I'm creating a team project from a regular premiere project, and when I create the team project initially everything transfers over, mainly the clip markers show up on the new team project. but as soon as I close it and reopen the team project, the markers then disappear and are completely gone! why are the clip markers disappearing when I convert a regular project to a team project?
Hi,I'm using Team Project for the first time on a large project. We are three editing stations working together. We do not have shared storage, but instead the material is mirrored on local drives. We all have Macs.A strange issue started a few weeks back: If we don't close the project at the end of the workday, but leave it open for the the next day, every single media file goes offline the next morning. It doesn't happen right away, though. At first everything is fine, but after 5 minutes - pop! Red all over. No help in trying to reconnect. The only solution is to restart the application. The project is big, and it is steadily growing. Opening the project and loading the media takes about 30 minutes. We would rather spend those 30 minutes editing...Any suggestions?

Hi I have tried to convert a current Premiere Prop Project (2018) to a Team Project. However I am not getting the option to add collaborators. I also can't find this option if I search for it under file. Do you know how I can resolve this? Thanks!
Markers on clips disappear when closing and re-opening later Team Projects in Premiere Pro. We rely on markers to organize our footage in the timeline, but now they are useless since they disappear all the time.
I recently started using team projects in Premiere and After Effects 2018. One issue that I'm having is that load times are incredibly long. (Sometimes around 15min.) I can understand some load time when downloading changes from another computer, but even opening the same team project in After Effects that I already have open in Premiere (on the same computer) takes an incredibly long time. Similarly, it takes quite some time for changes to update in Premiere after I change something in After Effects (I'm left with "media pending" yellow screen for 5-6 min. For context, as my current project is loading, it says I have over 1000 media items. What strategies can I use to lower these load times? System Specs:- Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update- i7 quad core 7th gen- NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080- 32GB RAMGraphics assets are stored locally on solid state, footage assets are stored on networked server storage (10Gbit ethernet, SSD RAID 01).
Question: Anyone else experiencing this or have a resolution?History: We work on projects that utilize both team and non-team. I have noticed that when switching between a non-team project and a team project, the team project loses its references to rendered cache files in the specified cache location. However, the actual media files are still present. Normally on a non-team project, the user would be queried to find them. However, on a team project that option is never presented. I have ensured that both projects cache locations are set properly when opening and working in those projects. I can repeat this on multiple machines in our facility. Thanks.
Hi all I have an issue in After effects with Team project. I can't get back onto a previous version project. I tried to import the older version By right-click and select import from media browser panel in after effects, seem like it's work but! it's doesn't make any change. the project still be last version! anyone know how to fix this issue ??After Effects 2017.2 version 14.2.1.34MacPro Late2013 2.7 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon E564 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECCAMD FirePro D700 6144 MB
I am sharing a large project between myself and another editor. However, we are constantly getting conflict messages when we share our work with one another, even if I accept the shared version. Any future changes will come in conflict with what the other editor is doing. Am I missing something? Or doing something wrong?
(using a 15-inch Macbook Pro version 10.14.3 / Premiere Pro is version 13.0.3 (Build 9))Hey, so I've been searching online for help regarding this issue, but it seems like no one else has had such a problem.Basically, a partner (for this school project) and I have been utilizing Premiere Pro's Team Project feature in order to collab and edit this video together at separate locations. Everything was going relatively fine, it took a while for us to figure out how Team Projects worked in terms of Media Management and all that, but that's a standard learning curve.THEN, the project just.. stopped working for me. I think that my partner had made some changes and I had made some changes, too, so when trying to incorporate them at the same time, the project just froze? So I closed the program and then tried to reopen it, and now what happens is in the picture above.Every time I click on the Team Project, the regular loading screen (shown above) pops up for a split second and then it just imme
Hello,Our team is using a Team project in Premiere Pro and are ready to start integrating gfx using After Effects. Ideally, we would use Linked Comps and have done so successfully with other team projects in the past (using AE 2018 & Premiere 2018). However, with this specific team project when we go to create a linked comp After Effects never gets past "Loading Individual Asset Descriptions". The elapsed time freezes and stays frozen until a force quit. If we try opening the team project from After Effects directly the same issue occurs. This project has never been opened in After Effects before and opens perfectly fine in Premiere. We are using the most updated versions of Premiere (13.0.3) and After Effects (16.0.1) and have identical Mac Pros. I've tried going back to AE 2018 (15.1.2) and opening the team project but experience the same issue.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Em
Since starting to use team projects, both of our edit systems have this issue where the media drives are constantly spinning. It's like they never stop being scanned. I can not even have a timeline or clip open and the drives are still going. Never had this problem before moving to a team project.
We are having an issue with our team project where it is crashing when it's loading. We can open the team project and the media loads, but it gets to the last clip (screengrab attached) it freezes. We have tried opening the project on another user and initially this worked, but once the media had cached we had the same issue where the project freezes and crashes. However, there are 2 users where the project is working without issues. We are on PC (HP Z4 workstation) with Windows 10 and Premiere 13.0.3
Most of the media used in the project has suddenly gone offline. I am looking in the media management menu in the team projects tab and it is only acknowledging that 171 pieces of media even exists when there is much more in the project. So how can I replace the media mapping for the footage when it isn't showing up in the window at all? I have been trying to fix this for a frustratingly long time and I've had no luck, any help would be appreciated, thanks[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from regular Premiere Pro to Team Premiere... I've been on chat with Adobe support for hours and they keep sending me back and forth between techs with zero help, so I'm hoping my fellow users might have some advice!I manage a group in Adobe Teams. A member of the team (User X) left our company, so we removed his account and added a new one for his replacement (User Y). Members of our team are trying to share files in Premiere with User Y, but the system keeps defaulting to User X for some reason. The error reads "Failed to send invitation to [User X]."Does anyone know of some cache somewhere that needs to be cleared or something?
I am trying to work on a team project, but do not have the footage readily available, so I can't edit the project. Does the owner of the project need to send me all the footage so I can edit it from there? Or is it just they share the project through email or sign-in? I would really appreciate the help with this! Thanks in advance!
I've hired a very experienced editor from another continent to team edit a rather large project. When he accessed the shared proxy folder on CC, the files began to automatically download to his local drive and sync. When he discovered he would not have enough local hard drive space, he began backing up and deleting files to make more drive space. In the interim, he paused the sync and download of the proxy files, which at that point were close to half of the 4,000 files in the project. Now, he can't seem to re-sync and download them. He can't find the files in the deleted folder on CC. I can't find a way to unshare the folder with him, and then reshare. We're stuck. He's having trouble getting in to any chats with Adobe, and I'm not in the mood to spend up to 5 hours on hold with them. Yes, twice I've done that and never got help. Is there a team projects hotline?
I've been working as part of a team project for months, and last week my project just stopped working for me. Every-time I open my team project it looks to be going through the media cache and then eventually stops. I will sit with the Rainbow Wheel for hours, unable to click on anything, causing me to force quit and try again. Here is what I've done thus far:Restart my computer.Clear Media Cache FilesLog out of Creative Cloud, log back in.Updated and changed my CC email accountRemoved myself as a collaborator and re-invited myself to the Team Project using another editor.Had the project Converted from a Team Project to a normal Premiere ProjectRenamed that normal premiere project and moved it to a different location.Tried opening up an older version of the Team Project.Lastly I tried opening up the project from two other users, on two other computers, project opened relatively quickly and could go to work. I saw that I have a new Premiere version I can try, but worried that migh
Hello! In our project, one long clip has been edited into smaller clips (with different parts of the longer clip), then placed on separate timelines. Unfortunately, we had to rename some of the folders on a Local Drive, which inevitably, create all the clips to go offline. However, after relinking, we lost the specific segments in the smaller clips, and they all became the same - meaning each of the smaller clips had the same footage, and not the specific footage taken from the longer clip. Is there a specific relinking procedure? Thanks!
I am working in team with team members in a different location and we are all working on the same project. I have 25+ years of software development in large teams, so I'm familiar with the concepts and workflows, in general. The Adobe Team Project mechanism seems to be missing a few key features, but I thought there may be work around for some of these issues.#1 Revert/Abandon all ChangesMany times I am looking at the project and Premiere thinks I am changing it because I modified a setting (e.g. mute/solo a track) or maybe I actually made a change that I really don't want to keep. There is no way to abandon all changes since the last sync. You can only go forward. In a non-team program you would do this by exiting the program and simply not saving your changes. There seems to be no equivalent in Team Projects.#2 What ChangedWhen pushing changes to the cloud you are provided with a comments box and a list of changed assets, but later when you look back at
We're working a fairly significant sized project using Team Project. However, whenever one of the editors or assistants shares a change, it takes the other computers a very long time to update those changes (appox. 30-45mins), even if the changes were very minor (e.g. creating a bin). Is there something we're doing wrong, settings-wise?Thanks.
I keep getting an error:"An error was encountered while writing the output file. The output destination could not be found. Check that the output directory still exists. If the output directory is on a network or external device, check that the connection is active."The setup for my ingestion is as follows for my team project setup: I have it save a copy to my external hard drive and then save a proxy to the preset 'creative cloud'.But when I insert a clip into premiere it saves a copy to external HD (no problem there), but while making the proxy it errors, because it can't access the drive. The silly thing is, if I change that setting from the built in preset 'creative cloud' to use the browser and find the exact same folder in creative cloud, it seems to work fine. This is odd.I am figuring it has an issue with my creative cloud being on a different drive (G drive) rather than being in the default C drive and the code is looking for a wrong drive.Anyone else have this issue or i
Hi, I am trying to open a team project in 2018. The project gets to the "processing loaded assets" section where it just seems to stop loading. I have tried opening it in 2019 to no avail also tried opening it from the other collaborator's computer which also did not work. I have waited over 2 hours on the computer and have tried restarting the computer and the project. I also can't open the project through the media browser tap in Premiere or create a new team project from the auto-saves. Any advice on how I can open this project as I need to work on it today, it is time sensitive?
hi everyone!i have a problem:i can't save the project in any way.. thx for help!
