How to Change Audio Source for Text Based Transcript

Trying to use the new text based transcribe tool and delete my pauses but it's only selecting one of my audio tracks and not the other. How do I change audio tracks for it? Before you ask no, I'm not using static transcripts, so selecting my desired track in the static then switching over still generates the wrong track.

Hey @Jesse21973670c8pxm,

Thanks for the note. Try this. Sequence > Match Frame. Once the clip is loaded into the Source Monitor, can you transcribe it then? Let me know. I hope we can help.

Thanks,

Kevin

I can transcribe it but how do I change what audio track it's transcribing? Right now it's set on track 1 where as I need it on track 2 for the text based editing transcript to work out the silences.

Got it. I believe what you are looking for is available in the Beta. See this discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/audio-track-selection-for-source-media-transcription/idc-p/14113645#M11053

I hope the info helps, @Jesse21973670c8px. Looks like a popular feature!

Thanks,

Kevin
