Preview Problem in Premiere Pro!

Hello, our valued members and administrators. For the last 2 weeks, my Premiere Pro app has been experiencing lag in preview, making the editing experience unpleasant. When I press the space bar to watch a video, the stuttering starts and then stabilizes. I am using the latest version and even tried older versions but the problem persists. Two weeks ago there was no problem. From what I've seen on the forum, this is a problem that other people have experienced. I'm waiting for your suggestions. I hope dear Adobe administrators to resolve this issue immediately!

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

Thank you for your return.

Nvidia Studio Driver is up to date. I clear Media Cash files regularly. I will try the other methods you mentioned now.

Computer: Hp Victus 15-fa0008nt 12th Generation Core i5 12450H-RTX3050 4Gb-16Gb-512Gb-15.6inc-W11.

M2 SSD 300/350 GB free space available. I work from there.

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/8236158?page=1

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Hey msalihaksu,

I'm sorry for the poor experience. By the latest version, do you mean Premiere Pro 24.1? You can check your version by going to Help > About Premiere Pro. Please also let us know what type of source files (frame size, frame rate, codec, format) and effects you're working with. If you have any captions or transcripts, please temporarily disable them to check if that makes a difference. I'm moving this thread to the Discussions section to collect more information.

Thanks,

Ishan

Thank you for your return, sir. 24.1 - I use the latest version, follow the updates. Even when playing the video on the source monitor without any effects or anything, it plays with a slight stutter. My computer's specifications are fine. My drivers are up to date. This problem did not exist before. I also installed the old versions and tried the BETA version. Unfortunately it continues. There is a different problem. I'm waiting for your help. This problem greatly reduces my enjoyment of video editing. If it doesn't fix it, I will switch to a different software.

Attachment: Video Example of the Problem

(As you can see in the video, I paused and played it twice. It accelerates a little and starts like that. Then it flows normally. When I stop it, it gets stuck again and continues.)

Thanks for sharing the screen recording. It seems setting the input device to "None" worked for you. Could you let us know which input device you have previously selected? That could help us determine what's causing the issue.
