Questions

I've put together a group of images and set them to music.In the storyboard (?) there's always a blank one (to drop media into) regardless of how many I have. When I play it back I get a blank screen at the end, which spoils the video. Is there anywya to stop this? I'm very new to all this so please bear with me if it's obvious to you what I'm doing wrong! Thanks in advance

It appears that the minimum amount of time for a transition in Premiere Elements is 1 second.  It would be wonderful if Adobe would make it possible to shorten that transition time.  There are just times when being able to have a 1/2 second or maybe even less would really help make for a better video.  Please Adobe ... Please give us the option to go less than 1 full second on the transitions. 

I created a project in Premiere Elements 2019 using my Macbook Pro 2018. Now I need to open the .prel file in Premiere Pro but premiere pro will not open it. I get a message the files can't be found, although there are all there.

Hi everyone!I'm having issues uploading my video to youtube from Premiere Elements 19. I tried twice, and each time it rendered and uploaded the video, but then turned blank at the end instead of showing the confirmation message. I have a G admin mail account, and I set up the Youtube channel today under the business name. The video doesn't show up in my channel or anywhere else, to my knowledge.Anyone have some help for me with that?

I just purchased and downloaded Premiere Elements 2019, works perfectly for editing, the issue is every time I try to export or share the video it crashes and I get a error that there is no authorization to save to that path. Yet there is no where I can change the path its trying to save to and I thought there should be options on how to share or where to save a video to but there is no options, just a button that says export or share. Here is the error I get on my Imac.Software does me no good if I can't share the videos.Anyone have ideas?

Apparently, dissolves are set at 1 second. I want a faster more subtle transition. Pro is such an easy environment in which to get exactly what I want, like soft landings in motion affects. Can't find a way to achieve that in Elements. Am I missing something, or am I intended to be satisfied with someone else's motion design craft? Recently switched over to Premiere Elements 2019 from another video editing platform. Everything has been going great, but have enountered a minor issue.For some reason (after generating auto play DVDs without issues), it suddenly started prompting to create a disk menu. Since this video is being used for a telecast, we need all menus removed to the disk to auto play. Further, I have been unable to locate the option to show the prompt related to "Misisng Disk Menus" nor any other means Adobe support provides related to that option.This appears to have come up before, but looks like Adobe broke how Google search results link to the help topics.Is there something I am missing to remove the disk menus and disable all prompts to add disk menus? Screen shots for expert mode specific to Premiere Elements 2019 would be appreciated.   [Moved from generic Help forum to Premiere Elements... Mod]

I have a similar issue! I am comparing the test versions of Premiere Elements 19, Wondershare Filmora 9 and CyberLink Power Director 17 on my Windows 10 PC.Premiere Elements is my favorite, but when exporting my test video (30 seconds long) in 4K (MP4), the result is very disappointing! Some sequences are OK, but zoom-ins are stuttering and at a certain point the video freezes with colorful artefacts (like a tv tuner losing the signal). I repeated the export, but result was the same.I would not expect 4K-teething problems in Premiere Elements, but what else can be the reason?

As in the title, the video merge eye dropper simply does not work. This is a critical feature for me to select the key and one of the main reasons I bought the software!Is this a know inssue? Does anyone have a work around? Are Adobe aware of the issue?Any help greatly appreciated.

After weeks of work on video, I'm trying to burn to a DVD and I keep getting "invalid disc name" and it won't burn.  Can someone please help? 

For a couple of months I have been editing a fairly large project in Premier Elements 13.   The project contains AVCHD and MOV files.  The night before last Premier stopped displaying mov files and replaced them with a red multi-language media offline slide.What may have caused this?How can the ability to use the mov files be restored?Thanks for your input.

Hello, I've been using APE 11 since it was released, with no problems. However, within the past week or so the error message attached has been appearing when I try to open the software. It disappears if I click on "OK", but then the software doesn't run correctly, in that the Preview Screen stays white. If I click the play button I can hear audio, but no video appears. (See the other attachment.) I've tried updating the driver, as suggested in the error message, but I seem to have the most recent driver already. All advice welcome, please!

Unter Voreinstellungen habe ich bereits alle Audioquellen/Kanäle gecheckt und durchprobiert. Nichts hilft! Habe schon versucht eine Lösung in anderen Beiträgen zu finden, aber finde keine. Bitte helft mir! Und im besten Fall so, dass ich es auch verstehe - bin kein Computer Crack...

Hi, am using Premiere Elements 2019. Is it possible to change the backround color of a title? I know how to change colour of an object in a title. However the default background color is black and I do not know how to change it to another color. Thanks. Ugo M.

Hello all,I am hopeful someone can help me with this question.I have created a video from still photos with music and titles.It is for my brothers celebration of life ceremony and my plan is to use it instead of hanging photos of my brother.The issue I am having is I need to have the video run on a loop, so that when it ends, it goes back and starts over andover again.  I am using a Windows 10 PC to display the video.I cannot find a way to loop the video.Any ideas, thoughts or experience with this.Thank you.

I have just upgraded from 9 to 15. On 9 to cut a shape after you had put one on the photo  > Select > Inverse and you have your shape and if you layered first you can have a .png. On 15 there is no way you can do this so how do you cut a shape. It will do Select but not Inverse?

A question to the community about shooting in the *wrong* shutter angel.So if I'm shooting on a DSLR with the intention of exporting my videos in 24p, I'm going to either be shooting in:24p with a shutter speed of 1/50thor (with my cameras) 60p with a shutter speed of 1/120 so I can do smooth slow motion in Premiere (done by increasing the length of this clip by 40%).Some questions about this:1) What happens to me video quality if I accidentally shoot at 1080 60p BUT at either 1/50 or 1/60 (instead of 1/120)?. So slower shutter angle? The video still looks ok on playback, it doesn't look to blurry. Am I imagining this or will Premiere Elements will be able to handle the 24p output fine on the video?2) To slow down the 60p footage, I am going to be extending the length of the clip by 40% right? What if I don't extend by 40%, but say, by 20%? Will the slow motion still be smooth and seamless?3) If I am outputing in 24p to get that cinematic look, is it ok my source video is shot in 60p a

So I have been using Premiere Elements 2018 since release and have discovered a recurring problem. All the video editing, etc is fine, but whenever I close the app after I'm done my whole screen goes black for 2 seconds and then reappears as normal. However, I cannot reopen premiere after this occurs without doing a restart because it says something like "kernel not found" and crashes my PC.My computer continues to function after this happens, however on next startup I am greeted with an ALL BLACK screen after the startup logo of my computer. I have then to restart my PC and it boots up as normal, albeit taking way longer.This is a huge annoyance and as I use Premiere a lot gets really tiring. Any ways to fix this?????

So I built a new computer to do some video editing.My specs are:AMD MSI B450 Motherboard16 GB Ram DDR 4, 3000MZGigabyte RX 570 4GBAMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-core 3.4GHZShould be compatible with the program.I downloaded Elements, signed into my account and punched in the serial number I was given.Everything looks good.I take a video we shot in RAW, which is a .MOV file.I am able to load the video into the organizer, and I'm able to load the video into the timeline to edit the film.But when I click play (or the space bar) nothing happens. The video does not play back.I can physically use my mouse to drag the timeline cursor over the video and it shows the video frame-per-frame so it's clearly able to recognize the video but when I go to hit play to let the timeline actually run it's course the cursor wont budge. I click play on the player right below the preview video. I've tried hitting the space bar.I went back and updated my drivers, and I uninstalled and redownloaded Elements directly from t

I am unable to update my Premiere Elements from 14 to 14.1 using the built in updater. It gets to 13% and then says Premiere Elements is running, to close it, but it IS NOT RUNNING!  Yes, I have checked in task manager. I am sure it is not running. I have rebooted and everything, it always thinks it is running and will not continue the install. I am using Windows 10. Where can I just download the update itself myself and install it without the adobe updater?

I am working on a project including MTS files of 4 different cameras recording the same event from different angles. With only one file I have problems:- final approx 12 secs of 10min 39 sec clip remains empty- total duration of clip stays roughly as original- timeline is distorted. It speeds up at various locations (I assume it makes the actual video/audio content approx 12 sec shorter)The source clip is okay. When I play it in Windows Media player there is no problem (no speeding up, video/audio until end).Other MTS files of same camera are also okay.Camera used is a Sony rx-10 iii. Files where automatically truncated during recording due to max file size (as with most other files in this project).I tried to restart computer, restart Premiere, delete file as projectelement and add again. Moved succeeding all clips for more than 10 mins later in timeline so that there is certainly enough space and then add clip again. But no success.Enyone who can help?Regards,Marcel
