Dear all, I have downloaded trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and when I import AVCHD .MTS files it does not show audio track, it shows video track only. These AVCHD files are from SONY camera HDR-CX450. I have Windows 7 HP, 64-bit, RAM 8 GB.When I import mp4 files from my mobile or XAVC mp4 files from the same SONY camera, audio tracks are visible in Adobe Premiere 2018. Audio is also visible in my previous version - Adobe Premiere Elements 11. Interesting is that I think it worked fine the first day but on the second day when I wanted to spend more time with it, there was one popup to install some update for Adobe Premiere 2018 and since I installed it I could not see that audio... I have absolutely no idea where the problem is. Thank you for help
So I just bought Premiere Elements 2018 as I was looking for something easy to help a young person with a video project. How do I use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the timeline? This feature was definitely in Premiere Elements years ago, and it has always been a staple in Premiere Pro and practically every other NLE (except FCP lol). The timeline zoom is normally done with ALT+MouseWheel. So am I missing something, or is it really gone?[text edited by mod]
I recently got a GoPro 6 and recorded lots of new video to edit in my P.E. 2018 but much if not all video put on the timeline plays poorly and choppy. Some video files render and some do not, don't know why that is since everything I ever put in the timeline before always rendered. I have a HP Pavilion with 8 GB and 4 amd processors. The CPU uses up to 99% when a video is running in Adobe and 60% to 85% of the memory. Could it be I need a better video card?
I use the Adobe Premiere Elements 12 and I cannot figure out how to save my video projects as MP3's, MPEG4, MP4, AVI, etc. Every time I save a project it saves as a ".prel" and I cannot upload that format to YouTube, which is what I want. I know you can directly upload to YouTube from Adobe, but my projects often exceed the time allotted. Can anyone tell me how to save my projects as one of the formats that YouTube allows? Thank you!
I just purchased Premiere Elements 2018. I have about 50 short clips from my GoPro loaded into the work area. All have the same capture properties. Only about 4 of the clips have the orange bar above them which rendered when i select Render Work Area. The problem I'm having is that the rest of the videos are choppy on playback and they appear to need rendering. I cannot view them properly to edit them. Is there any way to force the program to render them?
Does anybody know how to view audio waveforms in the preview monitor in Premiere Elements 2018? I'm running Windows 7 on a 64-bit laptop PC. I accidentally saw a waveform in the monitor, but I've been unable to replicate it. Thanks!
In Quick view the T symbol has a diagonal line through it and any text entered does not show when I run through the video. How do I switch it on again please? Thanks
My video is great on my galaxy, but once uploaded to Premier Elements it is SOOOO glitchy and is freezing upon playback, not smooth at all. This is a new problem, been making videos with PE for 6 months and no problem until now. I have rendered it many times, but still not smooth at all.Any suggestions?
I'm editing a critical project, and suddenly and for no apparent reason, I lose audio. I can see the meters moving, but no sound. This has been an intermittent problem that seems to have become permanent. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on a 64-bit HP PC. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2018. HOW DO I GET AUDIO BACK? If I don't get an answer soon, I must revert to Corel Video Studio Pro just so I can get a presentation for my board of directors by their Aug 25 meeting.Solo is not any help. Thanks,Tom

Is it no longer possible to burn a bluray ISO image in PE 2018? I know you can save an MP4 file, but what about the disc menus? How do you get those on your disc if you can no longer burn a bluray ISO image? Thanks.
I used the following tabs to create a series of M4V files. On the Export & Share selection I went to devices then to custom and created a 1980 1060 resolution custom bluray disc option. This is what was created:How do you burn these to a disc? I can convert the M4V to MP4, but what about the other files? Are they menu files?(the WAV is a music file.) If so, how do I merge them all together? Thanks.
I'm getting the following errors from my project. I'd rather not have to disable all my shake reduction clips. I was hoping someone might have some suggestions on how to fix this other than disabling all the shake reductions.I'm also getting this which prevents me from creating a ISO image or MP4 file.Any help would be appreciated. Don't know what files this is referring to.
PE 18 has a much lessor selection of movie menus. Why? Is there a way to download more or are we stuck with the few that are within the program?
I use OBS Studio to record multiple audio tracks at once with a video, however when I import the file to Premiere Elements 18, only audio track 1 is included. Am I missing a setting in Premiere to enable this or something? Any help is much appreciated.
I imported and successfully used dozens of .avi files several years ago using PE-13, it worked fine. Then recently I opened that project and got a message that "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed." Same for PE-12, PE13, and PE-2018.It's important to know that I can open and play all of the .avi files in question using MS Media Player, and "Movies and TV," but not with Quick Time Player.I used GSpot to find out that the .avi file uses MPEG2 codec. To repeat, these .avi files worked fine a couple of years ago, but not now, and I can play these files with two other applications. I've researched this in a lot of places and there are a lot of non-answers, and everyone who addresses this question simply asks 20 questions instead of what should be a simple answer: How do I add the required codec and where is it added to? I've tried but all of the download apps seem to do everything except add codecs.
We’ve transfered Adobe Premiere Elements to another computer. Now we have to relink all project Elements individually. Is there a way to do it as a bulk?
I downloaded PE-2018 trial version. The motion tracking does not work at all. Is this an intentional limitation of the trial version? The other features seem to work fine.My motion tracking on PE-13 works, but not to well, I think this was a problem with the software. My PE-12 motion tracking works perfectly, so please don't ask the questions like what operating system, what speed, my favorite color, etc. It's a simple question: Is the Motion Tracking in PE-2018 (the paid version) healthy, and does the trial version intentionally not support it?
Can anyone advise me on this.I find it hard to believe that I can't buy a multi user license for this product as an educational facility.I've been informed that I can only buy a single user software option (potentially 2 users) for £86.56 and for a class of 20 I would need to buy 10 to 20 copies. Its not available on my Creative Cloud either, which I find frustrating.I teach at a media 6th form college and it would be useful to start the level 1 students off on elements and progress to Pro.Any thoughts or suggestions welcomed.
Hello, recently I had purchased Photoshop and premiere elements 2018. And today I was going to work on a project and I had noticed that the files I had imported were coming out as a solid green box.The first couple of files were .mov files and they worked perfectly fine. But as soon as I went into my other .MOV files. It would be a solid green but would display the time but as soon as drag it into the time line it would blank with no video or audio.I thought my video was corrupted but I played the video file on QuickTime and VLC player just to double check and they worked perfectly fine.Just when I go to import the video into the project it just show them as a solid green box.So I don't want the problem could be.I recorded from a Atomos Ninja Blade and a Canon Mark III which the files from the Ninja Blade show up in green but not the files from the Canon camera. He a picture of what the desktop looks like when I import it.https://s22.postimg.cc/cdig64wnl/IMG_20180814_181135_520.jpg
Level: Advanced QueryChoosing "the right" camera video setting has a vital impact on image quality and editing/post-production, both today and in the future, as many of us know. - The thread is about this.* * *Hello Everyone, Background: I’m a veteran photographer and retoucher since more than two decades ago. I have currently for a couple years put effort in enhancing my skill set in: Creating video with the camera and Premiere Elements. Now I need some advanced advice, please. With Mediainfo, I have on a deeper level investigated the characteristics and capabilities of the options my Sony camera offers. Hence I would be fond of some experienced answers on the following questions. Thank you for your cooperation!* * *QUESTIONSThe Sony camera is offering two digital container file types. .MTS (AVCHD) and .MP4. Both .MTS and .MP4 contains AVC video (AVC (High(a)L4.2 or L4) (CABAC / 2 Ref Frames). The video result will most often be played on a 40 inches HD-TV (PAL).i) Everything else bein
When trying to add a motion text overlay, PE freezes up, at some point during the process. Every. Single. Time. I'm saving my file continually, and it's taking forever just to add motion text overlays to a 2 min. church announcement video. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I tried chatting with Adobe support, but after being left hanging for 20 min with no interaction from the support desk, I gave up! I'm running PE 2018 Version 16 on a Mac with High Sierra. Any help is appreciated!
I am finished making my video that is about 2 hours and 26 minutes, and when I try to share it into the YouTube option, it says that an error occurred and that I would need to "reduce the duration of my video". I am also choosing the "High Definition Video For Youtube 1920 X 1080" mode. Please help me find a way to save this. If i tried ti save it on the computer, I don't know which one to use, MPEG or PAL. So please help!!!
I want to start a Youtube channel and I need a good editing software. I've read a lot of good things about Adobe Premiere but there is no WAY I'm about to pay for that subscription service. I'm only a beginner so I probably wouldn't know how to use most of those tools anyway. I was reading something about someone not being able to add music to an earlier version of Premiere.I want to know if it is possible to add your own music, be it from SoundCloud, Amazon Music, or even iTunes, to videos before I consider buying it. Any help would be helpful thanks![Moved... FAQ is not a place to ask questions]Premiere Elements Forum http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements
HI folks. Complete newb to Premiere Elements and most Adobe editing products. I'm trying to learn a bit more when it comes to video editing so I was playing around a bit today. One thing I absolutely do not want is compression of either video or audio. I just have a couple large MP4 files that I want to chop up into smaller, separate MP4 files. I'm fine splitting and cutting and everything but when I go to export there is a slider and even the "high" setting is compressing my audio. How do I get Elements to just cut the file where I want and export without any quality loss? Thank you.
