Every time I hit play on my timeline the video and audio glitch, jumping around and eventually level out. At times I'm not even able to hit play. Nothing happens and playback simply doesnt work. I am able to click around in the program but playback does not work at all. Projects window: highlight in list view could use a few tints brighter. Why not make it the same color as in the Text panel used for Graphics?

Being able to import MKV and VP9 videos into Premiere would save me more than an hour per day that I have to spend converting the videos first.  It owuld also save me space to not have 2 versions of a video on my hard drives.  Today I am spending at least 3 hours converting videos, and perhaps that is all I will actually get done today, as it may end up taking the whole day trying to get ahead so i dont have to wait tomorrow and the coming days.   Thank you for considering this. J-TIZZO

Hi!All of a sudden, when I go to transcribe my sequence, the only option is to transcribe the entire source clip. I'm just taking snippets of interviews and adding captions for social media. These can be hour long interviews, and I'm just trying to get the 1-2 minutes I've outlined in my sequence. Anyone have any ideas here? 

Okay, I used Premiere Pro many years ago when my husband and I owned a video production company, so I'm not really new to the program, but I am new to this particular format. (We used it back when you had to buy the program on discs and install it on your hard drive! That's how long it's been!) So I'm rusty, but I'm getting to know this new, online format!  The issue I'm having right now seems SO BASIC that it almost seems silly to ask about it - I just can't see the video from my timeline playing in the Program monitor! Yesterday, I could see it but today I can't; it's just black. If I open the "Import" or "Export" window, then go back to the Editing view, then the Program window has the image from whatever window I opened in it. (See screenshot below)  I updated Premiere this morning, because the system said there was an update available, and I wonder if that's the issue? Or is there some simple setting that I'm missing? 

Can't figure out how to import fonts in the new beta version (2025). Any help appreciated.Thanks

I am using  Beta 25.2.0 build 7Using some stock motion titles that have worked forever now are cropping for some reason.I find nothing causing this(anchor point, zoom, fit to frame.......Suggestions welcome.I posted to the Beta group, too.I tried a different motion title(smoke), and It works as intended.   

Premiere Pro 25.2.0.008 (2024-11-05 Build 😎 seems to have broken ALL non-audio (video only) source clips from being loaded into the monitor. Both the double click of a clip or a match frame from timeline produce the same results. Source Window is greyed out for non audio (video only) clips. Also- Random number letter sequence appears in Source:name tab for ALL clips in source window. Please fix asap! Mission critical! Mac Studio. M2 Max. 32GB Ram. Default build. Fresh machine. Worked fine on previous beta builds. Auto update nuked it.

You can allocate iGPU (UHD 770) for decoding, and dGPU (Intel Arc) for encoding. Currently, only one device works for both decoding and encoding.

This is really wierd.  I've exported a speaker's slides as PNGs, which are named Slide 1, 2, 3...10, 11, 12, etc., without leading zeroes.  I forgot to put them in. I dropped them in a bin which came up in list view. Everything sorted nicely, running 1, 2, 3 as expected. But when i shifted to tile view, they were listed, 1, 10, 100, 2, 20, 3, etc. I discovered in tile view I can choose "List View sort" in the sorting  area, and it straightens out.  But if it's in User Order, it's all messed up. And if I put it in Freeform View it can't be sorted except by manually moving things around. Why is this???  Why can't User Order and Freeform View default to the 1-2-3 order? BTW this also happens if I'm importing a bitmap stream as a clip and forget the leading zeroes. I've resorted to running stills through Lightroom and exporting with a letter followed by leading zeroes. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (

Auto Save is bringing Premiere Pro to the front, even when it is hidden or in the background while working in other applications like a web browser. This is very annoying. This is happening in Premiere Pro 22.1.0 BETA (build44) on macOS 11.6. Steps to reproduce:Create a new project in Premiere Pro and import a few assets into a new sequence.Set Auto Save to 5 minutes in PreferencesOpen a web browser and surf the internet until next Auto Save occurs. Observe how Premiere Pro Auto Save brings Premiere Pro front and center, even though it wasn't the active application. Expected behaviour: Premiere Pro should be able to Auto Save in the background without bringing the application in front of all other applications.

Hey I'm on prem pro beta v25.2 I can't drag clips from bin to to the source monitor. I tried the right click open in source monitor option but nothing happens after I select it. I tried double clicking as well but nothing. I double clicked on a clip in the timeline and it opened in the source monitor so i went back to try the previously mentioned steps but, still it didn't work.I'm using a desktop OS win 10, 16GB RAM, RYzen 7 1700 8 core cpu

The Beta already transcribed my audio but when I create the subtitles out of the transcription its stuck at the end of the loading process. How can I fix that?

Got this bug after latest update over the weekend. While trying to replace any clips by an after effects composition get the "Importer Reported a generic error". Happened with clips from other sequences, raw files, source graphics, all types of clips. I can import from AE projects into Premiere and that is my workaround for the moment but it's so much faster and more precise if I do the other way around, especially with long raw files. So far I haven't edited another of the 5, 6 hour raw videos but I imagine the pain with that if this doesn't get patched. Any other possible solutions or workarounds? Is anybody having the same issue? Couldn't find anything about it except on 2024 and 2023 updates. From what I've read in other posts in previous years, resetting workspaces didn't work, and I don't use files directly from any cloud services.

Premiere Pro Beta 24.1.0PC - Windows 10 After I've applied the new Enhance Speech effect to a clip, resizing it will cause the audio to echo, almost as if the audio track is duplicated and out of sync with itself.It happens whether increasing or decreasing the time.The only solution is to close and re-open my project.The audio track I'm using is mono.

Hi all, I use the latest Beta version 25.1I have videos in sequences, this time portuguese language.The transcript is done kind of ok, though when I want to change a word that was misunderstood it does not take it...or when a word is missing in the transcript (...) for 1.5sec showing and I add it it does not take it over either. I assume that is a glitch.Best,D 

PrPro Beta was recently updated and was alarmed when my Workspaces went missing; and posted something to that effect, but got no response. I just trueid to open PrPro Besa and all menues are grayed out and a blank window open on the op Pr interface.  Just a black, bland wondow.  I did get an error 7 message, now I don't even get that. What's happening, and how do I recoverer

I realise adobe won't comment on exact timeframes but just wondering if we're talking weeks or months? Or years?

When duplicating a sequence that contains music that was remixed using the new remix function, the music in the newly duplicated sequence turns out different.   When copying a remixed track and pasting to another sequence, the pasted remixed music becomes different.  Please fix this.

Premiere Beta v25.1.053 does not display RED video anymore, neither in the Program nor the Source Monitor. I can only get frames to show using Software Rendering, which is not an option. I can see h264/h265 and ProRes footage just fine, just REDRAW that's broken. I think the last version or at least the one before worked fine. Not sure if I missed one. Deleted the Settings folder to try to reset everything, but no change in behavior.

HiI noticed an awesome update that was released with Beta (i think). Color Fonts Support-> Enable rendering of Emoji and Color Fonts in text layers. However, I'm having issues with it. When I'm trying to use the keyboard viewer (window + .) and insert an emoji to text layer, it's still not rendering it properly. What am I missing?  Thank you  

I'm very happy that premiere is overhauling color managment. I work on macos primarily for videos for the web. I set my projects to 2.2 as this is known to be a good compromise for most devices (it will look accurate for sRGB displays and only have a small 1.96 to 2.2 difference for most macos users).  But exports still are tagged as NCLC 1-1-1 when i'm working in gamma 2.2. Shouldn't they be tagged as 1-13-1 or 1-4-1 (1-13-1 for sRGB seems more supported than 1-4-1 gamma 2.2). I've seen some suggest that YouTube has started supporting those two tags.When re-tagged as 1-13-1 exports would match premiere's GUI program in quicktime. Ideally frame.io's web app could also be updated to support these tags on macos. Right now, is the only way to get client's to consistenly approve color to set Premiere to 1.9 Quicktime gamma, upload to frame.io (file has 1-1-1 tag and that's what frame shows), and live with the export being a little crunchy on sRGB displays? cc: @Ale

Hi,   I've done more testing with working in ACEScct and I have my doubts. Some color space aware effects do more damage than not managing them and others don't show any sensible difference leaving me questioned as to why they even need a 'color space aware' function.   Dip To Black Enable/Disable: No discernable difference. Appearance: Not desireable. Reveals clipping light, show harsh transitions and color banding in the transition even if they are diminished by the DRT. It also seems like the middle 'true black' frame in the transition is not the black point of the log working color space, just zero, resulting in a negative black. This undesirable appearance is not present when using Direct SDR. For reference in Resolve the appearance does not change at all when switching between a direct SDR or 'HDR' scene referred log working space when a similar dip to black transition is applied. It always looks like that of Premiere's Direct SDR workflow.   ACEScct: Direct SDR:

Download Adobe Premiere Beta and wanted to use AI, but constantly writes that: It is impossible to download AI models. How can this be fixed? There are no problems with the Internet, the program has been updated to the latest version. Thanks a lot in advance!
