Abusive deactivation by Adobe of my genuine Acobat licence

Question

I bought 10 years ago from the Adobe website a licence for Acrobat XI Pro and the full CS 5 suite. A couple of days ago, a window poped up on my scrren indicating that my serial number had been hacked and that I had 5 days to by a new version of Acobat !

I contacted support, proved purchase of the licence and they just told me that my Acrobat version was too old for support. What kind of service is this ? I paid a high price for Acrobat XI Pro, it is my primary work tool, and I am now unable to work unless I subscribe to a new version of Acrobat !!

That is horrible service, indeed. I would contact them again and demand a full refund of your original purchase, or a new serial number for the version you have, or a free license for the current version.

If they won't accept any of these requests, consider contacting your local law agencies and/or your bank or credit-card company to report fraud and get your money back.
