Bulk" option but it just ignores the files. I do have View, Media types, Projects selected. Is this a bug or something I am missing?

As a new user, we are trying to identify which actions in the Adobe Elements Organizer backup can be helpful and which actions might be potentially destructive.  Here are a few questions: It appears the backup is backing up the Adobe Elements Organizer catalogs and the actual original media files from the hard disk into one backup file, is that correct?Is there a way to only backup the Organizer catalogs and not the actual media files?When we restore a backup, we assume it will overwrite existing files in the same destination, so could be potentially destructive?When Organizer recognizes people, is the information appended to the original file on disk or just saved in a catalog?  In other words, does the face recognition information, such as names, attach as metadata and transfer with copies of the actual media files on the hard disk?When reconnecting folders, moved outside of Organizer, can we reconnect to a folder and will Organizer recognize the same underlying hierar

Each time I open Adobe Premier Elements 2021, I get a screen with options to select Organizer, Photo Editor or Video Editor.  Is there a way to bypass this screen and simply open the Video Editor ??

When exporting a video it doesnt generate an mp4 file video file but instead it creates an mp4 file containing only the audio and an m4v file with a weird name that can't be opened. The m4v file also can't be deleted while premiere elements is running, suggesting it still busy with the file. I have reinstalled premiere elements 2020 completely and use windows 10.

I have multiple trims on my timeline from one original file and I'd like to export them as individual files. Is this possible? Haven't found answer in Google or online help.

Bonjour, je perds systématiquement mes projets quand je ne vais pas dessus pendant quelques temps. LE projet existe, mais il ne reconnait plus rien ou me dir qu'il y a des problèmes de compatibilité.Par contre, dans le projet il reconnait bien les temps de chacun des rushs mais il n'affiche aucune image, ni aucun son.En vidéo, j'utilise un drone DJI en 4K et visiblement, Premiere element n'en reconnait pas le format. J'ai téléchargé ce qu'il faut pour que ça fonctionne mais rien n'y fait. Comment puis-je faire pour retrouver mon travail.J'ai payé ce logiciel. Dois-je aller chez un concurent qui fonctionnera mieux ? Merci

I have a slideshow, created in Windows Movie Maker, that I imported into Elements. When viewing the slideshow before import, the zoom and panning is smooth, but after it gets imported into Elements it becomes kinda choppy and not smooth-looking. Why's that, and is there anything I can do about it?

How do I turn off the preference for sharing info with Adobe please? I looked in my account which is where it says the option is but I could not find it. Thanks

Just bought Adobe Elements 2020. Started a new project with two film clips from two different Canon Legria cameras. They look perfect when I preview in VLC, but in Elements one video appears with pink stripes, the other one is all pink, with a green reflection in the right corner. Happy to receive any helpful tips on this!

I have my photo slideshow almost finished. Is there a way to pan & zoom all photos at once? I think the motion would be a nice addition. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

On my video timeline I posted an animation of a "Subscribe" clip that I found online. This animation by itself is on a green background but when I place this animation over my video, it blends with the existing video background and it's fine (green background disappears). However, when I go to Export and Save this video at 4K, the final video shows the little animation on the green background over my existing video. Is there a way to have this green background for my animation not show when I save the video? See attached screenshot. Please help. Thank you. 

I build a new desktop and moved the drive containing PE13 to this desktop. I can not deactivate it on the old one so it continues to request deactivation because it is in use on to many computers.How can I deactivate PE13 on a not existing computer.

Adding media to my Project in Premier Elements 2019, it will not allow me to import MP4s saying they are either not supported or the required codec is not installed.  I have always imported MP4s. ???

I currently have Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on my computer.  Is it worth upgrading to version 2021?  Any noteworthy features or just minor tweaks?  My computer is Windows 10 latest version.  Thanks for any help.  

Hello, I recently had to reinstall the OS on my iMac. It turns out that Premier Elements 18 (that I had bought) is no longer compatible with OS Catalina. Tried dowloading PE 2021 but it does not work with the license I have. Does this mean that what I paid for this software is lost? ThanksS.

I installed Premiere Elements in the end of 2018 and it worked fine. Then, a few months after it started freezing on PlayerMediaCore.prm but this was because I wasn't updating the graphic driver. But then, about 2 weeks ago, Premiere crashes each time I try to open it but it makes no crash report and it doesn't give me any message to say why it doesn't work. This time, it has stopped working after I updated the graphic driver so I installed the old one again but it didn't work. I've tried all the solutions given to solve this (DS.ForceCPUonly true false; doesn't work). So, I contacted the support, I ran a cleaner on my computer and installed an older version of Premiere Elements 2019 but it still doesn't open. To understand what happens, I looked into the logs of the software and in the Plugin Loading.log it says this :Loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 2019\Plug-ins\Common\PlayerMediaCore.prmLoading from disk...There was an error loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adob

Just downloaded elements 2021 after using 2019 for a couple of years and the right click on selected clip don't bring up options eg fade in and out etc , any ideas anybody ? All's it brings up is small preview box as if left clicking on clip thanks guys mike 

This request for advice is primarily aimed at Steve & colleagues plus any Adobe folks who look in here. My current PC:Intel Core i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400 & Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Sp1I edit HD videos & my current CPU only gives a benchmark value of 3,267 ("High-Mid Range") BUT I do use a SSD for both C: & D drives (adding the latter made a big difference).  I use PE 14.1 Givens for the new PC: 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB for OS & users files, WIN10.  Two monitors will be attached.  4k work not excluded in the future.  I'd invest in PE 2021 even though I am happy with PE 14.1 (unfortunately I don't have the installation file although I do have the Serial number). My question concerns the CPU:  We are considering:1) AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, 4C/8T, 3.70-4.20GHz.  Benchmark value 9,4152) AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 6C/12T, 3.60-4.20GHz.  Benchmark value 17,857 Option (2) is slightly more expensive - als

Hi all,Just bought the latest Alements Premier software having had a 5 year old one on a old laptop and every time i go to use the pan and zoom tool, if it's a crowded picture it's making the clip 30 seconds long and adding half a dozen frames... it's driving me blooming mad!I think i have worked out that it's called auto analyzer but having watched a tutorial to turn it off, my version does not have the AutoAnalyzer tab in preferences so i can't seem to stop it!Any ideas?  Cheers in advance to anyone who can help

Is there a step that I am missing I export my video to AVCHD and I do not get a M2T file.

hello.  im trying to move already loaded and used clips between asset folders but it will only show the grab hand grabbing the clip.  the target folder shows a no-go symbol when i try and move. sry about no capital letters. im one handed 

This program was working flawlessly just about a month ago.  The only variable I can think of is I think there was some Windows 10 upgrade (my icons look different).  I'm running the 64-bit version  Any suggestions on a fix. I noticed that after the splash screen either it closes or looks like it going to the editing workspace and then closes.  I don't know if the Import Quicktime.prm has anything to do with it as it pauses there a few seconds before it closes but I don't see why all of sudden that would cause a problem when I haven't installed or uninstalled any software.

Every couple years I try Premiere Elements to see if it's improved... I'm baffled why mouse wheel zoom is still not implemented like most other decent NLEs (including Premiere Pro).
