Hi Team, I've activated Acrobat Pro today (28th May, 2025) with a payment plan of Annual, billed monthly through a credit card. According to the plan, free trial is for 7 days from today and will be charged Rs. 944/- on 5th June, 2025. But, amount was debited from my credit card immediately after starting the free trial. When I checked with the bank, they said merchant initiated the transaction. I went to edit a PDF and the edit dialogue box opened, but nothing responds when clicking to make changes.I uninstalled, and then reinstalled Acrobat, but the same issue appears. I had to change my computer because my disk died and i installed the adobe Xi pro on my new computer but it is asking me to deactivate the old computer. i am not able to do it beacuse the disk burned. I also don't see any registered deviced on my account. Can you please help?

Hi all, the (well-known) runtime-error 53 reappears more stubbornly after installation of MacOS Sequoia 15.  This time, the well-practiced routine (deleting linkCreation.dotm or Save AsAdobePDF.ppam respectively from their respective folders Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office365/User Content.localized/Startup/… does not work anymore, as the two files are no longer there and thus can't be deleted… (in fact, I searched the files with the finder search engine and could’t find them anywhere else). Just unchecking the addin inside Word oder PPT does not help either... Any suggestions what to do about this tiresome error?Thank you very much!Stephan

I want to add an interactive calendar link to a pdf so when the recipient opens the document they can click on the date and it will automatically add it to their calendar. Is this possible?

I recently received a notification that stated in part that, "support for Acrobat Pro 2020 will end by July 2025, and the licenses will expire on December 1, 2026, after which the product will no longer function." Is this true, and if so, can they really deactivate products I purchased years ago? I have two Acrobat Pro 2020 licenses and am wondering what my options are to keep these products working.

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a persistent performance issue I'm facing with Adobe Acrobat Reader. The application feels surprisingly slow and laggy on my system, even for basic tasks like opening files, scrolling through documents, or zooming.My usage is very simple – I only use Acrobat for viewing PDFs, not for editing or any other heavy tasks. I would expect it to be very responsive, especially given my hardware specifications:Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565UInstalled RAM: 16.0 GBStorage: 256 GB SSDSystem Type: 64-bit operating systemAs you can see, the system should be more than powerful enough to handle a PDF reader without any lag. I'm trying to create an expense reimbursement form that auto calculates amount subtotals based on the selection of expense types. Essentially, I want to have all Travel go into one subtotal field, all lodging to go in another, all per diem in another, etc. Is there a way to perform a SUMIF function in a PDF that will distribute those expense amounts by expense type?  Hello. My Acrobat updated itself to Version 2025.001.20756 (on MacOS Sonoma) and now the file thumbnail is missing from the title bar. My typical workflow for getting notes from client PDFs into photoshop entails clicking and dragging that thumbnail into photoshop to place the page I need. Similar to the attached screenshot, which is instead dragging a file from Photoshop since Acrobat no longer lets you. Is there a way to get this back, and if not, Adobe please add back this functionality. I have a 27" monitor, the 20px that was saved by removing the title bar is not helpful.  

Adobe Acrobat - Right Click - Convert Multiple Documents I am in Windows 11 and others in my company in Windows 10 When we highlight multiple documents at once, then click CONVERT TO PDF - the documents go to the COMBINE page. We dont want to combine them, we want to CONVERT them in bulk to pdf. It used to work and now it doesnt.

How do I embed a PDF in a Word document to send to others outside of my office

I am trying to add a button to a fillable PDF so that the person who needs to complete and return the form can add a few pictures.Is there a way to do this?Eg. 

I am saving a Microsoft Words file which has few tables in the file to a PDF (Sample rows below).PTPVA  OTPVB  STPVC While printing and saving it as PDF, the PDF arranges and shows the tables in right visual order of  PT, OT and ST. However, when we select the text and paste details in notepad, the order of tables read is not the same. Like PT is selected first followed by ST and then OT.  We do not have missing table rows, just order seems to be disarranged. Are there any changes needed to word file which will save and select the tables in same order. Due to this issue, PDF to text reading programs are reading table details in different order than as seen in the PDF creating confusion to readers.     

Thanks to this thread I was able to attach files to my Adobe Form but my follow-on question is this: How do I or a user confirm the file (such as a Word doc or PDF) was successfully attached? 

Help!  Been on the phone 3x with Adobe staff, 12 hours on this Runtime Error 53 Visual Basic MACPDFM. Adobe has been helpful in doing a temporary fix (they acknowledge it's an issue ADOBE has) but then the problem continues to come back for Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.  Does any user or Adobe customer have a solution that is PERMANENT or is this something I will need to live with this error every time I open a word or ppt file?Seeking "HOW TO", "GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING" guidance from the experts

I am using the new version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023. I added enhance a scanned document or image to the toolbar. When I click it, it selects the image but there is no “enhance” button. I am having a strange issue that I never had before. I am working in a PowerPoint presentation and need to send my client a PDF. I "save as" PDF using settings I have used a million times before and when I open the file in Acrobat X Pro all is fine except the background color will not show. I previewed the same file in Reader and all is how it should be. I have used this template hundreds of times with no issue. Here are some things I have tried in my troubleshooting:1) used export feature instead of "save as" -- same problem.2) Copied background color boxes from master and pasted into a new master in a new file -- same problem.3) Opened an older presentation with a different template and did "save as" to PDF and it is showing perfectly in Acrobat Pro.I have searched online for answers and can't find anything that could be suddenly causing this. I have made no new updates to my computer.Also, is there a way I can attached screenshots so you can see more clearly the issues I am having?A

Hi, my Acrobat automatically updated and the UI changed drastically and both comments and pages preview are on the right column but I can only display the comments OR the pages preview and no longer see both at the same time (I used to have the pages on the left and comments on the right).This is really exasperating me since monday…Thanks a lot for your help about this

Hello,I used the Adobe certificate feature to sign a professional document, but when I merge several documents using another tool, the signatures disappear. Hello togetherWe have quiet an unusual problem here.After the user sent a pdf via mail he cant mark or move the remaining open pdf anymore.If he opens them up again everything works again.Do you know about this issue or can somebody help us ? Our current version:2025.001.20623 Greetings

I read several newspapers online for broadcast to the blind community. Many of these newspapers are posted as a .pdf.I read the pages in the 'read' mode; otherwise, the sides of the pages are cut off. If I scroll down a page or move to another page, I have to reset the view to 'read' each time. Is there a way to permanently lock the read view?Thank you.

Every day I use Adobe Acrobat to combine files and save the combined files as one new file, then send an email with the file (using outlook) – in a new email the “attach file” action shows my recent files list, and those files I create/save from acrobat always appeared there until suddenly it stopped last week.   This is only for files saved from Adobe Acrobat, because everything else in outlook and recent works as expected.Also to note, I believe there was an update to Adobe that was pushed through last week. Adobe version 2025.001.20630 (64bit)Microsoft 365 for business version 2507 (using "old" outlook, not the new version)

Hi everyone,I am working with some PDF files that contain a lot of high resolution images, and the file size has increased quite a bit. I would like to ask if there is a way or setting in Adobe Acrobat to reduce the size while maintaining the sharpness?I tried exporting some documents related to the classic game Mahjong (e.g. Mahjong123.de) to present in PDF, but the images are too heavy. Which preset should I use when “Save as Optimized PDF”?
