When removing pauses using Text based Editing, it still leaves a lot of room even though minimum pause length is set to 0.01 seconds  Version 26.2I tried to test with multiple files, all the same, tried with a new project, same behavior. 26.2 leaves way more room before cutI see that this got marked as a question, this is a bug

Zooming the timeline (in or out) with the scroll wheel (by holding the option key) jumps to a maximum zoom. If I scroll VERY slowly, I can increment out in an expected way. Premiere 2025, but have had this problem on previous versions. No such issue in any other applications (e.g., After Effects). Mac 14.6. Mouse is a Logitech MX Master 3S. Any ideas behind this? I want to reiterate that no other product of mine (including Adobe products) has this same issue. The attached video shows the bug in action.

When I hit import preset, the file doesn’t even show up in finder. When i drag it into premeire pro it says the file is not supported but its the exact file type that they need. Im on 2026, latest version. can someone help?

I'm learning the keyboard shortcuts in Premiere Pro and After Effects at the same time, and it boggles my mind that Adobe would make nearly everything incompatible between these two programs. I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about. One of them is the shortcut to zoom to view the entire timeline. There are many other inconsistencies like that.I'm considering making a changes to the shortcuts in these programs to bring them more into alignment with each other, and I'm wondering if anyone else has done this and if there's an commonly used standard in the industry to compensate for this workflow killer.Or do you all just learn both systems, or just not use the shortcuts?

Hello. Any assistance appreciated, thank you.When creating a mask using the Pen Masking tool I have the following issues:>It takes a few attempts of drawing the mask for the Program Monitor to show the mask which has been created.>When the mask does appear on the screen, I copy the mask from Unassigned Masks to the Effect I want to apply (for instance - Lumetri Color) and then adjust the settings in that Effect. So far so good (if slow compared to creating Masks in previous versions)..>But...If it’s a moving shot I need to manually track the Effect and its Mask. However with this new masking tool I can’t seem to apply Keyframes so that the Mask can track with the shot. The auto tracking tool (the Mask Forward play-shaped button) just does its own thing and isn’t useful.Therefore I can’t track an effect, which is increasingly rendering masks very restrictive. Having a few issues with the new Video+Waveform view in the Source Monitor.1/ The button doesn’t seem to work for Multicam Clips. It’s greyed out (see image). Only selecting split view in the wrench menu works.2/ Cycling through clips in the Source Monitor behaves erratically. Hi everyone,I’m facing a major issue with rendering performance that started about 1–2 months ago. I’ve been working for the same company for several years with a consistent workflow and project complexity, but lately, rendering has become a nightmare.Projects that used to take under 10 minutes to export now take 40+ minutes. The performance seems inconsistent and unpredictable, even though the source files and effects remain the same as before. One of my clients has a feature film in which the sound needs some postproduction TLC. The spoken dialogue in several scenes needs a bit more clarity, mainly because there’s some competing ambient noise. The dialogue also needs to generally be better distinguished from the ambient sounds and music that are in the background. (All the dialogue was recorded on a camera-mounted microphone. No booms or lavaliers.) The main issue is that, apparently, the only recording the client still possesses includes all elements of the soundscape (dialogue, sound effects and music) on only one track. So, mixing this audio is harder than it would be if each element had its own distinct track. So, what are the best ways to enhance and clarify the dialogue especially so it sounds more distinct than the background sounds? The client is unable to rerecord the dialogue, perform ADR or do anything that would cost extra money. I know that using postproduction tools too much to clean or tweak the sound can make

I have attached the issue in the video below, whenever I try to drag the text layer or any layer to increase its duration, it lags very much, but when I try to increast it duration from the back side of the layer it works smooth. What could be the issue and how can I resolve this? Premier is latest version 

I’m using Premiere 26.2. I created captions on a project. I only wanted them in a sidecar file, not burned in. I exported the project to MP4. I tried everything to prevent the captions from being burned in:With the captions Export Options set to “Create Sidecar File” With the captions slider turned completely off After turning off the view (eye) icon on the captions track After COMPLETELY DELETING the captions trackIn every single case, the file was created with the captions burned in. The only thing that actually worked was to do ALL of the above, plus right-clicking every audio track and choosing “Ignore Transcript.” Is this a known bug?

I have audio files from a shoot, I confirmed in the reports that they were captured at 23.976 frame rate, which matches my sequence. In the Sound Report and in the Project panel, it says the start timecode is one thing (i.e. 16:42:21:19), but then when I bring it into the sequence, which is a 23.976 sequence, and turn on the overlays, and put the playhead at the first frame, it says the start time is 16:43:06:04. This is the case for all of my clips, all of which are captured at 23.976. I exported an EDL of my audio clips and in the EDL the source timecodes match the reports and project panel info, so I’m just not sure why there is a discrepancy between the source file and what it reads as in the sequence when the frame rates match. I have tried things such as modifying the timecode/re-interpreting footage but that seems to only make it worse. I sometimes need to use the overlays to sync the camera and sound so this makes that very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this, and is the

Does anyone else have this issue:Adobe recently added new effects to Premiere Pro, including the “Wiggle” effect which is pretty handy when trying to make anything look like it’s floating.The big issue is that as soon as you have more than 10 instances of the Wiggle effect in your sessionit slows down the session timeline manipulation becomes laggy and almost impossible to work with unless you turn down the Playback Resolution to ¼ or more MOST OF ALL: Renders explode, taking up to 3hrs instead of a couple minutes !!   The attached screen shot is from a session where I have a total of 40 instances of the effect.The example image has 4 instances, and there are multiple of those shots in the session. I’m not a developper but I’m wondering how a “simple” transformation effect can have such a huge impact on processing and render time.Maybe I should just do this kind of work in AE entirely?

Hello, I have a question regarding Adobe Premiere 2026. Is it still possible to use the 'old' masking method?I am very comfortable using the technique of setting a keyframe on the first frame and another on the last frame, allowing the mask to interpolate (move) automatically between them without using the 'Track Mask' feature. On my system, the automated tracking process is very slow, so I rely heavily on this manual first-and-last frame method.However, in the new Premiere Pro 2026, I am finding it very difficult to do this. I’ve even encountered a bug: when I use the Path tool to manually create a mask on the first frame and then move to the last frame to adjust it, the mask doesn't respond correctly. I cannot move the mask points directly in the Program Monitor; instead, I am forced to manually adjust the numerical values in the Effect Controls panel to get any movement. I’ve already tried anything solutions in this website, google, and AI, but none can’t fixed this.Please look into

My production panel completely removes all my projects from view. Bins seem intact, but there are duplicates of several bins. If I open the production on another computer it is fine. I have restarted and cleared the cache, but the issue persists.The only thing I can think of to do is to re-install Premiere. I'm trying to import a sequence from Premiere Pro into DaVinci Resolve as an XML file. The audio is synchronized in Premiere but unsynchronized in Resolve. Is there a way that I can *resolve* (Ha!) this?

Does Premeire Pro 26.0.2 (Build 2) support UXP Tool? The UXP tool connects t o Photoshop on the same system. But Premiere Pro v 26.0.1 (Build 2)  does not. How to fix this issue?

Beginner here… I have four clips imported into my project and they show on the timeline in sequence. How do I ‘crop’ or edit the portion of each that I want to be in the video? All were shot at 120fps and I want part of one of the clips to ‘slow down’ to show in slow motion and need help in how to do that also. My day would be so much better if I could learn how to do these two things. TIA, Ken  

I'm putting together a video for a band consisting of 5 cameras and one recorded, mixed track. I tried to make a multicam sequence the auto sync way, but it failed miserably at matching via the audio. Unfortunately, we didn't run timecode. So, I matched 5x cameras to the audio by hand and now only have the mix in for audio.  I've tried going to right click the sequence, open in source monitor, enable multi cam, then toggle multi cam view, but am trying to find a way to make edits to the sequence from multi-cam. What do I need to do to be able to toggle between cameras to edit in the multicam way that all the tutorial show? Or, is there a way I can at least be playing at the same tiem in the program monitor and source monitor, then make the cuts I want by hand? It feels like some step is missing still. Editing in Premiere Pro 2025 on a Mac.
