Something happened to my "preferred settings"?Every time I stop or play or add a file, music or video, a box pops up and says it is rendering required files (it did not use to do this until lately).Even if I render the project, save and shut down. When I bring it back up it renders again.I am working on a 30 minute video, so each time it does this it takes a period of time.How do I shut this back off so that it only render when I ask it to?Thanks

Again, this is what i have Experienced with Prem 15. I add media and select webcam. The camera I use comes up fine on the screen, working very well as far as movement and all. then when I click the capture/ record button,  the screen goes black and a window pops up saying, " Recorder error , driver error"

I plugged in the webcam and it comes on fine, but when I click the capture button screen goes black and says driver error. I also selected the folder path for video. Thank you. Premier 15

Also says  "no device control" even though it recognizes web cam and cam actully comes on the screen

Can  anyone explain if I can play an MP4 video on Prem15 and Pause it at certain Places, Then Record live video to insert at that point, and do this throughout the Playing video? can this be accomplished with this program, Thank you, Stan in Ct.

So basically i am rendering a 4K video, Premiere tells me that the rendered file size will be about 1.6G but when I look at the file its just 38Megs and the quality is quite poor obviously.

How do you add transitions to the "frequently used" category?

Whenever I use Auto Tone, whether I customize it or not, my Mac hangs and I have to force it to quit.  Short clips, long clips, doesn't matter.  I have no idea why.  Any thoughts?

Premiere Elements 17 (2019), Windows 10 (up-to-date), 16Gb RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3600Mhz/4 coreI understand how to adjust the volume of a track for final project rendering/playback. That is not what I seek.What I need: Working in the Elements interface, the default play-back volume of an audio track approaches ear-splitting levels and it appears Elements bypasses Windows 10, instead using direct hardware access. (I can "mute" sound in Windows and Premiere blares on). I can use the Audio Mixer to affect levels but then it adjusts the track so what when compiled, the resultant file has volume reduced by -21dB/is nearly inaudible.SO what I'm after is how to adjust the playback volume while working on the project without affecting the track or the resultant output. (No, I don't have a physical volume control on my speaker; it relies on Windows/system to control volume.)TIAJohn

i'm backing up my catalog to external hard drivenext i'm removing the external hard drivenext time i will open the same catalog- it will be empty and i will have to restore itnote that the source files are all in the PC itself and the restore process is to the external drivewhat i'm doing wrong? i don't want the hard disk to always be connected to the PC!

Hi, I'm new to this software. Recently just got back from a skiing holiday and I want to be able to really slow my footage down, so whilst i was out there i recorded some shots in 1080p at 240 fps. I have converted the video from H.265, and it converted to 240 fps, which is what I wanted. But then when i add it to my project on Premiere Elements 19, it wont let me export my video in any higher than 60 fps. Is there a way around this or am I stuck with only using 60 fps?

HI all,I recently installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 & Premiere Elements 2019 on my iMac which is running latest 10.14.3 (Mojave) os.  When I launch Premiere Elements 2019, a Home screen appears which contains large graphic buttons/links for: Organizer, Photo Editor and Video Editor.  If I click on Organizer, a spinning progress thingy displays for about 30 secs, then disappears, but Organizer does not open.  If I click on the shortcut for Organizer in the dock, Organizer loads fine.  The other 2 links/buttons work (once I entered my license codes).I think it has something to do with the fact that when I copied/dragged the initial set of Adobe icons down to the dock, maybe I moved it (from Applications folder) instead of copying it?  In Finder, if I look at  Applications\Adobe Premiere Elements 2019,  all I see is:Support Files (folder)Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 (app)Thinking that maybe I accidentally MOVED Organizer app to the dock (instea

Hi,how can I set the frame size of my project to a custom value like 100x200 or 1234x3456?It is said, that I have to set the project settings at the beginning and it cannot be changed later - ok. But at the beginning, I can only choose from a fixed set of presets for videos and can not change the frame size to an individual one.ThanksKonrad

I just purchased several months ago, Photoshop Elements 2018 & Premiere Elements 2018.  I'm getting messages saying ERROR DW071 & DW003 on both.  Also when I try to open PREMIERE ELEMENTS, I'm getting the message:  Could not complete your request because it is NOT the right kind of document.  Very frustrating when you've paid for this purchase.  Photoshop Elements asked for my  Serial Number, but Premiere Elements did not.  I have both serial numbers handy.  Can someone please help with these issues.

I have a spinning wheel so often as to render Premier Elements 19 almost useless. Having that problem with PE 18 on a MacBook led me to upgrade to a Macbook Pro and to Premier Elements 19.. .  .If I am persistent I can get video editing done, but I have to do a force quit of Organizer, then start over, working until i am again thwarted by the spinning wheel. . . .I've accumulated quite a bit of time with Adobe and Apple, not to mention spending $2000 for the MacBook Pro to replace the two year old MacBook.. . .This happens as I add video content that I have selected in Photoshop Elements Organizer 20`19 to Premier Elements 2019.

Just upgraded to the excellent new MAcbook Pro....and Premiere crashes constantly. It was working on my 10 year old Mac. What is going on Premiere?

I'm in the trial period for Adobe Premiere Elements 2019. I imported my videos into Elements Organizer version 17.0. I have a lot of trail camera videos and they all appear as grey thumbnails. When open I get the error message that there is a missing codec. The codec info from the clip is: Motion JPEG OpenDML, 1280 x 720 Linear PCM, 16-bit little-endian signed integer, 1 channels, 8000 Hz.The computer is a MacBook Pro run MacOS 10.14.3.While I realize I can convert these to a supported format with VLC, I have 93 files and I'm still using the trail cameras that took them.I'm green on how to update a CODEC, so any detailed assistance would be very valuable to me.Thanks!Dan

hello guys! aim texting regarding a problem that i have with my premiere. i download a package of new tittle everytime iam trying to add it to my videos it shut down the logiciel

So i have a problem that i cant work out. I have a clip which i am trying to speed up by 800% however when i then render the clip it cuts it short, any ideas? Tried speeding it up by different amounts and still does it, tried linking and unlinking the speed and percentage.Thanks Tom

I just updated to 2019 and found that imported AVCHD video loses its audio component.  Some digging on the forums showed that Premiere now relies on OS codecs for Dolby, which works on Windows 8+, but I use Windows 7.  Does Adobe have plans to fix this?  Alternately, are there any workarounds that do not rely on doing file conversions before importing?Adobe's official answer in the threads I saw was to upgrade my OS.  I happen to really dislike Windows 8 and 10, so that's not going to happen.  I'll find another video editor first.  I'm pretty angry that I bought a product purportedly compatible with my OS, only to find that critical functionality is missing.

I am setting up Organizer for Premier and Photoshop with a lot of photos and videos. Does this eat up additional memory or are these just thumbnails to the files on hard drive.
