Questions

When I run the Accessibility Checker or the Automatically tag PDF, it does not create the <document> tag.  Is this me missing a step, an incorrectly formatted Word (2019) file, or just an Adobe thing.  I know I can create a new tag, but when the PDF is several pages long I haven't seen an easy way to demote all of the existing tags into the Document tag.  Again, it may just be me doing something wrond and looking for advice here.

Hi everyone -Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024.004.20272macOS Sequoia 15.5 As of a couple of days ago, Adobe Acrobat Pro has ceased highlighting the terms it finds when I do a search within a documentThese documents have all been processed using OCR within Adobe Acrobat ProI have not changed any settings Is there any settings I should look at that perhaps were changed somehow that would cause this issue?Any advice on how to fix it? Thank you

Have a user who gets error message each time they launch MS Word:“Custom UI Runtime Error in Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin. (X) An error occurred while calling the callback: “GetImage.”  This is a Windows 11 (22H2) device with Acrobat DC 23.008.20555 and Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise - en-us 16.0.17126.20190 installed.  We have tried repair of both Acrobat and Office.  When that didn't work, uninstalled Acrobat and ran AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021, then reinstalled. Still no joy.  Any solutions short of creating a new profile for the user or rebuilding on a new image?

I don't recall when it started, but seems to have gotten progressively worse.  Whenever I switch tabs or click any menus (top or shortcuts), the spinning wheel appears for 3-5 seconds, then allows me to proceed.  It rarely crashes, but the spinning wheel delays are so frustrating.  Hope there is a solution.  Technical details below. TIA,Scott  

Hi,I have been using Acrobat to essentially create scaled drawings for room layouts for some time now and the font for the measurement tool has always been the same Arial-looking style. I was in the middle of working up a drawing today and out of nowhere the measurement tool font style changed to a Courier-looking style. I was looking online at how to change it back to match all of my work on the document and everything is telling me that the font style for the measurement tool cannot be changed. I am at a loss here. I am currently looking at two different measurements on the same document that have different font styles and I can't seem to do anything to fix it. I was wondering if there was an update or something but I did an update quite a while ago and there was a long process involved with installing the update which I did not go through today so I'm doubtful of that. I would rather not redo all of the measurements that I have already created to match this weird new font style so a

After a clean installation of Windows 10 am I reinstalling my ADOBE products using Creative Cloud. Unfortunate does Acrobat DC fail installation error information:Exit Code: 7 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. I'm using Acrobat Pro subscription. I added a few OSG layers to a pdf and want to rearrange the order. Instructions say to click on a layer and drage. I do this and they don't move and a circle with a line appear. In the properties none are locked, in security everthing is off. I haven't knowingly done anything to set any locks for any of them. What and where to I look to change this and/or why is this happening?

Preflight panel is opening, but not showing anything. I've already tried to reinstall Acrobat and the security checkboxes. Please help. Thanks!

For the past several days, whenever I open a photo or document in Adobe Acrobat, I get a message when I'm trying to close it. Even if I have not made any changes, it says there are unsaved changes to the item, and do I want to save them or discard them?I am using Creative Cloud Desktop on Windows 10. Can anyone tell me why this is happening, and how I can make it stop?

Regarding Acrobat Professional, the Compare Files function, I think it is an important function. However, some results appear out of order among the compared files. I would like to ask Adobe technicians if there are any improvements planned for this function? Or will we have to purchase other products (from third parties, such as InformIT) to compare files and/or content?

We just switched over to the continuous release (version 2025.001.20474), and we're now required to sign into Adobe Acrobat every day, sometimes multiple times a day, when we open a PDF. Since our organization requires 2FA for all logins, this is a major pain in the you know where. Is there a way to minimize how often you have to sign in? Our IT department claims that it is Adobe's fault, however, most of us tend to not trust what they tell us.

Wenn ich nun den Inhalt von einem Textfeld mit der Tastenkombination strg+c kopieren und mit strg+v in ein anderes Textfeld einfügen möchte, funktioniert das nicht. Auch das Einfügen in einem anderen Programm funktioniert nicht. Das Kopieren und Einfügen per rechten Mausklick ist allerdings ganz normal möglich.Ich habe schon sämtliche Einstellungen durchgeschaut, finde aber nichts dazu. Sehr geehrtes Adobe-Team, ich bin seit vielen Jahren Besitzer einer legalen Vollversion der Adobe Creative Suite CS6, einschließlich Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Die Software lief bisher problemlos unter Windows 10. Nach einem Mainboardtausch erkennt Acrobat X Pro die bestehende Aktivierung nicht mehr. Stattdessen erscheint ein Hinweis, dass die Testphase abgelaufen sei. Ich werde zur erneuten Aktivierung aufgefordert – der Aktivierungsprozess scheint erfolgreich zu verlaufen, jedoch lässt sich die Software anschließend nicht starten. Auch nach mehrmaliger Installation und Aktivierung bleibt das Problem bestehen. Mir ist bewusst, dass CS6 offiziell nicht mehr unterstützt wird. Ich brauche auch keine Unterstützung für die Software, ich möchte sie einfach nur weiter verwenden, wie vor dem Mainboardtausch.Ich bitte Sie höflichst um eine Lösung, wie ich meine rechtmäßig erworbene Software weiterhin nutzen kann. Hi I have an older machine that is running Windows 10 and has Acrobat Pro DC 2015 Release (Classic).  I would like to transfer the license to my new machine running Windows 11 Pro.  Is my version of Acrobat compatibile with Windows 11? Thank you

The link to MS Paint is no longer working. When I try to re-add it, I get the following error. I cannot find a way to edit objects in Adobe using MS Paint. Help. 

Every time I go to print a PDF using the printer icon, the upper left quarter of the first page prints and then the entire PDF prints properly. This is a HUGE waste of paper--and very frustrating. How can I make this not happen???

Hi,Every couple of months, Acrobat goes screwy.  I'm using Acrobat 64-bit, all current updates are installed.When it happens it slows my laptop  down for 10 mins - laptop only intermittently responsive, no taskbar, black screen coming and going.  Generally it seems very close to crashing.This time, I did manage to open task manager and it showed that Acrobat was using 22GB of memory, even though I hadn’t had it open when the problem started.  I used task manager to close the Acrobat process and the laptop recovered back to normal.Maybe Acrobat was going through some sort of update process, but that shouldn’t have caused it to use 22GB of memory and the problems I experienced.I think maybe it was the updater running in the background – but it shouldn’t be using such a ridiculous amount of memory.Has anyone else experienced this?  Is there a known cause and a solution?Thanks

I'm noticing that when I use the Adobe PDF printer in Acrobat during a print job, some of the landscape pages are rotating to portrait.  Is there a way to keep them as landscape during the print process?

Hi all, Notebook MSI i5-8300 @2.30GHz RAM: 16 GB WIN11 x64 Home edition Adobe CC licensed AV: Bitdefender   Adobe Acrobat DC - up to date   In the last 18 months, I am experiencing an issue when I am exporting PDf to MS Word. This month I tried to uninstall Acrobat Dc and re-installed it. The error is even worse. Now, Acrobat DC is crashing when I try to export to MS Word. The names of the file and folders are disappearing. The desktop icons have a weird font. The only way I can view the names of the files and folders is to reboot the computer.   The error appears no matter what PDF file I try to export to MS Word.   All the other Adobe applications are working just fine.  

I have a CMYK PDF document that was meant to be printed on tan paper.  It turns out that it will be printed on white paper.  Could I shift the color of both the background and the text and images so the result will look like it was printed on tan?  Or is there a way to shift just the white background to tan?Thanks.
