Yesterday I was working on a project that I use to edit monthly videos for a Doctor. I did yesterday’s video and close de project as usual. Today I tried to open the same project and I’m facing this following error “an unknown error occurred while opening the project premiere pro”I tried creating a new project and importing the old one but it didn’t work, this time i recieved this messege. Can anyone help me? Inside this project I have several assets that i can’t lose.

I am trying to get characters such as ә and ā into a title on premiere pro. I have the unicode codes but it does not render it correctly. I just get a square. I have tried multiple fonts and nothing works. Any help is much appreiciated!

 Hello how are you I have a problem with exporting videos in adobe premier it takes a very long time for a 5 min video with basic effects of premier color grandin etc my specs are rtx 3070ti i5 14400 32 gb ram ddr5 with old pc I had xenon e5 2667 v3 and rtx there the export finishes much faster how can I solve this problem thanks 

I’m editing an interview shot on two cameras plus a separate audio recorder in Premiere Pro. I synced everything with Merge Clips and made a multicam sequence, but after switching angles a few times, the audio sometimes drifts slightly out of sync with the video, especially in longer clips.I’ve checked that all clips use the same frame rate, and I synced by audio waveform. Should I sync by timecode or by an in point marker instead? Is there a setting I’m missing that fixes drift in longer multicam sequences?Any tips or a recommended workflow would help. Thanks!

Bonjour à tous, je rencontre un petit problème avec l'exportation de mes vidéos depuis PP. Lorsque j'importe ma vidéo (MOV) sur PP, la colorimétrie devient fade sur le montage. Ensuite, lorsque j'exporte ma vidéo sur mon ordinateur, la vidéo est totalement en sur exposition et on ne voit presque plus mon visage. Elle passe de fade sur lécran de montage à sur exposé lors de l'exportation et je ne touche à aucuns réglages entre ces deux opérations.Est-ce que quelqu'un a déjà rencontré ce problème ?

When I open PPro I get this message followed by the note:"Grant access to this application in security & privacy preferences, located in system Preferences".The problem is when I go to privacy settings I don't even see PPro, I only see Media Encoder. So I cannot allow access. I am working on MacOS Sonoma 14.0Premiere Pro V25.0 I did see another post with the same question, but no valid answer.I have already tried to uninstall PPro, and restart computer, with no luck. Thanks

How do I disable GPU acceleration here? Premiere won't let me switch to "software only".

We frequently run into issues where the GPU struggles with certain codecs or formats, and artifacting issues can arise during rendering or exporting to H.264. I.e. glitches and artefacts, which don't appear in the source footage, are present on the footage when exported through Premiere or Media Encoder.This has been an ongoing issue for many years. Transcending operating systems, GPU Drivers and Premiere Pro versions.We've always been able to get around these problems, when encountering them, by switching to 'Software Rendering Only' during export. For some reason, this option has been hidden in recent updates. Meaning that in order to access it, I have to shut down Premiere, and hold the Shift key while re-opening it, just to be able to use the option once. Why? Hi all - I have a subtitles track on my timeline and want to move it in sync with the audio track. Is this possible? I can move the audio track but not the subtitles track. Thank you in advance. Paul

Premiere pro Beta Version Can't Open Startup Crash 

I want to raise a complaint about a forced/continued subscription charge, but this "great" company gives no real way to reach anyone, just article after article after article.Even the "Contact Us" section is broken: there's a "Support" option with a "Start Now" button, but clicking it just takes you back to the same help-articles homepage, in a loop. My recent Premiere project files have disappeared after the 26.0 update. Nothing in the auto save folders, nothing anywhere. It says the last time I opened that file was May of 2026, because I opened it a couple of weeks ago and used it.Plus all of my presets for editing workspaces were gone as well. Sometimes Premiere completely misses a line of dialogue, and I can’t figure out how to add it at the correct time. For example, someone says “That actually worked!” with several seconds of silence before and after it. Premiere recognizes the surrounding dialogue but skips that line entirely. There isn’t even a […] placeholder where it belongs—it’s just missing.I can hear the words and mark exactly where they start and end with In/Out points. Is there a way to tell Premiere, “These words were spoken in this range,” and add them to the source transcript in the text-based editing tool?Adding the words to a neighboring transcript segment doesn’t work properly because the nearest recognized dialogue is several seconds away. I want the missing line to be searchable and usable for text-based editing, with the correct timing.Am I missing an option, or does this currently require exporting, editing, and reimporting the transcript? If there isn’t a direct way to do it, could Adobe add one?

I started yesterday to work on Premiere Pro 2026 and have been experiencing the following issue: when editing with headphones, the audio track on channels 1 and 2 come out only from my left headphone, and channels 3 and forward are muted even if the “M” button is obviously off. Without headphones the problem doesn’t exist. I have already checked the settings on “Audio Channels”  and it is set to Stereo L+R, so the issue really doesn’t make sense.I am not experiencing this issue on the 2025 version or on the Beta version, while using the same settings.Applying audio effects such as Fill also doesn’t work - and even if it did it would be highly impractical to apply an effect to each audio track for this purpose. I have also checked with colleagues and compared settings - mine seems to be an isolated case. Is there anyone who could help me fixing this? It is really a drag. Thank you!

Yesterday i could work on my project and put a FX video GRID on my video . Today the option GRID is gone off the Video FX list to chose from . Where is it gone and how can i get it back ?

The render preset stopped working, and I can't save new presets. Stop messing with the program! 

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue in Adobe Premiere Pro where keyboard shortcuts and basic timeline controls like cut, trim, ripple delete, and play or pause sometimes stop working. Mouse actions still work, but certain keys do nothing.I’ve already checked the keyboard shortcut settings, confirmed I’m using the correct keyboard layout in Windows, reset Premiere Pro preferences, and made sure the correct panel is active.Is there a reliable way in Premiere Pro to determine whether this is a software or shortcut configuration problem versus a keyboard input issue? I have an interview with multiple cameras, and to organize it I have subclipped and labeled each question individually. Is there a way to “copy” these subclips to the other camera angles so I don’t have to do them all over again for each camera? (The cameras are timecode synced) Thanks!

I haven't found a solution to this yet - seems to be a bug. Any help would be appreciated! Premiere Pro v15 2021AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.80 GHz64.0 GB DDR4 RAMNVIDIA GeForce GTX970 GPUWindows 10 pro 64bit Every time I select a clip and adjust an effect (even motion / capacity), the effects panel disappears and "no clip selected" comes up, even though I definitely do have a clip selected. I then have to click on and off the clip several times to make the effects panel show again (and not show "no clip selected") I've noticed from forums that this is a very old and as yet unresolved bug. Ironically I didn't have this problem on 2020 and earlier versions. The only fix I've found is that if you do a quick save ctrl+s it refreshes which brings back the effects panel. Obviously I don't want to do this every time! 

I've been experiencing this bug for a long time now (at least 2 years).When I add volume level keyframes to an audio clip, they're usually linear by default, so I'll right click on them and choose a different interpolation if needed.In the example below, I changed the third keyframe to Ease Out - all the others are linear.As expected, the volume fades according to the keyframes and will continue to do so for as long as Premiere open. But, when I export the sequence, the audio in the export is completely different (volume increases and decreases unexpectedly), and there is no evidence in Premiere that anything has changed - the volume levels look and sound normal.It's only when I quit Premiere and relaunch it that I can see and hear what's happening. The picture below is the same audio clip after relaunching Premiere.So, despite the clip looking and sounding normal in the original session (first picture), it actually exports according to the changes that have occurred in the second pict
