I have a Word file that contains several tables. When I convert this Word file to PDF, I can see some extra dotted borders appearing at the top and bottom of the tables. How can I resolve this issue?

This functionality comes and goes, but as of the past few days it's completely stopped working for me. I used to be able to add a text comment to one PDF, and then copy/paste it to another PDF. I add notes to 100s of signed documents at a time so I can't edit them -- I really need this comment functionality!!! Any way to fix this issue? Or bring this ability back???

Hi Adobe Community, I’m encountering an issue when working with Adobe Acrobat PDF documents saved on a shared drive (NAS or server). Every time I try to save or edit a document, I get an error message that says: "The file may be read-only or another user may have it open." I am then forced to save the document with a different name or in a different folder.  This is causing some confusion, as I end up with multiple versions of the same PDF document in one folder, and sometimes I accidentally delete the wrong version. This issue only started recently, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. Has anyone experienced this problem when working with files saved on a shared drive or network server? Is there a configuration or setting that could be causing this? Any advice or troubleshooting steps to resolve it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Today I opened my Adobe Acorbat and was negatively astonished how slow and clunky the software reacts. Some functions ( adding text and geometry ) have such a huge delay that it is nearly impossible to work with it. Geometry is not printed out ( 2 circles do not appear on the paper ) Acrobat tells me that it is not possible to convert my .pdf in a .jpg because the size is too big ( ADOBE WHAAAAT??? ) the file has 500kByte. Etc., etc. If this performance remains, I will quit my abo. Sorry ADOBE, improvment gone wrong??? What did you do to this once great software???

Hello,  does anyone know how I could remove the Document information dictionary and Document info fields other than modification date from a PDF file created in InDesign? The PDF/X-6 compliance check in Preflight tool gives the following two issues: I tried to find somethin relevant in the custom fixups menu, but nothing that would fix these issues.  Thanks for your time, David 

I've looked through the forum's here and seen quite a number of similar experiences, although mostly from 3-4 years ago. Is there really no way to recover the highlights and comments? This is hours of work. Is acrobat really that unstable?

Need help! I have created a fillable PDF with sections as in the attached file. The problem I am having is that every time I enter a value in any input field, I am getting an error message “The value entered does not match the format of the field [FIELDNAME]” in the calculated fields. I checked the definitions of the calculated fields and couldn’t find anything wrong. One thing I noticed is that the error messages decrease as I ignore them and continue with the rest of the rows. Could this be because the numerator or denominator is zero (or blank)? I hope someone can help me with this problem. Thank you!

Have MacBookAir  latest version updates 10.13.6Brother printer: HL-L5200DWT - Laser dual tray. Assured by Brother that printer is compatible with Mac and is able to print mixed size letter/legal docs. All set up with Br-Script 3 Printer Driver.NEITHER Adobe Reader or Adobe Pro are able to get mixed size documents to print- I set up the file to print using Adobe, click the 'choose paper source by pdf page size' option and hit 'print'. I then get an 'error' message on the Brother Printer, that the 'no paper in the MP tray' and nothing happens. The Multipurpose tray is designated as a 3x5 size, so why it thinks it should print from that tray is beyond me. The other two trays are designated Legal and Letter. Multiple phone calls to Brother - no solution. They are blaming it on the Adobe application. Since Adobe has no Customer Support aside from this forum ( WHAT???! REALLY???!) this is my only option to find an answer. Anyone else with this or a similar problem and if so- did you fin

Hi - Not sure why, but all of a sudden, but when scanning documents from Acrobat Pro - page 1 scans as requested - letter size. But all of the additional pages have their margins cropped to the content. For example, I have a 3 paragraphs in a text box on page 2, it is scanned OK but then once the scan is complete, Acrobat trims the page so it is no longer letter sized, just the 3 paragraphs. Then page 3 has a table that is about half the page and after scan, Acrobat trums the page so the page is only the table, it is no longer letter size, more 4x6 not 8.5x11. This happens when scanning forms too. Lastly, you will see page 4 has the same content on page 1 but Acrobat has trimmed it / cut the margins. Can't find a fix. Microsoft scan and HP scan don't have that problem, but don't scan as well. Any ideas? (See attached file for example.)

Hi, when I open my adobe acrobat dc pro app on my computer, the app storage ( shown on left panel) can access the documents and downloads on my computer (using window 11).  I don't think this is appropriate .  How do I disable this funtion?  Please help  Thanks

Hi folks, I just purchased a sewing pattern on etsy where you use Acrobat reader to isolate layers to get the size you want. It prints out fine when I solate the layers down to one size, but my printer is giving me grief so I'll have to print elsewhere. I try to export and save the pdf with my size layer isolated, but when I open up the file on another device all the layers are visible and not just the one I need. I want to ensure my size layer is isolated and is the only one visible in the file version I export and send off to be printed to prevent errors. Please advise?

I have a large Excel file with many links to pdf documents. The links were created by a Visual Basic macro. Clicking on a link opens the correct document, but only in full screen mode. Opening the same document any other way (usually Windows File Explorer) does not default to full screen mode. The document's Properties show Page layout and Magnification both as Default and "Open in Full Screen mode" is NOT checked on the Initial View tab. Acrobat Preferences, Full Screen just has checked boxes for "Alert when document requests full screen", "Escape key exits", and "Left click to go forward...". Acrobat Preferences, Page Display shows "Single Page Continuous" Page Layout and 100% Zoom. How can I get the Excel link to open a pdf other than in full screen mode? Thanks for any help!

I get this error every time I try to encrypt with a password. I clear the error and it works the 2nd try, but this happens every first try. I've already tried repairing Adobe. 

When using the "Request E-Signature" tool in the Adobe Acrobat app and providing my email address in the recipients box and pressing the "specify where to sign", the document gets stuck on uploading and then I get the the "exceeded page limit" error message even if the document only has 1 page. This error does not occur when using the web version of Adobe.

I don't know why does your application gets hanged when I upload large PPT files and when I try your web, it just changes the file name after downloading so I 've to open each file to see which file has what content  I've attached the screenshot (it has included percentage symbols after each word)

My Adobe Acrobat isn't showing options for the AI features. I'm based in USA and running USA based OS and programs. I'm using Adobe Acrobat version 2024.002.20895 (64-bit), running Windows 11 Enterprise version 22H2 OS build 22621.3880 Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0 (English). I've tried the solutions in the forum linked below, including deleting the Acrobat files in my AppData folders, but it didn't work. I am so tired of how Adobe has turned to the subscription format of business. No, no one wants to purchase some useless subscription! We want to pay you a fair price for some software that is usable for several years. It's not too much to ask. The most alarming practice that I am aware of is when using acrobat and having to sign or fill out a form. Then you realize something is misspelled or you need to change something and the software won't allow you to do so unless you have the subscription. It's gotten to the point where I just print out the blank form and do it by hand. Acrobat used to be amazing, user friendly, software but now it suffers from the rot of company greed. I encourage everyone I know to stop using Acrobat. The rot is very pervasive and as people turn to other software that is not infected by subscription fever Adobe will implode. Especially when the boomers upholding it start to age out. All the companies attempting these schemes will also go defunct. YouTube, Facebo

Hello,We are a hospital.  We have a volume license for acrobat dc.  When our users are extracting pages from a pdf, acrobat  dc crashes, just stops , and shuts down.Windows 10,  acrobat dc 2015.006.30033.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried repairing. I have tried updating.  Nothing seems to work to resolve this issue.
