 Hi everyone,Hoping someone can help me figure this out.I have a tool that generates PDF reports, which I then save and sometimes edit. My workflow involves either adding or removing pages from these reports using a PDF editor.Here's the issue:Files with pages removed combine just fine and bookmarks are created as expected.Files with pages added (even if the pages are from the same report) do not generate bookmarks when I combine them.If a file with inserted pages is first in the list when combining, no bookmarks are created at all for any of the files.If it's lower in the list, only the unedited files get bookmarks — the manipulated one does not.I checked the PDF versions:Unedited files are PDF 1.6Edited files with inserted pages show up as PDF 1.7Interestingly, if I use Print as PDF, bookmarks are generated correctly — but that's not feasible with 60–70 files.Any ideas why inserting pages causes this issue with boo

Is there a feature/setting whereby one can limit the amount of time that someone can read or review a pdf? Like... granting access for two hours, then it is no longer available. Thank you.

Hi,We are experiencing difficulty when requesting signatures on a PDF via Adobe. The auto fileds function is picking up areas that we intentionally leave blank and fill them in upon sending to clients. We have tried print to save and it will still pick up active fields. We have attempted to manually scan & upload PDF documents and this generally works. However, is there a way to disable the 'auto' field when in the 'request signature' process?Thank you and your feedback would be greatly appreciated.Di

We print labels for our business using avery, download the PDF & print through adobe on my imac. (Latest update)For two days now im trying to work out what is causing my labels to be printing in a fuzzy grey like font and not the crisp jet black high resolution font we are use to. i have been using this same system for 4 years and  not had a probelm. We have 2 printers acting the same way so its not the printers, its definatly the softwear. Any tips or advice you have would really help me out! 

This is an issue that only happens sometimes and I can't predict when it's going to happen. Sometimes when I convert an Excel file to PDF it only saves the background colors for cells in the report, but not the contents of the cells. Usually I have to close both Excel and Acrobat and then try again, but that has about a 50% success rate.This is how the PDF is saving the Excel file. All of those cells should have text in them.I'm just hoping for an explanation as to why this happens only sometimes. As far as I'm aware all of my software is up to date.

Hi community,I have a planner with 605 pages (with the cover), from page 2 to the end, I have a side bar that contains the 12 months, when someone clicks on it, it gonna head over that specific month, I have added hyperlinks to the Page 2, now I need a way to automate pasting only hyperlinks to all the other pages, layout already exist in all pages, but I need to paste hyperlinks, adding them manually will waste my time and effort (see attached photo to see what I am talking about). If someone could help me with the javascript because I am not familiar with programming

I have a PDF that I need to remove what looks like a watermark across each page, but using the "remove watermark" feature in Adobe X Pro does not remove it. What else can I try to get rid ofwhat looks like a watermark on each page?Thanks,Andy

I'm getting a blank icon when embedding pdf into word. See below.  Using Acrobat ver. 2022.003.20314 64-bit which was installed via Creative Cloud Desktop Has anyone else run into this. Thanks   

I have Acrobat Pro and frequently use 'page rotation' on different pages when compiling my documents to orient to portrait - I am 100% confident it is page rotate NOT "view rotate".Has something been recently updated to cause this as a bug? The only current workaround to make this actually save properly is to 'page rotate' 90 degrees (no effect) then 'view rotate' (which causes image on screen to suddenly be 180 degrees rotated) and then I have to 'view rotate' -90 degrees for the page to view correctly. This is definitely not how the program was operating a week or so ago...what has happened???

Good morning, community! I have the following question. I'm paying for the pro version of Adobe Acrobat to be able to read contracts in PDF format. These contracts are for site rentals and are PDFs that were scanned with a cell phone, so they're images, not text. I've already tested Adobe's built-in AI to extract relevant information, and it does so correctly. The point is, I need to be able to replicate the same thing for a larger batch of contracts. Not all of them have the same format, but I still need to obtain the same information for all of them. My question is whether this can be done, or if there's a way to do it. I'll be looking forward to it!

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,ich habe einen Epson WF-4825 DWF Drucker und wollte vom Gerät aus Duplex Drucken. Das hat soweit auch alles funktioniert, nur heute nicht.Nach viel probieren habe ich festgestellt, dass die PDF Version anstatt 1.4 eine 1.7 gewesen ist, und es deshalb nicht funktioniert hat.Ich musste extra die Version von der geöffneten PDF reduzieren, um dies per Duplex ausdrucken lassen zu können.Wie kann man diesen Fehler beheben, bzw. gibt es in naher Zukunft ein Update dazu?Vielen Dank!

Good day. Wanna thank you early. 🙂 Newbie here. Here's my delima. I frankensteined a form to read the form title and its active buttons from an xml file. This works no issues when viewed on AEM Designer Preview. All buttons are working. But when i view this in Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, none of the properties show (Form Title and buttons). Any suggestions to remedy the issue? TIA.See images below

This may be a simple fix that I'm just not seeing, but I can't find a way to use the free draw tool in Adobe Pro. Until recently, I was using the free version of Adobe Reader, and used the Free Draw and Hilight tools all the time. However, since upgrading to Pro, I can't seem to access the Free Draw tool anywhere, and the hilight tool is very limited (doesn't allow me to select multiple colors, change size, etc). I have looked under every toolset available, and these options seem to have just dissapeared. Is there something I need to do in order to reintroduce them?

I don't have a perfectly square icon. It has irregular shape. So how to make only the image part of the pdf come in as a icon
