I added some materials to my library but they show with a generic icon. I was sort of expecting them to have a preview af the material?

I'm currently trying Stager as a Keyshot replacement. I miss support for 3dconnexion hardware, is that in the works for a near future update?

Hello good morning everyone !Is there a way  to export your .png files from the animation tab at an exact dimension of 1920x1080 for 1080p video ?  I just exported a test png on a new project and I produced a weird size of 2602x1684, and last night I exported another project and the file were smaller than 1920 and I couldn't figure out how to change the size.  Thank you for help !

I have a 3D scan to which I've applied a displacement map and a normal map in Stager. Can I export this to STL in order to 3D print?

 Its stucked here forever, M1 chip.  

Hello everyone, I'm super new to Adobe Substance, so maybe (I hope) the answer to my question is easy. I have issues with Adobe Substance Stager. When I duplicate an object, sometimes (NOT always, thats te weird thing, and the reason i'm not only doubting myself) blue lines are staying on the object, even if it's not selected anymore. Can somebody tell me what's the problem here? Thank you!

Hi all,I am new to using 3D modeling software, so I am probably missing something simple. I am making a collage of different models that I downloaded froma few different sites, and one of the models reflects red whenever light is shone on it. I've rendered out a still and it still happens.I have imported the models into Stager, arranged them how I wanted, and when I get to lighting only the Earth reflects red. I've checked the lighting hue, but it's not that. What am I missing?

I once installed stager for seeing what this it.Now once a week or even more often there's a notification about stager in Creative Cloud Desktop. I am not interested in it anymore, so they are quite annoying.Is there a way to get rid of them?If not, Adobe, please create a possibility!

I was working in Adobe Stager yesterday and had spent a significant amount of time adding materials to my model. I could only apply materials to two elements at a time between loading windows. Very slow! I was working on a iMac Pro desktop and was surprised on how laggy this program is. I finally got to a point where I wanted to render the file so I initiated a render. I quickly noticed I missed an element and canceled my render. After this, most of the buttons became inactive and upon going back to my viewport, everything was blank. I tried to quit the program normally and it did not work. I finally had to "force quit". Ever since, I have not been able to open my file. Once I do, it shows a loading pop-up and gets stuck at 90%. My computer says the program is running fine, but I've tried this multiple times and on different computers and it never opens. I've left it on this screen for over an hour and still nothing… We recently purchased a couple Enterprise licenses for

** I HAVE UPDATED THIS POST WITH A PHOTO SHOWING THE COMPARISON ! ******** ----> So I've been testing EXPORTS from Adobe 3D Modeler.I exported a simple combo of squares, round objects and exported them from Substance Modeleras an .OBJ file. I bring them into Stager, and no matter what I do, the object look so so bad.  The lighting is bad, the material applied is bad. So I remember watching somebody export a .FBX format from Modeler.... so I try thatand BINGO.... the surface of the object in Stager is amazing.... the materials look so good too !........ so what is the problem ? .... is .OBJ a bad way to export from Modeler ?and... WHY doesn't Adobe have a video on exporting different formats and WHICH format is the bestfor exports from Modeler into Stager ? .... Adobe really needs wake up on little things like this.So much wasted time trying to figure out things that they ( paid employees ) should be on and addressing in ways of education via website, or YouTube tutorials.&

In this video we can see idea that we can use Atlas Material in Stager https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkcObacojRA I try to send material directly from the Substance Web Assets into Stager or ..download and then import into Stager.. but it's not possible. So is it possible or not to use Atlas in Stager or we need to import object with its materials into Stager?   

Hi community,when importing dimension model there are some elements showing in selected mode, but are not selected at all.Other models show different elements selected, but are not..I checked these elements in stager, but nothing seems in "special state".Can you give an idea whats going on?Thanks.Hans

hello, i am a master collection user. I can't access Substance 3D stager for free. Isn't this program included in the master collection package? i need help on this.

I really want to like Stager and I do but, after multiple renders it just hangs on Estimating... for a while and I just have to cancel the render since it doesn't seem to do anything. I have multiple camera angles in the scene and sometimes it will export the render after reaching 100% and sometimes it will just hang on "Estimating..." after fully rendering. Is there an average time it takes for it to export the render? Should it be almost instantaneous after the full render time / % reaches 100%? Or does it take a long time to export?

Hi, I can't find a fix for this issue. The images I place on 3d models appear in low quality, even if the original is super sharp. Importing from PSD UV map gives the same result..

I'm in need of some serious assistance here because for the last year I've been dealing with non-stop issues with anything Adobe 3D-related. The entire suite borders on just about useable at times anyway. I'm not even going to get started on my thoughts in regards to the Substance suite being a completely separate subscription, which by the way, is totally not worth the price Adobe is leeching from its unfortunate users simply due to the fact that it, does. not. work. The rest of the suite works relatively smoothly. Issues are mainly PR and AE issues here and there which are usually quickly resolved. However, AE and ME refuse to communicate with each other.  Now, the problems I can't seem to solve are the ones related to 3D programs. I recently switched from Dimension to Stager, since I have the educational package granted to me by my University I'm able to access the Substance programs, and having used Substance prior to Adobe's acquisition I was quite eager to use

Hi,I am using substance stager 2023, and when I use the paint material preset from the browser and play with the paint peeling effect it creates a really blocky output, regardless of the selected resolution. In the image the texture resolutions was set up as 2048px. I was just wondering if this is the intended effect or if I am not doing something correctly. Also, the paint grain intensity seem to have no visual effect on any meshes from playing around with the sliders.Any help anyone could provide would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi community,I imported a model from dimension.I did some work on model and started circle animation, but model circles vertical and not horizontal.Trying to rearrange model to the ground failed.Now I see strange xyz signs never seen before. see screenshot.What´is wrong there.How can I solve that? I am getting pretty good results with Stager in general.Especially with glass renders, I am very impressed.One thing that seems missing is a simple tickbox to add caustics for when the light streams through a drinking glass for example.That would add a lot of realism.

Habe ich das alles richtig Verstanden? Aus Substance 3D kann man aktuell eine Videos rendern. Bewegende Objekte und Kamerafahrten sind nicht möglich. Man kann lediglich Standbilder rendern. Sind solche Funktionen geplant und wenn ja, bis wann kann man damit rechnen? Die Frage stellt sich für uns aktuell, da wir entsprechende Arbeitsplätze in den nächsten Wochen ausstatten und entscheiden müssen welche 3D Software wir im Unternehmen einführen.?

Hello and good morning,I downloaded a free 3D model this morning ( .obj ) and tried to move the pivot point,but 3D Stager really doesn't do a good job. It is so restricted in how it is able to pivot.It seems that any obj file that is NOT craeated in Stager does not have the ability to really move thatpivot point around at all.  IF you use a pre-defined 3D ojbect that comes with 3D stager, the controlis a bit better, but still very lacking.  For example, if you want to move the pivot point away from theobject, it is 100% impossible to do this.  I would love to see the ability to manually place the pivot point of an object anywhere you want it. I really hope that in future releases that we will see a more powerful pivot tool.  Thanks for listening ( message for the Adobe 3D Stager engineers )

Hello,Is it possible to duplicate a graphic that you have imported into 3D Stager ?I imported a .png file, and wish to use it 2 times on an object, but do not see any way toduplicate the .png file.  I've tried right clicking on the png file in the material area and there is no optionto duplicate it.  Thanks for any help !

Stager doubles the cost ... what can it do for me that 3DSMax can't? In addition the CC "All apps" doesn't include Substance 3D? And finally, I've been paying $53/mo for years and now I see "All apps" listed at $40/mo?  How does one go about getting the lower monthly rate? Cheers, Rob.
