A Low Level Exception Occurred In Adobe Player: 60

Hello,

We are unable to playback any media.  We are receiving the following error message in a red window in the timeline.

"A Low Level Exception Occurred In Adobe Player: 60"

The solution posted in a previous thread does not work - changing render and playback settings to 'Mercury Playback Engine Software Only'

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Welp, I figured out what's causing mine. When I ramp a clip from any value grater than 100% I get "A low-level exception occurred in Adobe Player (Player:60)" when I hit spacebar/play

    @kulpreet

Got the same error, Low level 60 or 11, latest Premiere Pro version

    CPU is Ryzen 7 3700X

    GPU is 1080TI FE

32 gigs of RAM and all files are on a local NVME SSD

Whenever I ramp up time higher than +100% it happens

I had the exact same problem using CC2018 on High Sierra on a MacPro running an ATI 1GB 5770 card and a Blackmagic 3D Decklink card attached.

I solved the problem by opening a Program Monitor window. Previously there was no Progam monitor open and I think the Blackmagic card might have been looking for a Program Monitor window to get its information from and it was not there. My two bits.

Best of Luck to all. Vidur

    Hi Betreten_das_Kaleidoskop,

Sorry for the trouble. Please share more details and we will try to help.

    • Your system specifications & GPU details?
    • Is this issue specific to a clip and where exactly are your media files located?
    • Which version of Premiere Pro & which OS are you on?

    Thanks,

    Kulpreet Singh
