Questions

I'm reinstalling Premier Elements 2018 to a new computer. I get the message that my activation code needs to be deactivated on another computer before it can be used again. There is no "deactivate" choice under the help menu on the other computer. I tried clicking on "Sign out..." (assuming that's the same as deactivate), and I get an error message that my copy of Premier Elements is corrupted and to reinstall. I can't reinstall because the other computer is running macOS Catalina and the installer for Premier Elements 2018 is 32-bit. How can I get it deactivated without reinstalling it?

Attempting to create new project video using 2.7k 60fps footage. What should I set project setting to in order to be able to edit this footage? Currently set to NTSC - AVCHD 1080p60, however, when I drop in my first clip the video plays in slow motion and the audio plays normal speed not lined up. I have tried the 60 5.1 channel and 1080i 30fps but neither seem to work. I have also tried "interpret footage" and setting it to 60fps but that doesn't seem to work either. Is Adobe premiere elements 2019 only compatable with footage taken in 1080p not any higher resolutions. Also, if i am ever able to edit and complete this video, what should i export it in? Thanks

When I creating a movie, I don't have a preview sound. I can't hear sound from added movies or music even the sound suggested by the program. Only after export, the music / voice is played normally. It is hard problem for me. What is the reason? Has anyone encountered such a problem?

My clip looks good (right side) when viewed in the monitor window or double clicked from media assets  but once it is on the timeline the colors go negative (left side).  How do I fix this? 

Does Premiere elements 15 Support a .cpi extension file? I have a recorded concert and I would like to put it together but each of the .mts files literally loses a second of sound before the end. Apparently, this may resolve importing other files into the assembly program, except .mts but I don't know how to do it.  

I have been trying to edit a clip in PE15 and all has been good, for the first minute, after a while of trying to find out what the problem is I Noticed that the problem I was facing was that whenever the video was conformed (progress bar in bottom right of screen) the audio would stop working. The audio clip still says that audio should be playing but I'm not hearing anything, I have checked to see if its my sound being off and simple things like that etc. but I cant seem to find a solution, anyone have any ideas?

Migrated Premiere Elements and files to new Macbook Pro 13 running Catalina. Set audio output to Macbook Pro Speakers. Set input to No input (or Macbook microphone). .prel file plays back fine on my old Macbook, but on the new one, no sound is heard. Master audio display show audio levels happening. Other programs will play audio fine. Any ideas? Thank you!

I have a video file that uses codec Prores 422 HQ (apch). Media import only brings in the audio, not the video. There is a published solution for Elements 2018, https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/import-mov-prores-issues.html but it doesn't work for 2020. The "Find QT.EnableDirectProResDecode" parameter does not even exist in the "Open Debug Database.txt" file found in the analagous "%appdata%/Adobe/Premiere Elements/18.0" folder. I'm on Windows 10 and the video can be displayed and edited in Corel Video Studio, and displayed in VLC, Windows Media Player, and Quicktime 7, so there is presumably a codec available somewhere. There are $$$ alternatives aplenty, but I must use THIS product. Can anyone help?

I have created a web DVD with premiere elements 10 of a video approx 36 mins long. I have sent this over the Internet using Google Drive .While the content of the file was received I cannot get the video to play.Each individual section of the video can be opened and played but using the "Play Video" command only text is displayed.Have i made a mistake in creating the web DVD or not using the correct procedure to play the video.Is elements 10 out of date for this purpose?Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,I can't seem to figure out what the problem is when I am exporting a video. I'm attempting to export what seemed like a simple video but I can't seem to export it at all. I have installed the hindi/devnagari fonts in my operating system. But when I try to add subtitles in hindi it's not properly rendered (it's showing in the hindi language but not rendered properly)..... I faced the same issue in photoshop as well but it was solved by selecting "Preferences>Type>Middle Eastern and South Asian".Is there any setting like that or any other solution for this issue?

I have been having trouble posting Videos to YouTube - they will not complete posting via the "online" option in my Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 - have not had this problem in the past but sporatic in Adobe Premiere Elements 2020

I have a Uncle that wants Photoshop and Premeire Elemets 2020 bundle but he has no internet access at his house.  We would setup and install it on his laptop while online. The program must work offline for months at a time after that.  Is this possible?  How would we download all the music, transitions etc at once while online instead of when we use them and he is offline?

I have a weird problem. The program starts but when I press the play button nothing happensand the video material does not play.I use windows10, soundcard NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER

When I add my footage to the timeline and have no video preview playing the still image is quite blurred. Now when I start playing the video it smoothes out and the quality looks good again. Rendering fixes this so the quality is always high, even when paused.  If I add text to my footage and render the timeline again the text and footage become very blurred and the quality drops a lot. This shows in both the video preview and final exported file.  If I go back and add new footage to a project that I worked on before, the new footage I add becomes incredibly blurred when rendered in the timeline. I made sure to check it was recorded with the exact same settings. This blurred footage also shows in the final product.  Now I could choose not to render the timeline but that makes the video playback incredibly laggy and makes it hard to see what is happening on the screen.  Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? 

Hello, i attached 2 files which shows the difference between them, the one doesnt have the option "Export Files" in the German Version. I also tried to go Files-> Export -> Title it doesnt work. Is this a bug or do I need to do something ?PLEASE HELP Its Adobe Premiere Elements 2020do I need the Pro Version to do this ?

I'm trying to setup a video where there is 55 hours of footage in the timeline which I then want to time stretch down to about 5 minutes. I have the following questions: 1) The application only appear to allow up to 24 hours of video clips to be added to the timeline. Can this limit be removed or increased in Elements? Is this limitation removed in Premiere Pro?2) On testing time stretch with 22 hours of clips the lowest I can get the timeline to condense down to is 20 minutes. Is what I'm trying to do possible and if so is time stretch the correct method of achieving what I'm trying to do or is there a better method? The above is being tested on the 30 day trial of Premiere Elements but if I can get it to work I intend to purchase the program. Thanks in AdvanceDave

I use photos and video clips and music to create travel videos and am looking to upgrade from the free editor I have been using.  I am no expert at video editing and would like to be able to create something interesting to look at without having to study long and hard to get there.It sounds like both these programs can accomplish it but which one would you suggest and why?Thank you,Sharon

I recently converted to PRE20 from PRE12.  In PRE12, I could create an 8.6 GB folder, then use Imgburn to create DL DVD's.  In PRE20, I created an 8.6 DL ISO file.  Then attempted to burn the DL DVD with the same version of Imgburn.  Imgburn displays the following message (attached MS Word file) and will not burn the DL DVD.  (BTW - I am disappointed that Adobe has removed the ability to burn directly to DVD and Blu-Ray in PRE20.)

I'm trialing Premiere on my 14" laptop and everything is so small. I have seen it on a 15" and everything is nice and big. Any ideas

I'm editing mp4 files from a video camera. I've been using Elements 2018 for a year with no problem when suddenly, after I clip a section out, the audio no longer matches the video. I bought 2020 and the same thing happens. I tried running it through Handbrake and I get a stop and start look for the video although the audio sounds fine. 

I bought the DVD of Elements 2020.  I installed it on my MAC & then was asked to sign in. Then it asks me to enter Redemption Code & it says it's invalid.  I tried on different browers. I can't get to the serial number. There is not a serial number on the sleeve of either disk.
