Adobe Acrobat Pro IX for Mac How to delete, remove, get rid of unwanted grid on a pdf?

I'm using a Mac running OS 10.9.5 and Adobe Acrobat Pro !X Version 11.0.19. 

Problem: I tried to create a grid on a PDF (graphic image).  That resulted in a mess and now every PDF I create (be it a graphic or a text) has the unwanted grid on it. 

Question: How can I delete, remove, get rid of the unwanted grid?

Have you turned on the "Hide/Show => Grid" under the menu bar's "View" option?
