Questions

When I use the Pan & Zoom tool on a clip (in PE 2018), it affects/moves/ripples nearby clips in the same track and clips in adjacent tracks. Is it possible to suppress this behavior so that P&Z applied to a clip does not affect any other clips in my project? Here's another, related question:  Can I achieve the same Pan& Zoom tool effects by animating Position, Scale and Scale Width keyframes?

Hello, When I attempt to open a .prel file, this is what happens:If I click a file this box comes up:If I just hit cancel, the file loads with this message and is unplayable:Does this happen because I deleted all of my raw video footage from this computer? It still doesn't work even if the raw footage is on the same computer. Does the raw footage have to be in a special folder? Is this happening because of a version update? Will I ever get this .prel to open again. Thank you.

Hi, I am new to creating videos on Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and I am struggling to change the colour of my general motion theme. I am using the formal general theme and it gives me a choice of 8 colours under graphics, however none of these colours is the one I want to use (I want dark green and it only gives me a light green option). Does anyone know how I can change the graphics colour to the one of my choosing?

From Premiere Elements 14 I have downloaded all the menu templates, but they do not appear in the Movie Menu.How can I access them?Please help me,Fleming.

Hi all! I'm now in the middle of editing my first Music Video in Premiere Pro 2020 and have the following issue: I acidently recorded most of my 'performance' shots at 50fps. Now I have both 25fps and 50fps clips into the same sequence synchronized up with the song.When I view the edit in Premiere Pro everyting plays at 'normal speed' (which I want) But once I export the file most of my 60fps shots are speeded up. When I searched for an answer I could only find solutions where the video is slowed down. I don't want that for the performance shots otherwise the audio isn't synchronized with the video. How do I export my edit and make sure the video plays at 'normal speed' and with the audio syncronized once I view it outside of premiere pro?How do I make sure my 50fps videos play at normal speed (just like the 25fps videos) after exporting?

I have only just started using Premiere Elecments 2020 and have noticed an issue with a couple of the final productions after render has completed.When viewing the rendered video it would appear that the video camera was bouncing during filming, but it wasn't. If raw footage from camera in viewed on PC it is perfectly stable. Camera was set up on tripod on tiled floor. I have done several videos using same camera/same location/setup without any issue. Have only noticed this is two videos, the latest being yesterday.My system is as follows. Video camera is a Sony FDR-AX33REC Mode - High QualityFrame Rate - 50iFile Format - AVCHD Premiere Output Settings I have noticed that during rendering my processor is running at 97-98%.I am only a beginner at this and am basically using all default settings in Premiere.Thanks for your assiatnce if you able to help out.

I keep getting an error message when i try to export  a  21 minute movie, the message comes at 100%. I split the  movie in half and can make two parts and they export fine, but again when i try to link them in new project i get an errror message at 100%.  im running windows 7, lots of ram. i7 chipset, excellent graphics card. whats going on? its elements 2020. oh ive restarted my computer and still no joy.

I reinstalled Windows on my computer and then Adobe Premiere Elements 11. Now some of my Adobe Premiere Elements projects don't open anymore, some still do. Fault report states: project seems to be damaged, it can't be opened. Any ideas?

Dear Ann, I have copied all my Video 8 movies to my Mac. The copied movies on my Mac are in the mp4 format.When I use my Elements Premiere 15 to playback these movies they are fine. When I edit multiple clips from several mp4 movies to make a new movie the voice & movie are out of sync. Can this issue be solved? (I have tried a number of sources to rectify this issue but none have given me a satisfactory solution). The handbrake solution did not make any difference when I tried it on some movies& the other solutions are too complex & out of my competance level. I bought this software to make copying as easy as possible & I have been (for the most part) happy with Elements Premiere 15, but I would really appreciate advice on how to get voice & movie in sync, which is very frustrating. I am using Premeier Elements 2020 on a laptop with 3840x2160 display and would be very grateful for some advice. When I want to move handles or anchor points I have great difficulty in seeing them as they are displayed so finely, particularly if the image or clip has a dark background, even when the image is displayed at maximum size. Is there anything I can do to change their thickness or colour? Or some other way of dealing with this problem? CheersJim

Hello everybody. I just bought PREMIERE ELEMENTS 2019 and a new laptop to work on my videos and pictures.The problem is with the preview while editing the videos. The videos just get stuck after stuttering and aren't smooth at all. It is really frustrating and difficult to work with.No problem with the exporting, just during the editing.Here are my PC specs: - i7-10510 U processor- 16 GB RAM- NVIDIA MX110 - 2GB- SSD Drive - WINDOWS 10- everything is updated (latest drivers, etc...) I know the GPU is not be involved (which is in PREMIERE PRO) but the processor, mainly working with 1080p FULL HD 60fps, should be more than fine. The same problem occurs if I lower the preview quality.Any tip? thank you so much.Luke

ich habe gerade versucht die gekaufte DVD premiere elements 2020 zu installieren (OS Catalina). Die DVD startet, eine Anmeldung mit der Adobe ID ist möglich, jedoch erhalte ich kurz darauf die Meldung Installationsfehler Fehlercode 1. (Core-Komponenten konnten nicht installiert/aktualisiert werden) Auf meinem Mac ist auch noch Premiere Elements 11 installiert - ich möchte die Version PE11 jedoch nicht deinstallieren, da ich fürchte, daß meine gesamten Dateien aus diesem Programm (organizer) weg sind, die brauche ich aber noch zum Bearbeiten. Bitte dringend um Hilfe  

I'm using Premier Elements 2020 on a Macbook Air, and trying to do my first video using stills. When I drag some of the stills from the Project Assets onto the timeline, they appear just as a green box. The image appears OK in the monitor, but I'd like to see it on the timeline to aid in editing. How can I see the correct image on the timeline?   [thread branched by mod]

Au moment de finir ma vidéo, je vois le curseur qui continue pendant 30 secondes alros qu'il n'y a plus rien sur aucune des pistes vidéo ou audio, même vérifiées au zoom maximum. Comment supprimer ces 30 secondes?

My video is fine but once I add an effect to it even the simplest color. It all starts to lag and playback becomes extremely choppy. This has never happened before. I tried to render it and that only made it worse. Please help.  

Tks for taking my question. I am not allowed to add narration to my current video:"Target track for recoding narration is muted. Unmute to correct this problem." I done 68 videos previously no problem. I have moved up to 4K recording. 

hi i have not had this program for very long i was working on a project and sometimes stopped doing it and then went back to it. when I wanted to open it again, as always, I came in a selection menu of what I wanted to use so I click on prem elements but when I click on it nothing happens at all I see nothing loading plz help me

I'd like to be able to pan and zoom a clip that is already scaled at less than 100%.  But I don't know if this is possible since Zoom utilizes keyframing of Scale and Pan utilizes keyframing of Position.  In other words, I'd like to be able to lock the clip to a size smaller than the screen, let's say 25% as an example, and then pan and zoom WITHIN that smaller clip size. Possible?  If so, how?

Hey all:  I have a feeling the answer is right in front of me, but why when I'm moving clips around or splicing does it also do that to my audio file, even though it's not selected?

Hi  I know how to create Prestets in general but I don't know how to create the one with colour setting such as Saturation, Vibrance etc.  I coudn't find any effect with those setting. They are only avaiable in Adjustement panel ThanksTom

I am receiving the following erreor messages when attempting to drag and drop MOV files to create a video "add media failurea' and "the importer reports a generis error"

HELP!  I've edited a holiday video which is just over 1hr in length and comprises HD camcorder and Go Pro footage.  I've also added some music.  I usually save my movies to a flash drive to watch via a Blu Ray player connected to the TV.  Prior to adding music I saved the movie on the flash drive and the quality was great.  I subsequently made some minor editing adjustments  and added music before saving it to the same flash drive.  This time the quality was poor, definitely not HD.  I am not computer savvy and can not find a way to save the movie retaining the original quality.  The file extension (if that's what it is??) originally is a MPG file.  I didn't knowingly change any settings and have now tried MP4 and WMV etc and they are poor quality.  What am I doing wrong?  Why doesn't the subsequent copy with music save as the same type of file with great quality?  Can anyone offer an easy to follow solution, I've ra

I have the same problem as over 20 other community posts--- I try to burn the project to a DVD choosing disc option, and Premier Elements refuses because "no burners installed."   I am running Windows 10 (64 bit) with Premier Elements 2020 instealled.  I understand there may be a two or three step workaround --- which is to save as an ISO and then use a different program to burn to the DVD. Does this process not significantly sacrifice quality compared to other exports?  Dell has no drivers special drivers for the factory DVD burner in my computer.  I also have a second, newer Plextor DVD burner recently installed.  There are no "drivers" for this optical drive. Premier Elements 2020 says "no burners installed" ALTHOUGH MY COMPUTER detects the DVD drives. Even the "burn to ISO solution"  recommends different software, which then detects and uses the "installed" DVD drives. The "driver" used is the standard Microsoft Windows driver.&nbsp

I'm working with Premiere Elements 2020. My project resolution is 1080.  When I import my 4K video, there's no way to adjust the resolution to match the project. Instead, the resolution changes to the imported video resolution - the exact opposite of what I want. The software doesn't allow me to change the resolution of the video clip or the project. Is it a bug?I want to adjust the resolution because the 4K video causes Prem El to crash, and freeze my system.I've searched everywhere, and can't find the answer.Thank you,C

Was wondering if anyone knows a site to download video clips and effects to use in PRE. Specifically looking for a old film motion clip. Even better if the frames in the clip are transparent.
