Maybe I missed an announcement, but I just discovered that the PR on line guide includes the new Caption workflow in the Graphics Section. Graphics, Titles, and Animation -> Graphics and titles -> Working with captions https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/user-guide.html/premiere-pro/using/working-with-captions.ug.html There is a link to the "old" caption workflow. https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/old-captions-workflow.html Stan
When exporting my last project with ACC audio, the audio sounded terrible (tinny and flat). Changed the audio settings to MPEG instead and the sound came out perfectly, BUT for some reason there is a very noticable colour and exposure difference in the export. I have done multiple exports with different H.264 configs, all with the gamma correction LUT, but the only thing that makes the colours and exposure change is when I switch the the MPEG audio option. Both problems go away when I export to ProRess, but the file sizes are huge and not supported by some platforms. Anybody know why this is happening? Is it maybe just a Beta Bug? Cheers
hey guys - i keep getting this audio error - i thought it was mp4, but i converted to prores and still have the issue.
I cant import an mp3 file into the beta version 2021, using the normal verison, i dont habve this problem. wave files are normal, too, in both versions Moved from regular Premiere Pro to the correct forum... ModTo find a forum for your program please start at https://community.adobe.com
Hi! I'm a beta tester for the speech to text feature in Premiere Pro. Where can I share my feedback that it would be helpful, anyone know?
Hey folks, Last week I applied for the early access program to try out the speech-to-text functionality in Premiere Pro. It said something about how long it would take to find out, but I missed it go by... Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes to find out if an application for early access is accepted or denied? Has anyone experienced being turned down? Did they say why? I could really use it for a project that I am working on, and would love to know asap if this is a transcription solution or if I should be looking elsewhere. Thanks!
I am having an issue where I startup the program and it freezed 1-2 times, I have to force quit and then start it once more to get it to not lock up, It also has an issue where I cant open projects directly, I have to open the program first rather than click the project in my folder
The software does not let you copy and paste the text. When you paste in the text it does not save it. I had a basic project with two videos and two different sequences. I created a transcript and captions on the first video. Then I imported the 2nd version and did the same with that one. At first, it would not export the .srt file for the 2nd video, but once it did, it had actually exported the caption file from the first video.
I am not able to use the transcribing feature for some reason. I have my pc specs attached. How can the problem be fixed?

Just love editing with Premiere Pro....
unable to add mp3 audio files to Premiere pro beta. Also audio files of video are disabled System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.0.0.25 OS: macOS v11.2.0, RAM: 8.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8
I'm part of the Beta testing for the early access to transcription, and I noticed on my end how hard it is for the system to develop transcriptions on my end, especially after all the edits. Maybe we need more time or have to do it before adding in more files to the original audio being used. Second thing is, the ability to type captions is a little challenging. Because the transcription is a difficult process, I have to type it out. However, when I do type it out and I press the space button, it often leaves the typing field and goes back into my timeline which can be a mess since I type pretty fast. it's a little annoying, but I'm glad we have this feature. It's a lot faster, but if they can just fix that typing mechanic if the transcription needs more work.
Hi, I am on a tight deadline and I had noticed that this alert kept popping up as I was editing saying, "Audio not found at 00." I ignored the alerts because my audio was working just fine as I edited everything in my timeline. Once I exported the project and reveiwed it, the audio sounded muffled and then parts of the audio were indeed missing at random points. Ever since I got my new Macbook Pro with the M1 Chip, I've been experiencing a lot of mishaps with Adobes programs. Can anyone guide me with a workaround so that I can export my project with a quick turnaround? Thanks in advance!
50-60% of the time I try to start these application the splash screen is shown but none of the things it loads are shown, the icon bounces in the dock but if I right click it says the app is non responsive. I have to force quite it and then restart. When it works I know immediately as there are a load of things loaded (the text changes far to quick to read) and it loads in less than a couple of seconds.
See my screencast. I've tried restarting and can't find a workaround yet - ripple trim is made impossible by this bug. It very weirdly ripple trims the clip next to it instead, even if that clips is very far away! https://youtu.be/7NUx74iyqFg
Has anyone else had issue with exporting SRT files? Aside from this issue, the auto transcription feature has been incredible and has saved me so much time! However, I'm never consistently able to export my caption files without having to restart the program. Thankfully I have a workaround for the time being but this does get a little frustrating 😕😕
When you do zoom in or zoom out on the timeline using a touchscreen premiere pro sometimes (and by sometimes I mean 1/2 chances) holds the virual Ctrl (like if you've hold on it by hand on the keyboard) so if you try to press any other key the premiere would operate as if you've been holding Ctrl + the key. So the work around is after you do the zoom in zoom out with your touch you have to press the real Left Ctrl (particularly the Left one) to unhold it...the touch screen is on my Asus ROG Duo laptop (GX550LXS).
Build 29Feb 17Unable to export an SRT file from Captions window menu. I was able to export a text file.It would open a file explorer window but no file was created.
Hello!Transcript can't generate subs after 3' 14" (look attached pic)cheers
When Pr Icon is clicked in M1 Macbook Dock, it just bounces continuously without opening until forced to quit. This can happen multiple times in a row before finally opening. Thanks
New feature works fine for me , missing the ability to export SRT from Premiere. I noticed that by default Premiere select Minion font for caption track , but this can be changed by importing previously saved text styles into the project and then by selecting this style when creating a captions for the timeline. Would it be possible to store those .prtexstyle files e.g. in library folder, or is there any other font change opitons in a future ?
I'm running Premiere Pro V 15.0.0 BETA (Build 25[R]) on the new M1 2020 Mac Mini running macOS Big Sur V 11.2.1.Several native audio effects have been applied to the dialogue audio to clean it up and EQ, specifically Dynamics and Parametric Equalizer (screenshots attached). When viewing the video in Premiere, it sounds perfect. After exporting using the built-in "YouTube 1080" preset, which I've used for years, the audio is awful. It sounds muffled like the person is underwater or in the next room.I can't figure out where the disconnect is or why the audio would be exact inside the project but can't export.
Having trouble re oping the transcript box. Once it is closed out, I can't re open it to re transcribe the sequence.
Weird.14.9 build 38[R] with captions. I have a sequence that I manually captionned. I needed an intro and outro, so I nested it by going to the projects panel, dragging the sequence to build a new one. Then I worked on that, adding visual and graphics on top of that.Layers were : Ess Graphics Obj + Images, nested sequence and audio as one sequence. Quit Premiere Pro, reopened the project and…My "new sequence" was a mess :APPEARING Captions, Ess Graphics Obj + Images,DISAPPEARED video sequence, ONLY audio sequence I ruled out the naming issue by renaming the sequence (the copy had the same name in my first issue). Am I the only one concerned ? 2min Video of the issue linked
